How easy the mind can be shaped when a crack has been placed on it. The river of want pushes harder until the crack releases the wave and the mind game begins. The creation of ones' own need to be apart is far greater then that of rationality.

This started out as an experiment for me, I did my research and planned carefully, you see I had a vision that this would be posted and all this placed on the thread, I even saw myself typing what I am now. I did my part and planted the crack and now I see what I was meant to. What you actually did was combine two symbols from Fullmetal Alchemist, I checked. You then, entering a state of gnosis accidentally imbued it with power, but not exactly what you wrote, you placed on the symbol an eternal knowledge, but the flaw in it was the fact that knowledge destroys the mind when one isn't ready to accept it. I sealed your symbol with magick, that is why some people may have seen the red. This is also one reason I made the thread on Chaos Magick. I was hoping to learn more on it, for I have been a tad busy for the past month. You created a symbol, not of what you were thinking, but of a corrupt knowledge. All you saw was true, but the mind to comprehend it all will slowly try and destroy itself. That is why I sealed it, so as to stop others from falling under the 'curse' and to stop the spread of those already under it. I am not able to destroy the power you placed on it, I can just hide it from others. It is your symbol and you have to do with it as you like, it is your problem to bare. I am off to bed now, I'm happy to know my vision has come true though.

Well, here's a recap showing my basic understanding of what had just happened:

ambrose had a vision showing a symbol and several other mental images. ambrose realized that the symbol was a powerful enchantment and posted it here to share with us his discovery. FLCL saw it and said that it was some ancient symbol that was part of a giant array. The giant array is bigger and more complicated than the human mind can imagine. He wanted it removed because the part of the array that ambrose had posted could be dangerous. Nobody(the user formerly known as cowwcoww) saw the picture and received an enlightenment like ambrose had. FLCL removes the pictures so that no others can receive this enlightment of sorts and feel compelled to use the array/enchantment because doing so might be dangerous to themselves and to those around them. ambrose then posts warning us all about the symbol, explaining to us why they were removed and how anyone who became enlightened is now in danger..

What is so important about this "great circle"? How and why does it have the power to "screw all life"?

And Khalida, I was just wondering about when you told ambrose to destroy the symbol, delete it from photo hosts, etc. You seemed to know a lot then, and not just "going with the flow".

Actually, Khalida was referring to the common rules of enchantments at the time. And while this symbol is nothing more than an enchantment, it's an enchantment made to represent all the knowledge behind it. And all the knowledge behind it is the knowledge capable of spelling out the large array.

Basically there are symbols which represent tons of knowledge.
This knowledge tells you how to draw the large array.
And all the large arrays combine into the great array.

The great array is an array that can control, manipulate, create, and destroy anything and everything. It's far larger than human minds can ever comprehend. It has the power to build, unbuild, and rebuild thousands of worlds. If the greater god used alchemy in the birth of all existence (not just limited to the physical realm)- he used the great array.
