Journal Entry "The Slip."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Dinner hadn't gone as he had planned. Waya had finally gained enough courage to ask his family a question that had been plaguing his mind for weeks. Had they seen the wolf? He was answered with laughter and Ballentine's words haunting his heard. "Honey, wolves don't naturally live in this area. You're probably just seeing a stray dog or it's your imagination getting the best of you. Just let it go." She had told him.
"Just let it go... Seeing things..." Waya muttered to himself as he sat upon his window sill. It's where he always retreated to when he sought out alone time. They can laugh all they want. He thought to himself, drawing his knees up close to his chest while pressing his forehead against the cool window pane. "I know what I saw." It was a declaration of the truth, and somehow he'd prove to them he wasn't seeing things. But how?
Ballentine's words brought doubt to his mind. What exactly did he see? An actual wolf? A ghost? Or was it his imagination? I was sick half the time... He mused to himself, chewing lightly on his lower lip. Everything could have been brought on from his fever. But that didn't explain the few sightings he had when healthy.
Puzzled once more he rose to his feet, pacing to the door before returning to the window and repeating the process. It was a common act for the boy to do when in thought mode. He had to do something, and then in mid step it came to him. "Capture it." He muttered. Yes! If he caught whatever it was he could show the family he wasn't just seeing things and shouldn't be laughed at.
Without thinking the plan out fully, he began to pack. His leather bag was stuff with rope, beef jerky, a small dagger he received from Jason and of course his journal. He wouldn't leave that behind for any reason.
Quickly he pulled on a pair of leather pants. They were hand me downs from jay, but much warmer than the straps he usually wore. A cotton sweater was added as well before his fur cloak was tugged on. Lastly was a pair of snow boots. Ugly looking things but they served their purpose well and kept his toes nice and warm.
He didn't want to get caught going out the front door. Oh no, they weren't supposed to be going out this late! Snatching the sheet from his bed he made his way out onto the balcony. One end was tied to the rail while the rest carelessly tossed off the side. It didn't reach the ground, but it would drop him low enough to land safely on his feet and not break any bones.
Once his feet met the white blanket of snow he cast a glance around. So far so good! Tugging his cloak close he turned and started off into the woods. It was starting to snow and he scowled. The snow always made him feel nostalgic in a bad way, as if the snow was out to haunt him. It made everything so silent, like death. A gust of wind caused his small body to shiver and he hurried along.
He wasn't sure how long he had walked, but damned it all if he wasn't getting cold! Where on earth could this wolf be?! He asked himself as he paused once more, the snow squishing under his feet. He had forgotten a flashlight but was pleased to find his eye sight was quite well in the dark. Lifting his hands to his mouth he blew his warm breath into them. His fingers had long ago went numb to the cold.
"Where are you..." Waya muttered in a tired voice. "I know you're out there... Somewhere. And I'll find you." His voice held a thick tone of warning as he once more began to walk. Each step crunched more snow beneath his feet, however one step was odd. Instead of a firm drop into snow, his food slipped out from beneath him. He fell hard with a CRACK before everything around him went black.

Journal Entry "My Hero?"
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
//Wake up...//
"Nnn... Cold." Waya muttered as he tried to move, wincing as everything was numb from cold and his head throbbing in pain. It sounded like a million bees were buzzing around inside his head, stinging the base of his skull. "Ow.." A small whimper.
//Wake up child...//
Waya frowned at the voice. It was both unfamiliar and familiar at the same time! But he couldn't recognize who the voice was coming from. Slowly he cracked open his eyes, doing his best to focus on the tree tops above him. He quickly took notice of the sky and realized morning was soon on it's way.
"s**t..." Yes! A cuss word, and a word he'd never say in the presence of an adult. Slowly he sat up right, reaching behind his head to check the damage. He felt a cold sticky feeling at the base of his head and brought his fingers around to see blood. Not good. Having been laying on ice probably helped with swelling and pain but didn't help with his condition. He had to get home and fast!
"Warm." He muttered when he felt something touch his cheek, turning his head towards the side. He blinked once, twice and then his eyes widened. He was nose to nose with the white wolf he sought. "It's you...." He smiled weakly as the wolf continued to lick at his face. "Stop that...."
Obediently the wolf stopped, sitting down beside Waya and tipping it's head to the side. It watched as Waya reached up to wipe the cooling saliva from his face before he attempted to stand. "Ah..!" He cried out, slipping down to his knee and holding onto his head. Everything had whirled around him when he stood.
As his vision cleared once more and adjusted to the dim moon light he'd be quick to feel with his senses. Eyes. Someone was staring at him! Glancing up his eyes locked onto a second pair of golden eyes. Yes! The wolf! How could he have forgotten!? His dagger, where had it gone? He asked to himself as he lowered his gaze to search for the object. He must have dropped it when he slipped.
//Do not fear me child for I am a part of you...// Came that soft voice into his head once more. It had a comforting tone and caused Waya to pause and glance back up. Was that possible? //Yes... It is possible.// The voice was mocking now, the wolf almost smirking.
"But how?" Waya had to ask as he cocked his head, soon regretting the movement. It caused a small pain to swell and his head go spinning once more. This was bad... Much worse than he thought. "H-how... Is it.... I.." He couldn't form the words, the sentence lost to him as he rose his hand to touch the back of his head once more. Fresh blood now oozing from the wound.
Slowly he began to let his body fall forward, laying his face into the snow. "C-cold...." He whispered as his body once more went into shivers as it felt the elements again.
//Do not sleep! You need help.// With Waya being the only one that could see him, he was powerless in this situation. He leaned forward once more to lick at his wound.
"T-they... Don't k... know .... I gone..." Waya struggled with the words, knowing he wouldn't be found until morning when Ballentine went to wake him and found him missing from the bed. Possibly late afternoon even. Would it be to late?
Gently the wolf nudged at Waya to keep the boy awake. //Do what is in your nature...// Carefully the wolf settled it's body over Waya's, though it would do little to keep the boy warm.
"My... Nature...." Waya repeated as he laid on the frozen ground shivering. "Nature...." The word died off from his tongue as he let nature take it's turn. Licking his lips nervously he drew in a breath of the cold air, a cough erupting from his throat. It felt like pins and needles stabbing the entire way down to his lungs, not a happy feeling.
//Careful...// A pointless warning now, but the wolf lightly licked at his cheek.
Slowly this time he took in a breath, swallowing and then letting out a long painful howl. The sound echoed, music to his own ears. Someone would hear him... Right?

Journal Entry "Frozen!"
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Where the hell is he?!" Jason shouted at the top of his lungs as he trudged through the snow. He had been in the middle of a very good dream when he began to hear the howling in the woods. It didn't take him long to recognize Waya's voice, even if it was in a howl. Grumbling as he once more slipped in the snow, Jason cursed. He wasn't too happy about being in the cold weather and had forgotten to grab his jacket in a haste to get outside.
Why had he rushed so much? Well after the howling hadn't stopped for ten minutes he had a feeling something bad had happened. Waya wouldn't fool around like that, or cry wolf in any case. He had to go and check it out, even if it turned out that nothing happened and Waya was perfectly fine. "Little s**t..." If he was fine he wouldn't be for long, Jason was going to kick his a**!
Five minutes now, Jason continued to follow the calls of distress. They were starting to come in longer periods of time and shorter, Jason in a bit of a panic. He had to find Waya before they stopped! He bit his lip, taking in a breath of cold air to scream at the top of his lungs, "Waya!" He called out, frowning when no response was given, not even a howl. "WAYA!"
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
He could hear his name being shouted in the distance but had no energy to call out. He had used it all in those unanswered calls for help. He just couldn't take in that much needed breath to scream for the one looking for him.
Neshoba stood by looking worried, leaning down to lick at Waya's face lightly. //Once more. Someone has come. Call out once more!// Neshoba ordered the boy, but Waya didn't even respond to him. The boys breathing was becoming slower and his lips a dark purple blue.
Again and much louder Waya's name was called in the distance. Neshoba had to do something it seemed as no matter what he did the boy wasn't waking. A small whine passed his lips as he began to glow. Using the strength he had, he began to possess Waya. It was easy in the boy's state of mind. His form took on a bright white light, all but melting into Waya.
Almost instantly his eyes snapped open, a deep breath taken and once more a long howl was released. Three more followed until Jay seemed to jump into view from between two trees. Neshoba smiled at the sight, not knowing who it was, but the person would help for sure. Jason had ran over, pulling the boy up into his arms carefully. "Waya! God mom is going to have a heart attack! What the hell happened?!"
There was no response. The smile from Waya's lips fading as Neshoba left the body, taking a stance a few feet away. Jason gasped, seeing the wolf for the first time. Waya hadn't been lying. He gave a faint nod before he rose up to his feet with Waya in his arms. He'd keep the sighting of the wolf to himself, but knew he had to get Waya home as soon as possible.

Journal Entry "A Gift From Cubi."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Christmas had come, and apparently Cubi had thought about Waya. The boy felt a bit guilty as he sat upon his bed with the nicely wrapped gift. He hadn't even thought of getting the woman anything. Was he a bad child for that? His ears pressed against his head as he took a moment to think back on everyone. Cubi, Orphne, Airez... People that had taken care of him and that he barely thought of now.
The boy couldn't help but sigh, idly picking at the wrapping paper. "Would have been better to totally forget the past." Waya muttered to the gift, eyeing it just a bit. He couldn't help but be curious about what was inside.
//You won't know until you open it.// Cooed Neshoba's voice into Waya's mind.
Waya had to roll his eyes, sometimes the wolf could be so damn annoying. But he did have a point. "I know..." He muttered while his fingers continued to pick at the wrapping. It was from Cubi and he felt slightly guilty that when he closed and tried to bring her image up into his minds eye, the woman was nothing but a fuzzy image. Orphne and Ariez were still visible.. But not Cubi.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he began to unwrap the gift. The wrapping paper was carefully removed as to not rip it, and then the top of the box lifted off. He cocked his head to the side as he peered down at what he had received. A pair of earrings with what looked like to be a wolf fangs, a bracelet made of something like bone with carvings in it, and a silver wolf engraved arm band. Below them a book on shamanism.
As he moved the contents of the box around he'd find a small card with his name on it. He was curious as to what was in it, but didn't want to open it. There could be anything and everything written inside and some things he'd rather leave in the past. Even if it meant forgetting about those who had to give him up. He was happy now, that's all that mattered.
He took the card and slipped it into a random page in the book. The wrapping paper was soon to follow after being folded up delicately. Everything was once more placed into the box and the box put on his nightstand. Gold eyes glanced over at Neshoba and Waya smiled softly. "Well... The gifts were nice. I'll have to send a thank you card."
//Mmm. She must love you to keep thinking of you even now. Won't you read the card?// Neshoba asked as he settled himself down, head resting on his paws. //It could be something important inside.//
Waya considered it another moment then shook his head. "No... Some things are best kept in the past. Perhaps one day when I can deal with it I will read it. For now, I want to be happy with no regrets." That said, Waya kicked the covers on his bed back to settle in for sleep.

Journal Entry "Hair Cut Day."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
It was hair cut day for my family. Now, what is hair cut day? Well it's not the day I cram everyone into the car and drive them down to a barber or stylist to pay and arm and a leg for them to lose an inch of hair. No. I prefer to do it all myself. It's much cheaper that way!
Jason however always refuses to let me touch his hair. That's fine. I slip him a few bucks and he'd go get it done himself at a professional. I don't blame him there! Tasanee thankfully volunteered to go first, her hair was so long! We wet it down and after a few minutes I took off a few inches, the girl content with that.
Hugo had come in next, the boy a bit fussy over the situation. I had to take the quick way out and just chop the hair in front of his eyes so he could see again! Edward was the same way. Two peas in a pod, those two.
Bricriu, oh there was a head ache! He thought it was going to hurt and so bit, scratched, screamed and hit just to try and get away. After I used a bit of my own hair to show him that it doesn't hurt he calmed down. That and the fact I allowed him to play with a pair of safety scissors and paper. A distraction to get the work done! I think that was my mistake...
Belinda came next, the girl babbling on about her new dolly Tasanee had given her. She was over excited to get out of the chair and go play again, so I gave her a quick misting with a water bottle, brush through and a trim. She really did look cute with that hair style though I left the curls a bit longer.
Lastly was Waya, the boy looking a bit unsure with me wielding the scissors. I had to reassure him a few times that I knew what I was doing ( well enough to do minor work ) and I wouldn't screw anything up. Reluctantly he had sat down.
"Aieyaaa!" A scream. I immediately knew it was Belinda and put down my scissors. "Bricriu!" Another scream from the small girl as she chased the boy down the hall. "You broke her! You broked her!"
A blue streak whizzed past me as Bricriu sought out a hidden spot under the kitchen table. I was able to nab Belinda up into my arms before she had a chance to pass me. "What on earth is going on?!" I asked.
Tear stained cheeks turned up towards me, Belinda sniffling. A doll with chopped up hair was shown to me, "He broke her! I said no 'n he broked her!" The doll was then beat against my shoulder as if that would fix it. It didn't, it just made my shoulder a tad bit sore.
"Belinda, honey... Calm down. We can fix it later ok? Mommy promises she'll fix it." Setting the girl down I barely managed to snag her back. Her rage was present in her eyes and she wanted to take it out on Bricriu. The boy wasn't any better, teasing and taunting her from under the table. I had half a mind to let her go, but what kind of parent would I be?
"Now Belinda." I put her down upon her feet, held one arm firmly in m hand and turned her chin to face me. "If you don't stop I'm going to put you on the steps for five minutes. You didn't like it last time remember? Give me the doll and I'll fix her later."
"NO!" Belinda screamed, struggling to tug away. "I wanna break him!"
"Belinda no." I said and gave her bottom a small swat. "Do you want to go sit on the steps?"
"No... I... " She burst into more tears, going limp in my arms.
"Don't you go anywhere." I stated to Bricriu as I lifted Belinda up into my arms to carry her out of the room. I gently pet Belinda's back to calm her, humming while walking. The girl went from sobbing to sniffles by the time we reached her room. I put her down for a nap.
I was only gone a few seconds. A minute tops. But that was all the time Bricriu needed to destroy Waya's hair. When I returned to the kitchen I found Waya sitting atop Bricriu on the floor. Both boys looked up at me.
"Mommy get him off! Heaaaavvvyyy!" Bricriu whined as he kicked his feet about, hands flailing a bit. Though Waya wasn't letting the poor boy up at all. "Waya off!" He whimpered.
Waya scowled. "Look at what he did!" Lifting one hand he displayed a orange brown curl in his hand. Words didn't have to be said as I figured out what went on. Bricriu had clipped off one of Waya's hair curls. Well one good thing came out of the situation... I hated those damn curls.
"Waya get off your brother." I said as I approached the two, helping Waya off Bricriu to take the small boy into my arms. "Now hand over the scissors." I said as I placed my hand out for them. "Bricriu now." Hesitantly a small hand placed a pair of scissors into my hand, and I gave a now. "Good.. Now go to you room." I released him and gave his bottom a swat. "No dessert for you tonight."
I watched as the small child pouted all the way out of the room, hearing his little stops upon the steps. I shook my head and glanced at Waya, flashing an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry kiddo... But it looks like the only way to fix it is to either make it even or cut them all off."
Waya reached up to his hair, stroking his lovely curls a bit. "I guess... Cut them off." The words were said with a little remorse. He had those curls since birth, one of the last things he shared with Cubi left. Sighing he moved to sit in the chair and close his eyes.
I frowned as I approached him, feeling like a firing squad on a criminal. "It'll do it quick." I whispered lightly as I put Bricriu's scissors down and grabbed the correct ones . It was a few simple snips and the curls dropped to the ground. I ran my fingers through Waya's hair, snipping a bit of the ends to give him a shaggy look.
Five minutes later I ruffled his hair. "All done kiddo...."
Waya glanced up at me with a placid face and hopped out of the chair, a 'thanks' muttered as he started out of the room. I took a moment to watch him and smile. He was growing, a lot taller than when he first arrived. A more mature hair cut was definitely becoming of him.
Time for a clean up! I laughed to myself as I glanced down to see what mess I had. Though to my surprise, "Sayid! What are you doing?! You can't collect the hair!" I shouted as I saw a long bony finger grabbing and chunks of hair. Ugh! This house is just so crazy sometimes!

AIM RP with Breena "This isn't fun..."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Breena Lady Naita sat, a mass of black silk, lace, and sombre pearl accompaniments. Her mind was ablaze, unsure West was West, and East was East anymore. A man she supposed she must have loved lay in the ground, and she could muster no mourning, no care save for that her wardrobe remain respectful. The fortune his death meant had no impact either, she was simply... numb. Before her a toddler played, hair a pool of ebony, dress on this day matching. She did not wear her usual play-act of a grin. Instead, a scowl wound her pallid features. She was heartily sick of baby talk being spoken to her, and that her tongue could not yet form the replies she craved to make. Waya Ballentine decided a day away from the chaos of her family would do Waya a little good, and so she took the boy for a drive. Where did they end up? Well at the Legend HQ. The boy looked a bit unsure if he really wanted to be there or not, but soon enough he walked through the doors and glanced around. He saw the woman who looked depressed and frowned a bit. He was curious why, but would never ask due to respect.
Casting a glance down at his side, looking as if he was staring off into space he gave a small nod then a response to thin air. "We'll just stay awhile." Flashing a soft smile Waya continued in.
Before he had a chance to say anything, he watched as his companion trotted off to the small child. It bent to sniff curiously at the girl.
Waya just stood in shock and frowned, taking a few steps towards them. "Get back here.." he hissed just above a whisper as he didn't want to alarm the child or it's mother. Breena Black eyes raising at some small noise, Breenie's attention was caught not by that which gave it to her, but by the boy. A victim... delicious. With some effort, she wiped the mutinous expression from her features, and replaced it with one, though not with it's usual false angelic sweetness, at least masked her mind's working well enough. On the seat, however, Lady Siri noticed not a thing. She continued to fidget with her skirts, pulling each in turn with a nervous rustle, chewing on her lower lip. Waya Neshoba..." The hiss of the name caused the wolf to press it's ears to it's head and retreat from the child. It circled around the small body before returning to Waya's side.
The boy sighed as he ran a hand through his hair, shifting the fur cloak on his arms. It was rather warm in the building and he didnt need it as much as he thought he would. A simple clasp was released and the coak brought into his arms to rest over one.
Golden eyes now looked from the wolf to the child that lay on the floor. Well... it was smiling, and so he forced one onto his own lips. Breena A sleight of the hand, a piece of concentration and a finally mastered trick was achieved, a small, grey crystal seemingly appearing in the infant's hand. If there was a stash up one sleeve, the babe certainly did her best to conceal it. This she held in the direction of the boy, moving the gem slightly to catch fleeting rays of light on it's facets. She spoke not a word yet, lest the attempt sound as horrid as many. She was not pleased, for words did not slip off her tongue as they seemed to do for adults. Waya Waya's attention sucessfully shifted from the girl to the orb held in her hand. He frowned a bit, pressing his ears to his head. Was she offering it to him?
He stepped a bit closer, crouching down in front of the girl and smiling weakly. "It's pretty..." He said as he reached out to touch it. He was curious about it. Though a low growling was in his ear as the Neshoba wasn't too sure about the situation. Breena Those black eyes twinkled, though the appearance was of happiness, the reason was not. Breena was no playground miss, no little girl whose only concerns lay in the beauty of pleasure. No, in the pure selfishness of pleasure did she bathe. However, for the moment, she was happy to allow this attention, for what good was an opportunity missed. Relinquishing the object, a gentle smile fluttered at her mouth, the palid lips twitching upwards. "Yours," she stated simply, for there, at least, was a word that rang with no disgusting babyish tinge. Waya His hand retreated at the word, his head shaking. "No.. I cannot." He wasn't the type to take anything from a child! They'd burst into tears next and then the mother would beat on him for stealing the toy. Or at least that's how it always happened on the TV.
"You play with it..." He said with a small nod. Breena Even such an actress as Breena could not keep up a front at all times. With eyes slightly narrowed, she pushed the item forward, attempting to thrust it into the boy's hand. "Yours," she uttered again, a little more forcefully. How the hell were her little attempts to ingratiate herself with these children meant to work when they refused? Waya He gasped as the item was once more offered to him, shifting his gaze to the mother. Well, she wasn't paying attention really and Waya reached out once more. He took the orb and brought it closer to his eyes to glance inside it cautiously. Breena A satisfied smile replaced the growing look of mutiny on the girl's face, and with a very low giggle she went back to attempting to make another 'appear.' Such could be a useful trick, especially among those whose idiocy blinded them to all but a simple trick. However, introductions loomed. Fixing the other in her black gaze, she began the attempt. "I am Breena," she managed, though not without some struggle. And once more irritation glittered in her eyes. A simple speech should not have nearly foiled her. Waya Waya's ears perked a bit as the girl spoke, taking his eyes from the orb to her once more. "Breena?" He repeated to make sure he had heard right. For a child the girl did speak well he thought to himself.
"I'm waya.." He said with a small smile. "You sure you want to give this to me?" It was a big question yes, but he wasn't one to do baby talk. "Won't your Mom get mad?" Breena Her mother? Unlikely her mother should care. Something of a chilly giggle escaped the girl. She presumed he referred to the puff of material on the couch, and merely quirked her brows. "Not mum," she said simply. It was Riife who had given her the crystals in any case, and they were hers to dispose of as she wished. Thoughts of her mother occurred rarely, and ignoring the watery face to swim in her mind, she opened her mouth to speak again. "B..butler gave th...em." The curse of infancy struck again, and the pale child gritted her milk-teeth tightly. Waya He listened, understanding the words even though they were poorly spoken. "Butler? Wow..." Not even Ballentine had a butler for the large house they inhabited.
He looked back at the crystal, the item making him think of a movie. Labyrinth. He was curious how in the movie the orb was slid from hand to hand, and of course he knew he wouldn't be able to perform such a trick without hours of practice.
Sighing a bit he smiled once more at Breena. "Did you want to play or something?" He asked. Well he wouldn't really enjoy it but he could entertain the child for awhile. Breena Play? Indeed, though it was doubtful he would enjoy her preferred games. However, at this she nodded, turning her gaze upon him in query. "Play what?" What could the slightly bedraggled looking boy offer for her amusement? Waya He frowned a bit, shifting to sit indian style and place his cloak and now the orb into his lap. Play what? He scratched at his head in thought. That was a good question... he didn't know what to play! Specially with an infant.
"You tell me?" He offered with a small smile. Breena Oh joy, creativity! In truth, Breena had never been the sort of babe to wish silly toys or games upon others, or least of all herself. She cared for the magic tricks shown her, the trickery and deception involved in sleight of hand. And so with a grin lightly on the devilish side, she uttered a single word. "Magic?" Waya "Magic.." Well he wasn't good enough to perform for anyone yet. It was true he was learning but he had only gotten a few books on it recently. "I can't .. I'm still learning." Waya tried to explain. Breena "Tricks," she tried again. Surely he must know some small piece of trickery, it could not be too hard, she had learnt one, in his time he would have had ample opportunity. Boredom began toying with her gaze. If he could not amuse her, she would make her own amusement. She had for a time been cultivating a pressure within herself, a wish to truly be relieved of the frustration and boredom. Waya Waya pressed his ears to his head. Yes... He had taught himself a few slight of hands tricks. When he was sick in bed he taught himself how to juggle. Though you can't juggle with just one thing.
Sighing he lifted the orb once more, a dagger from his it's place on his thigh and a small leather pouch for coins in his pocket. "Well... here goes." He stated a bit uneasy as he started to juggle the three items and most careful to not drop the orb or slice himself with the dagger of course. Breena A dagger. A dagger, of all the items most precious to Breena was a blade, and the horrid people did not let her play with her own. Her gaze became focused on the metal, all sense of play-acting gone in the sheer need to have that item. From within her sleeve, one of her hidden crystals dropped, it's edges tiny, but jagged. And still her eyes strained on the precious dagger. Waya Well juggling wasn't doing anything worth while and he stopped, placing each item into his lap as he looked at the girl. "I think I should go." he stated while putting the orb down for her once more. "Yours...." Next he put the dagger back into it's holder and the pouch into a pocket on a belt he wore. Breena Her eyes narrowed to mere slits as this untold pleasure was denied to her. She should have a dagger, dammit. She should. With something resembling a growl she sprang forward, grabbing at the sheath, her own little weapon, that jagged rock, jabbing in her tiny fist. She would have it, she would have that blade! On the seat, Lady Siri was finally roused from her thoughts, and stared, open-mouthed at her ward. "Breena!" she screeched, horrified. Waya Waya was quick to react, grabbing the girl's wrists before she'd hit him. Though when the mother screeched he released his hold and put his hands up innocently. "I didn't do anything to her.." Breena Frustrated beyond her means, and with her guardian bearing down on her, Breena set about wailing as if the world were about to end. As Naita bore her away, apologising profusely, the tiny girl released some tiny part of her anger by jamming the stone a few times into Lady Siri's shoulder, a small, placid smile growing on her lips as the woman reacted to the pain. Waya "Hey!" he rose to his feet quickly, grabing the little girl's wrist once more and trying to take the orb from her hand. "That's dangrous..." Breena The interruption meant little, Breena had reached her satisfaction and relinquished the crystal easily, her sobs at an end. As Naita bore her out of the building, that black gaze regained it's twinkle, those pale lips curved upwards, and she waved goodbye to the boy. Waya Waya just watched as the child was carried away, a frown on his face as he waved to her. Well... he had two new toys of his own it seemed! He glanced down at the crystal in his hand and the other left discarded on the floor, he'd have to return them the next time he saw the child. - e n d

By the time they were walking up the path to the DeMarselle residence, Karan had forgotten where the idea to visit had come from. There was the gift that had to be delivered, of course. But there was something more that was driving him.
Prana walked a step behind her cousin, a mixture of excitement and anxiety filling her movements. She did want to see Waya, of course, but it had been such a long time. What if he was different? Or worse, what if he didn't even remember her?
Unaware of Prana's distress, Karan nonetheless spoke warmly to her. "I think this will be fun. He was nice last time."
He rang the doorbell, fidgeted impatiently, and waited.

There was a long pause of silence from the other side of the door before locks clicked and the door was pulled open. It wasn't Waya though, no, a young female. Taima took it into her own hands to answer the door and zap anyone that wasn't supposed to be there.
Her cold eyes fixed on the two, one small eyebrow lifting a bit. "What do you want?" She asked, her voice a bit squeaky from being so young still.

Karan looked at Prana, then back at the figure in the doorway. He really shouldn't have expected Waya to answer the door, but now that someone else had he wasn't sure what to say. Still, he felt the need to take the initiative. Despite being a visitor at someone else's house, he was still the host. Sort of. And being in control was a good thing anyway.
"Hi."
Well, that was a start.
The girl, possibly a member of Waya's new family, was pretty. Prana admired her wings, especially the glossy feathers in them, before remembering the reason for their visit. "We're here to see Waya," she said softly. "Is he here?"

Taima studied Karan as if he were a lower class idiot for the simple comment he made. Really.. He was the one that knocked. She turned her un-amused eyes to Prana when she spoke, giving a nod of her head. "Inside." Taima's small body pushed the door further open to allow them in.
Though as soon as the other two legends were to enter the home, they'd see the reason of their visit walking down the staircase down the hall. Waya had an empty plate and a glass in his hand and was more than likely headed to the kitchen to deposit both items into the sink. He didn't even bother to look up at the doorway and seemed to be looking down at something that was following him, but nothing was there.

Perhaps he needed some work on being a host. Feeling rightly embarrased, Karan trudged in, refusing to make eye contact with anyone. Next time he would either practice ahead of time, or call ahead, or something. It felt horrible to be on the spot like that.
It was Prana who spotted Waya first. He looked like he was doing well. Just seeing him made her feel a little better. Still, she wasn't sure what to say to him, or even if she should get his attention. He looked like he was busy, but with what she couldn't quite tell.
Karan looked at Prana, then followed her gaze. There he was. "W-Waya?" he called, trying to take up the lead again. That was him, right?

Upon hearing his name, Waya listed and turned his head. His features went form mild curiosity as he hadn't recognized the voice to utter shock. Was that... Too bad he hadn't been paying attention to where he was going! His face soon turned to embarrassment as he walked directly into the wall just a few inches from the doorway.
The plate and glass he had been holding slipped from his grasp, but before the items would smash on the floor some unseen force caught them.
Waya stood still a moment as he tried to regain his composure. The plate and dish just simply floated off through the doorway and towards the kitchen. Waya took notice and turned to his guests to smile nervously. "T-that's Neshoba..." A jab of his thumb indicated to where the dishes floated off to. "He's... ah... My spirit guide.. Or.. Uh... Something. We're not sure.... But he's a white wolf... Not that I.. uh.. Expect you to see him..." He licked his lips nervously as he hoped the two accepted that as his explanation for the situation.
Before he could say another word, Neshoba had returned and easily pushed it's way past Waya and to the two guests. Almost surprisingly Karan would soon feel a push of a snout into his groin. "Neshoba!" Waya exclaimed as he took the few steps forward that were needed to grab the wolf and tug it away before it could violate his second guest.
Taima just rolled her eyes, letting the door finally slam shut. "Stupid..." She muttered as she simply walked between the scene and made her exit into the living room.
Waya pressed his ears to his head as he watched his sister leave before glancing cautiously back to his guests. Both were familiar but he could place the female well. Carefully he sniffed at the air, taking in their scents before his eyes fell onto Karan. "You've grown Karan..." He said softly. "You look good... But who's..." And he looked at Prana, his brow pressing together tightly. He remembered her scent just vaguely ...
