"As did I watch as my father's flesh was ripped from him as he fought. He was skinned alive by the stallion I seek, but I am not going after this stallion Im going after my mother and no the plan is far from being put into action. There are not enough of us and even once the battle starts it will be many a day before its over. The least I should have the right to do is deal with my mother and recuit what is left if any of my kind to help us. You've a far cry from a battle plan Alora and we dont even know how to fuction as a unit. Do you think thoses we seek to destory will lay down and take it as we smash their skulls in? Do you think the two-legger lovers will let you near the two-leggers without a fight? No they will fight back no matter how weak they mentaly are. And quite frankly we are far out numbered, like the ants to the grasshopper. And as far as honor and promises go, I hold a different meaning for these words.I am still very much one of my kind, Alora and by now you should know that. You are right about one thing, I dont want you as a foe, but not for the reason you've impiled. So either move or kill me, because I do not do what other's tell me too,not anymore. " Zira simply stared at Alora waiting to see what Alora would do at this moment was when she decided she wouldnt fight back if Alora attacked. Zira knew in a way she was being weak, but at the same time she was to stubborn to back down from her dession.

Alora snapped her words back at Zira, "Thats why it needs you. We need to recruit others or we have no purpose any longer. We need you now more then ever and instead you want to run off seeking revenge instead of seeking allies and followers. As far as a unit goes, if some of us acted like we should be instead of letting emotions rule us we might function better a s aunit now wouldn't we?" Alora knew that was a low blow but it was true and needed to be said. "I intend to go recruit an army, and see to it the numbers and odds are evened out for battle. I'm not foolish enough to attack with only 3 or 4 of us. But if you must leave you must, just be warned is all I am telling you Zira. If I find you against us or betraying us there will be hell to pay. You might be one of my only friends but I will do what I must to see this plan succeed." Alora nodded to Cad when he spoke, stepping out of Zira's path and heading back towards him now, not bothering to look back at the tan mare that was her friend. She knew he was right. He seemed to have somehow become her voice of reason, but then she needed that or she would forever be chasing the likes if Zira. "You're right....if you are willing still then lets go Cadaver, we have alot of work recruiting to do."

Cadaver watched silently for a moment as Zira and Alora exchanged some more words. His braided tail snapped back and forth as he let out another harsh breath of hair through his nostrils.
Though now it seemed his words had reached Alora and she was coming to her senses that now was not the time for petty bitching. He looked at her for a moment before nodding his had. "Yes, I'm still willing. It doesn't matter what you do or say of your own free mind as I will always be willing." He waited for her to take the lead. Though he turned his body slightly, trying to get Alora out of the area quickly before Zira had time for a retort that might drag her back into a battle of words and excuses. "Lets go then."
As he turned, he glanced at Zira briefly. His eyebrows furrowing slightly before he looked away and waited on Alora to move.

Zira begain to walk forwards but she wasnt one to leave without saying something in return to Alora's low blow. "Alora I know my emotions are out of control and that is part of the reason Im leaving. I am no use to anyone till my head is strait and seeing as I dont have control over somethings I can atleast take control of my lust for revenge by feeding it. And Alora even is my emotions werent controling me, we are far from working together in a fight. " Zira stood still for one moment and looked over her shoulder and caught Cadaver's look. She gave an odd smile before speaking once more. "Why would I betray one of my only friends Alora? I have no reason to change my mind completly about the plan. I am only taking a side trip in my own favor. And as far as hell to be paid if I do betray the cause completly. I would exspect no less, if you are to be the leader your emotions will have to be controled more than anyone else's. I would exspect you to do what you must for the plan, even if that means taking me out. " Zira flicked her tail and broke into a full gallop eager to put space between them less Alora had more words to say.

Alora moved forward as Cadaver spoke and indicated it was time to leave and turned his body to follow her. But instead of leading she walked beside him. She didn't want him following her like a dog obeying her every command. To her, he had as much right and say in this as she did. He was equal.
Zira's words reached her and Alora just clenched her teeth and snorted angrily, pinning her ears back once more. She didn't didn't turn to look at Zira, nor did she respond. Instead she moved forward and soon her ears caught the sound of Zira's retreating hoof beats.
She looked ahead, her head lower then usual as she thought about the recent events. "Thank you for your patience Cadaver and thank you for pulling me out of petty bickering. I am glad you are still willing and happy you are still here. " She walked along still thinking about what she wanted to say. "I didn't stop to think I would ahve to be some sort of elader in all this. I guess I had thought it was to be a group of soquilis with the same cause. But if I am to be any leader, I need an equal partner at my side to command an army. I would hope that partner to be you. You've earned it and you deserve it with your frame of mind. " She stopped to look up at the dark stallion. "Without you I'd probably still be arguing with Zira. You are my voice of reason in all this. I do hope you accept co-leadership. I'm not weak, but with you I am stronger then I would be alone. I need you there. "
She turned her head to survey the lands, wondering where they should start recruiting. It was then she picked up the scent of a strange soquili nearby, unknown to her. "hmmm who is that?" she said barely above a whisper.

As they took their leave from the scene, Cadaver could hear the fading hoof beats of Zira behind them. At least they were out of that situation for now. And he hoped it would be a while before they were to confront Zira again. The tan mare seemed to be a severe thorn in the side.
His ears perked as Alora spoke. "Patience isn't easy. I suppose it comes from knowing that there are more important things, but to also realize that somethings need to be said and done with before hand. As long as they don't drag on for too long."
Flicking his tail slightly as they continued on, he listened to her quietly for a moment. "Not everyone expects to become a leader. Yes, some are born into that role. But then some are forced into it because others around them need someone strong to follow, someone who can take charge and show others the way." He gave a small chuckle as she spoke of him being her co-leader. It was an interesting proposition. And yet she had good reason behind it. "Then I would accept. If it helps make you stronger."
Though she whispered, he could still hear what she had said. "I'm not sure. I saw a quick flash of them earlier but it disapeared. Perhaps they are watching us. But for what reason I'm not sure."

Alora listened when Cadaver spoke. She nodded sagely as he spoke of patience and realizations. "No I suppose its not always easy, but it is appreciated and you've been patient enough with this ordeal we've handled today. Not quite like we had spoken about and planned in the cave eh?" She gave him a sheepish grin.
She listened quietly as he spoke again, standing still before him, shifting the odd leg to paw the earth beneath her. "I suppose thats true. I guess I'm the latter one huh?" She smiled when he agreed to be her co-leader. This made her happy. She felt she needed him. She wasn't dependant on him, but she did need him to be there. "Thank you Cad. It means alot to me that you'll be there."
she was still sniffing at the air after having picked up the scent of another. "hmmm we shold find them and make sure they did not overhear opur plans. If they side with those who would oppose us, they could be a threat. If we're lucky, it'll be someone we can recruit." And with that in mind Alora took off at a gallp, attempting to close the gap between her and this unknown soquili. She of course assumed Cadaver would be close behind.

He smirked lightly and shook his head. "No, not quite like we planned in the cave. But now that this is behind us we can possibly make some progress forward."
As she stood there, he felt a small change in her emotions. Her aura about her seemed to sooth from her previous exchange of harsh words with Zira. It was odd how some Soquili's emotions changed quickly. "I would say so, yes. But that doesn't mean those who are forced into leadership don't become great leaders. It's not a problem Alora. I'll try to be there as much as I can."
Cadaver gave a quick nod at her statement then followed after her quietly. He kept up enough so that she didn't get ahead, but he let her lead a little. She probably had more of an idea of where to go in the first place.

|| Many apologies for the late response! x.x; ||
Cool azure hues observed the interactions from a casual distance, half-lidded in a small bout of boredom as a sigh befell her lips. It seemed that some of these soquili had issues to work out for themselves before they could actually work towards a greater cause... Sukari started to wonder if they were really worth her time. A small snort escaped her nostrils as she pawed the ground impatiently, but ceased all movements when she saw the ebon' stallion and flutter mare approaching. 'Finally...'
Coalen and silver feathered wings twitched at her sides anxiously as she held her head high, shifting only slightly to acknowledge the other soquilis' arrival. "It is my understanding that you have... somewhat of a grudge against weaker soquili and two-leggers?"

Alora spotted the source of the scent rather quickly. A greyish colored wind mare with a long flowing mane and tail of odd colors, black tipped in white. It almost reminded her of Cadaver as she watched it. She noted the black silver tipped wings as well. She was unsure what to expect from this stranger following them and so she tensed, ready to fight if needbe. If this mare posed a problem, she would remove her threat to thier plan.
They arrived within a few feet of this mare, and it seemed she had decided to speak first...and inquiring about thier plan at that!! How did she know? Alora snarled slightly, not liking that an outsider knew of their plan. "And what is it to you mare? " Her emerald eyes blazed dangerously as she prepared to attack, circling the mare in a stalkerish mannerism as she sized her up. "Do you intend to be some goodey two shoes hero and try to stop us?" Alora's eyes glanced up to Cadaver for a moment before returning to the stranger.

Cadaver watched silently as Alora sized up this new mare. He himself was doing his own sizing up. But it would probably go more unnoticed than Alora's. She had charged head on into intimidating this mare. But that was a bit understandable, he supposed. Zira was compramising their plans so far with her drama and any new opposition at the moment would probably send the flutter mare on the war path.
The corner of his mouth curled lightly as he listened to Alora for a second before he spoke. "Come now Alora. You can't accuse everyone of being a goodey two shoes hero right off the bat. Not everyone is up to stride with that kind of position in society." His braided tail flicked to the left casually as he stood there assessing the situation at hand. Alora was on edge, she needed to calm down a bit. Who knew. Perhaps this new mare wasn't what Alora made her out to be. But something else.

Rather than get angry and defensive, Sukari simply raised one eyebrow, cool gaze following the flutter mare as she circled her threateningly. She made no acknowledgement to her intimidation, simply watching her and keeping the stallion in her line of sight. He seemed to be less threatened by her own intervention, she noted... she resolved to keep an eye on him.
It was a moment before she answered the mare's question, lifting her chin high in a display of arrogant pride. "Stop you?" she snorted disbelievingly here, "now why would I do that? I've come to join you. Is this how you treat all of your volunteers?"

Alora's green eyes turned to look at Cadaver as she thought about what he said and then she returned them to the mare before her. "You never know Cad, and unless they outline their intentions with their inquiries how are we to know?" She stared the mare in the eyes a few moments, trying to read them. Finally satisified she spoke the truth Alora moved back to stand beside Cadaver, in front of the mare and turned to face her. "I am not a mind reader so in the future perhaps it would be best to make your intentions known when barging in on someone's plans." Her body lost some of its tension and she flittered her wings. " It is my intention to eliminate any threat to these plans so you must understand and see why I must be very careful. I cannot risk word of this escaping to those who would stand in our way." She held her head high and proud as she viewed the silverish mare. She was now curious as to what ideas and suggestions this mare might have in mind.

A small smirk curled the corners of Cadaver's dark lips at Alora's reply. "Some you can just tell." His tail gave a quick flick as Alora joined him where he stood. Eying the new female with his milky white eyes for a second before he tilted his head, giving her a questioning glance. "Why would you want to join us in the first place? What is your intention behind the request?" He shifted the weight on his legs for a second. Standing around was not something he liked doing. There were always other things to do than just stand around.

Making a conscious effort to refrain from rolling her eyes- she was trying to make somewhat of a decent impression on this mare, after all- Sukari lifted her chin before she spoke again. "I have no intention of holding back your plans or rallying those who would stand against you- rather, I wish to fight at your side." She paused here, looking from the dark stallion to the mare again with calculating eyes. "That is, if you're even worthy of my help." This was meant to be a provocation, of course- it was painfully evident that this mare was a very angry sort- any such reactions made out of fury could heed disastrous results, and Sukari had no intention on being on the losing side of a war.
She took a moment to consider the stallion's inquiry before meeting his opaque gaze steadily, speaking in a low, but confident, and somewhat dangerous tone. "What reason do any of us have to hate the weak? I could question your motives just as you question mine, but where would that lead us?"
