Naruto laughs when she says that, "Hahaha, ok, I will find a way to let you know!!" he says, smiling brightly. Once they are at the front of the line, he orders himself a small soda and a big bag of Sour Skittles, he absolutely loved those things since Moochi gave him some. Once that was done and he has his stuff in hand, he leads the way to their theater so they could grab some good seats.

Rikku peared into the darkened theater. Except for the thearter in Luca, this was her first time in one. The Al Bhed saw differences already. Noticing the screen & glancing at the seats she bit her lip uncertainly. "Should we sit at the back?"
Her sister has teased that if the two lovebirds were going to partake of their usual pastime together they should sit towards the back. Although Rikku certainly would not mind that she also wanted to at least try & watch the movie. "Or there's a couple of seats nearer the middle..."

Naruto looked over the darkened area and was happy to note the seats were stadium seats, meaning they didn't have to worry about someones big head blocking their view! "Let's seat near the back, that way we can see the entire screen!" he says quietly, leading the way up the stairs.

Leaning forward a little as she follows Rikku kisses Naruto's ear lightly. She giggles a little at his comment. "With these seats, I think we can see the whole screen from everywhere!" Her whisper came out in an excited rush by his ear.
As she took a seat next to him Rikku admitted. "I've never seen a movie in 3-D before. Have you Naruto?"

Naruto shivered from her breath on his ear and he had to surpress the urge to through his treats down and grab her up in a kiss. But he held himself back, sitting down in his seat and putting his drink on the armrest cupholder and setting his bag of candy on his lap. Taking his glasses, he is glad to note the movie hasn't started yet and he shakes his head to her question, "Nope, this will be my first time!" he says, grabbing his bag of Sour Skittles and ripping open a small opening so he can get a few in his hand and pop them in his mouth, wincing a little when the sourness gets the corners of his mouth, but smiling all the same.

Slipping out of her sandals Rikku pulls her legs underneath her. She leans her head on Naruto's shoulder while waiting for the movie to start not wanting to get in the way of his eating. Twirling her glasses around in her far hand she kept trying to push buttons on the armrest between them as if in habit. Realizing what she was doing sometime during the previews the Al Bhed giggled sheepishly. "I ah... guess I'm used to being able to fast forward..."

Naruto munched and winced on his sour candy, sipping his drink at the same time and he knew he would incredibly hyperactive after the movie. Once the movie starts, he makes sure to have his 3-D glasses on, wrapping an arm around Rikku's shoulders.

Snuggling into Naruto's side Rikku watched single-minded wonder. She ooo'ed a bit, finding familiarity with a door that led somewhere unexpected. Like the door at home that lead where you wanted.
Feeling as if she was missing something everyone else seemed to get she whispered tightly for the ninja's ears only. "What's so important about the happy man in red? Why would Jack want his job?"

Naruto almost didn't hear Rikku talking to him, too engrossed into the movie. But he smiles and leans over to her, but doesn't take his eyes off the screen, whispering softly, "His name is Santa Claus and he is important because he is the only one to deliver the presents to children on Christmas!" he tries to explain.

That really did not cover everything, but Rikku understood that presents were nice things. Trelweny sometimes sang a song "Christmas Needs Love to be Christmas" so the Al Bhed decided that this "Santa Claus" must be a very loving person.
"Oh." She says softly in response, paying attention to the movie fully once more. When a jack-in-the-box pops out towards them in 3-D she jumps a little -surprised at the realism of the movie & feeling oddly bereft without any weapons on hand.

Naruto just laughs at the effects, knowing he would have to let Moochi know so they could bring some the others out to see this! He rubs her shoulder though, hoping to bring her some comfort and to let her know he wouldn't let anything happen to her.

The ninja's laughter & support have a calming effect on the Al Bhed. She still wished she had brought her SphereGrid; but she had been afraid what would happen to her fancy dress if she changed like that. How would she get it back? She knew Naruto could take care of both of them; but then she also knew this was only a movie but that did not stop her from being startled.
Rikku finally started to relax. She watched the shy ragdoll with curious interest. And the movie was funny... even if Rikku felt she was missing many of the jokes when the rest of the audience would laugh but she had no noticed anything particularly funny. It did not matter. She was enjoying herself & laughed freely at those spots where she did get the jokes.

Naruto had always loved Nitemare Before Christmas, but he doubly enjoyed it since Rikku was with him. He figured he would have to explain some of the things in the movie, but he would be happy too. He lets out a small sigh, a little sad the movie was now over, but he hoped he and Rikku could come out and see another together, maybe even take Tidus and Yuna along for the ride. He slips his 3-D glasses off his face, rubbing at his eyes as the lights slowly start to come on in the theater, but he stays in his seat so they won't get bunched up into the crowd of exiting movie goers. "So, did you like the movie?" he asks, a little nervous she didn't.

Pushing her glasses up on her head & over the band in her hair Rikku rubs her eyes & smiles. "For sure!!" Then she tilts her head in cute confusion. "But I don't get it... what're Halloween & Christmas? I mean, I know Christmas needs love to be Christmas, but what's the deal with the presents? & Why's Halloween kinda spookyish?"

"Don't worry, I'll explain everything on the way out!" he says, standing up and taking her hand, leading her out the theater. On the way out, he explains the basics of Halloween and Christmas, only stopping once to use the bathroom (soda does that to you) and why both holidays were portrayed the way they were in the movie itself. He wraps his arm around her shoulders loosely as they step outside, and he looks about for Dimitrus. Not seeing the green horse, he spots a little ice cream parlor a few shops down from the theater and he smiles, wagging his tail, "Wanna get some ice cream before we call it a night?" he asks.
