Having lost sight of the elder, Edana kept her eyes on the tiny green spot that was pointed out to her.

Everett looked up at the hawk, after not, surprisingly hearing him. "Dangerously, you fly whoo whoo. What?" Everett said. This Chirra would not be helpful if she blocked out all others from his hearing.

Chael was glad to rest, this hunt was turning out to be quite a job. He was happy just to lie there warming up and drying out. He was not going to close his eyes here in this unknown territory. Rather, he would keep watch while Keelin dreamed.

Keelin woke up early in the morning. "Gah! Mudd! What the...!!" She flailed about then realised she was safe. "Ahh, hello Chael, um, geuss I was dreaming." the fire had smoldered out and was non existant, Pook was playing in the ashes. Keelin put her dress back on, still incredibly dirty but at least it was dry.
"I don't know about you Chael, but I really miss the forest." She sighed. "I wonder how the others are fairing."

Chael said good morning to Keelin and struggled to his hooves, shaking his fur to no effect. The sludge was set hard now. Oh well, at least they were still safe.
"Hmm, well I guess if anyone had found the pulpit, they would have found a way to contact us. So we had better forge on with the search."

Nefar grinned as he suddenly whirled around from behind Edana.
*Boo.* he smirked. *So what makes you think that this plant will cure the firebird? I'm betting it's a wild goose chase created by Puck. He's always up to tricks of some sort. Gave you a riddle, didn't he? Instead of telling you what you needed?*
He flapped lazily around her in circles. *That's always what he does.*

Edana pondered what the elder dragon had to say.
Yes, a riddle we were given. But I must think...Stop the circles, I'll get dizzy.
Keeping aloft, Edana went over what had been said.
Some must backtrack, woods or marsh, grows in the shade.
She said out loud. Suddenly a bright flash came over Edana's face. She must have gotten an idea.
To get home I would backtrack by going through the woods or the marsh. Either way gets me there. The flower is there! I know it!

*Puck's riddles are stupid.* Nefar scoffed. *He'll lead you all over the place and then you'll find nothing. Besides what type of poison was used on the firebird? Did you see a fangmark or something? Or was the silly think dumb enough to eat something that didn't agree with it? He's leading you on a wild goose chase.*
He continued to circle her. Mainly because she had told him to stop. She was clueless also though he'd given her clues. She'd not even wondered how he knew that the bird had been poisoned or even that it had been a firebird that had been. She'd not told him.
With a bit of amusement in his eyes at the entire situation, he said, *Of course, there will be plants in the marsh or woods, but they are harder to reach than those in the glade there. I thought you needed to hurry. Going back doesn't sound like it would be quick to me. So what are the rules of this riddle anyhow? Or this entire adventure for that matter?*

What do you know about this situation, anyways? How did you know what I'm looking for?
She thought hard about the conversation they had, Edana could not remember what it was they had even said. Her mind had been so consentrated on the jack flower that she did not pay attention at all.
Be it wood, or be it marsh
either way, the path be harsh
petaled flowers on the sly
enable wounded things to fly
This is the riddle we have been told. What can you tell me about it? And please stop with the circles, I'm gonna get sick if you don't.

((I've been waiting for Pandara, but I'll soldier on, 4 days have passed.))
Chael headed off across the "land" for want of a better word. He was even more careful about where he put his hooves now, trying to pick a trail that did not involve sinking knee-deep in sludge. "This surely is making our search even slower," he said as he continued to look under things for the elusive pulpit while also concentrating on where he put his hooves.

Everett flew off towards the flowers, as he heard wingbeats in the distance. "Where I am, is that? Aerie, nearby is it?" he hooted, looking over to find a couple of Dragons.

((sorry guys! I've been gone the weekend and forgot to post that I would be gone. Today I have been so tired I have been sleeping sweatdrop Didn't mean to stop the rp...))
Keelin continued on the path with the unicorn and Pook. Pook was bouncing along behind them happily. He seemed to not be affected that much by the sludginess, she guessed it was because this was his element. He seemed so happy here but then again, he seemed happy everywhere as long as he had a full belly of decomposing gook and mold.
She looked in places that normally nothing would grow. She looked under rotted logs and tore away briars with a sickle being careful all the way. She didn't want to find the elusive plant and then notice that she destroyed it too much for it to be of any use. Everyone would kill her

Paige looked stern towards the owl. "silly owl, flying away!" She swooped down towards the Iguion and smiled cheesily at him 'Found it yet pooch!? Oh wait, you can't talk!!!" She taunted him by pulling his ears and then landing on his back. "Onward with the search! Onward I say!!!"
