I have a few ideas, I just need to do some research before I post. I also see too many loopholes in my arguments so i'll post the topic after I plug those up...

*yawns* I'm working on bringing the Guild back to life, and I'm trying to reply to some topics I haven't before, lol. There's some topics I noticed in the ED that really intrests me, some of those being the no spanking law and feral children.

I should be able to be around a bit for a while at least. Whenever it is that I find a new job, relocation will obviously be causing some internet access issues for me. That shouldn't happen for a couple weeks at least, though. Not sure how much I'll be around on Gaia Online in general, but this is definately one place that I tend to check often anyway. whee

Trappestine Since I'm fairly sure I'm the only person so far under the age of 18 and/or not in university, I'm just a tad curious as to what some of you are studying and why you're interested in it. xp I'm under the age of 18. I'm not in university. ... I feel so little... confused

Age isn't always a good measure of aptitutde. It depends on what educational system you've been exposed to and a whole host of other things. By and large though a more limited fraction of young 'uns are eloquent enough to hold more deep discussions on topics aside from pop culture. xd

I still feel tiny, given that everyone seems to be at least a couple of years older than I am. I have no idea why I'm so interested in philosophy, given that my parents seem to hate it. I doubt that public education in Australia is much better than what you've got over there (you're all from America, aren't you?)...

I'm from the states, yes, but it might be an assumption to say we're all from the states here. Its an assumption I often make too, as most users here are from the US but there are several I know from Australia and areas in Europe too.

Hi...I've been surfing around the guild once in a while, it's been kind of...slow? lately... I went away for two weeks and when I came back there was only one new post. xd
I've had to start studying for my exams in the meanwhile, which is why I've been so quiet. But I'm alive...
Anyways, Unspoken Name, I've found that age as very little to do with passion for phylosophy! I became interested in the subject when I was like 11, and never dropped it since. And about countries, there may be more diversity than it seems - I for one am Portuguese. blaugh
