man, that ring looks like a friggen cherrio. how did that happen? whatever. i was pretty surprised with the feather too. i'm great with outlines, but when it gets to the individual hairs (? what's the word?) it tends to start sucking. thanks--i'm glad i could give you a laugh mrgreen by the way, here's a drawing i did in my drawing class. chalk pastels. i copied a photograph (i added color and changed the hair a bit, but it's pretty much a copy) so i'm not going to upload it to DA until i hear back from the model. you will never believe all the CRAP i had to go through just to find some goddamn contact information. -grumble grumble- http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/kirio26/winner.jpgi like it though.

this is pretty nice. you've gotten a lot better with values and shading. it's not so flat anymore. biggrin

I can't see the 2nd image because the red cross just keeps appearing.
The way you've drawn the flower gives it alot of engery...as if it's bursting..I really like that design. 3nodding

I like stencils. they make a pretty effect if you have the time to cut it all out xp

Shadow__Dweller I like stencils. they make a pretty effect if you have the time to cut it all out xp there are two issues with that: i'm a lazy artist, and i can't cut a straight/smooth line. i've tried doing collage things (because i think it's cool looking too), but i always run into "wow these look crappy and i'm tired of doing it" and then i stop. meh.

hum. i don't think we have. and i can honestly say: no, i haven't thought about it, mostly because i'm not exactly sure what graphic design actually is.

The only thing that lets me down about graphic design is the designing...and the part where I would have to design a leflet or something for something which I had no interest in...and I find that difficult, and boring.
