"You remind me very much of myself when I was a young man..I hope you manage to keep that.."
He chuckles as the attack cracks through the pressurized seal he keeps around himself, and sighs as he closes his eyes. For a moment, he reflects on things. It was always like this, wasn't it? A woman with two swords bringing his downfall. And islands. Why was it always Islands? Feh, history tends to repeat itself. Oh well, this time at least, he didn't have to deal with the backlash of a broken heart and soul..but this..yeah. This was going to hurt. He just grins, as the energy washes over his body past his protective seal..
"You haven't seen the last of me. Don't forget, everytime you doubt, everytime you get weak, everytime your convictions waver..I'll be there over your shoulder. Don't forget, One day, I'll be back.."
He crosses his arms, and releases all that energy into the sky...the dome over the island shifting, pulling inward, and it sparks across every island, making random explosions...
"But for now..let's just take the weapons..and war itself..along with us to Hell!"
And then there's the final blast..a crater about two thousand feet across left in his wake..water sinking into it slowly..yeah, island 1 got a facelift..about a third of a mile wide. The clouds lift..the sky goes clear..and the island starts to fade..everything going..calm..

In the face of all the destruction, all of the explosions, she's there, floating, inside a small protective crystal, her arms folded across her chest, sword floating there just in front of her. Her body is tattered, and she looks drained. Slowly, the crystal around her seems to break, and she starts to fall, into the crater that was created in the blast. Her wings spread from her back, but don't manage to buffer her fall, as they fade away from her as well, feathers spreading across the islands in a gust of wind that carries them to float down upon some of the physically scarred areas of the land.
When they blow away again, the areas are healed. And not even a second later, she hits the water in a resounding splash, sinking toward the bottom.

It would seem the ocean was still..but there's something that whizzes from a great distance away, and splashes into the water, only to create a great flash of light. After a moment of quiet, the wind saint's body is lifted from the ocean by what looks like..an eight-headed Gyarados. Have you ever seen an eight-headed Gyarados? Yeah, eight times as cranky looking. Still, it doesn't seem to be harming her at all..it sets one of its heads down, gently setting her to the shore of the island that was restored..and Faust walks out from where he's been hiding all this time. The pokemon returns to its Shadow Ball, and it floats back to the bandoleer around his chest..
"Good work..Yamata no Orochi."

Where she lay was where she lay, her outfit changed, simpler, but still the same. Her hair remained unchanged, as had her eyes. It had finally happened. She'd come fully into her power.
It took quite a bit for her to come to, rolling over in the sand, staring skyward, her blade still clutched in one hand. Murmuring softly.
"I did it.."

Kain hadn't expected the final blast to be that goddamned big. That's why he hadn't moved further away to watch the battle... as it was, the thick pillar of scintillating light provided by Myuutsu's enhanced defenses mixed with the resolute, if stressed, draconic force projected by Kain's tired body - their barrier against the blastwave.
They'd only been a fourth of a mile away at this point, and the only ground left standing was that they were standing upon... and then a curious thing... the whole damn event seemed to have unwritten itself, the land healed as quickly as destroyed.
"Damn sporty." Kain mused to himself, witnessing her arrival back to the shore from the ocean proper.

arrow Somewhere On Island 1
:Medixia watched the whole thing, and she couldn't do a thing to help. She just watched. She had a moment, hesitant as it was, where she was ready to rush in and be the medical expert Seafoam had hired, though only recently. By now, Xin and Giga had put a little bit of distance between themselves and her on account of the poison leaking from her body. The small Abra even had to put up a psychic barrier so he could remain close with the Pichu. Medixia, in the meantime, just watches with wide-eyes as the battle rages and things go from bad to worse to downright dicey. She can't see it too clearly, except for the strange magnification-like effect her poisons are having.:
:On the note of the poisons, the atmosphere around her is so laced with the stuff even a steel type would have a problem near her. It's not just toxicity; it's as if the very air has receded and left Medixia in a dense zone of various poisons. If the Psychic Mistress could see her now, would she berate her weakness? Medixia shakes her head, to anxious to withdraw the poisons at this point. Besides, the afford her an unusual protection. She'd make her way to the shore to help however she could, but she'd do it when she's no danger to those she'd be going to help.:

The island gone, a pale light goes into the sky...almost like a star in the daytime. Interestingly, it splits apart into several spheres of light. One lands on the chest of the Wind Saint..one lands very near the poison-exhaling girl..and several other lights go off in other directions. In any event, where the lights land, there form wooden chests..each of them holding the emblem of a phoenix on the front, done in a black metal. All of them are about three feet long, and resemble a chest o' pirate gold in appearance. What is actually inside..well. They'd have to be opened.

arrow Confuzored on Island 1
razz urely out of instinct, Medixia draws her arms to protect her chest and face, in other words her vitals. In doing so, the poisons her body have been exhaling tighten around her and actually form a perfect sphere, about five meters in radius around her, of pure toxin atmosphere. When nothing happens after the light falls, she looks to where it landed to see the chest. As she blinks, she seems to be aware of both the globe of poison she's created and the fact that the chest actually is the result of the light. She looks to Xin and Giga, still a bit wary of her. It's not exactly safe to be in that ball of poison only Medixia can breath.:
Is it safe?
:She can't hear their reply. She can see them shrug, but she can't here them. Shaking her head, she walks towards and kneels at the chest. She runs her hand over the phoenix emblem and swallows hard. She really can't decide if she should open it. Would it be better to get a bomb squad? Medixia looks at the swirling poisons around her, tightened into that sphere. What are the properties of this...thing to begin with? Being a Trainer, it's not like she's mastered her powers or even come to understand them. This has to be some instinctual thing, then.:
The poisons responded to my will to defend myself. Didn't they?
:Again, she can't hear Xin or Giga reply. She can hear little Pokemon cries, but she's so used to hearing their voices. They still do respond. They again shrug. They don't appear to know... Closing her eyes, she decides that "nothing ventured; nothing gained" might just be relevant in this situation. She slowly cracks the chest open...:
((Is the Island gone or not eek ? In any case... Surprises + Medixia = Yay for bad combinations! :p ))

arrow Chest: Link finds..Gay Fuel!
(Island's still there. ;p)
Interestingly, the chest doesn't contain anything too bad..although there is a moment of possible surprise when an illusionary version of Ackbar leaps out of the chest and yells
"IT'S A TRAP!"
Then dissipates into harmless smoke. Har har. Julias always did have a messed up sense of humor. But when you have eternity, what do you expect? regardless, when the smoke clears, there are three things in the chest. The first seems to be a small box. Inside of this box, which is rather ornately carved, made of a single piece of ivory, are ten little vials of clear liquid. Written on the inside of the box, which is nicely lined with red velvet, are the words "Universal Antidote". According to the instructions, a few drops wil cure any venom that isn't from something divine in nature, like say..a scorpion god or something. IS there even a scorpion god? Who knows. Essentially, it's just in case the poor girl loses control of her power and hurts someone by accident. Antidote for all! Though it will run out someday. Each vial is about standard lab test-tube size, meaning there's a lot of applications if just few drops works.
The second thing is a bracelet, a golden bracelet, in the image of two twined serpents, with emerald eyes. The purpose of this is to add power and control. It's essentially a focus band for trainers. This one seems to be specifically made for the girl herself. He's such a nice guy, that Julias. While it doesn't let one instantly control their powers, it lets them isolate their abilities, and focus on training them one at a time, while supressing and staunching the others. A focus band, or more accurately, a sort of 'Choice Band'. It adds a modicum of control and helps the trainer train, though the band is only so workable. It has a lot of limits..which will be found if it is used.
The last thing is an earring. A simple earring, in fact, gold, set with a single emerald. Upon closer examination, one would find that the earring that holds the emerald is a serpent's head, the gemstone set in its mouth. This is in a small box. A note in the box reads; 'Sometimes we cannot choose what we are given..but we can choose what we give to others in regards to us. Use this well when the time comes. -J' The earring is actually an Earring of Proof against Poison; when worn, it confers total immunity to every form of poison known short of certain varieties used by high level beings. It's a present of sorts; a gift for Medixia to give to someone important to her, should her venom ever be so powerful it prevents her from touching someone. There's a small book as well, detailing the history of a race so venomous that they cannot touch anyone or the one so touched will die..the Ermordenung, they were called. A sad tale it is, recanting the lamentable fate of such creatures..and how while they are immune to all other venoms known, the touch of their own kind is as deadly to them as to anything else. In a sense, it is a message that even should things go out of hand..he has provided something to shield tragedy.
'No one should ever be without the touch of another living thing. Even in my cruelty, I would not wish that on a single being'..the only footnote made in the book.

arrow Near Heart Attack!
:Illusionary image or not, Medixia still screams and tightly closes her eyes while curling up into a near fetal position. She also appears to be holding her breath to try to force herself not to faint. When she can no longer hold her breath, she exhales it rather loudly and looks dumbfounded at the chest. She has tears welling in her eyes as she slams her right fist onto the ground, which promptly turns to something rather marshy. The poison around her becomes denser as she takes a look at what's inside. As she opens the book and sees the footnote, she takes careful note of what the atmosphere around her is like...and what happened to the ground just a small part of bare flesh touched. A single knuckle and a small, centimeter radius of earth turned to marsh.:
In this state, even a steel-type couldn't touch me...
:Medixia looks at Xin and Giga. They can't come within five meters of her right now. She can only sigh melancholy. Perhaps that band could teach her about this poisonous orb; though, even she realizes it can't help her master it. She places the items back into the chest and closes it only to pick it up and signal for her two companions to follow, from a safe distance. Her destination? She's heading to the shore where she can barely make out two possible members of Seafoam. At least they appeared to have been defending the Island. Hopefully, she'll make it to the unconscious one and find only minor injuries to subdue.:
I am a medic, after all!

That blast had gone even through the planes themselves. Munashii had done all possible to avoid the explosion..the ghost barrier proved effective, but now, Munashii is all tired out. Finally phasing back into reality, the Ghost Master sits on the beach, breathing heavily. There's no denying it. Even with all the power available..just not strong enough. There's a long sigh behind the Nihilus mask..and the figure gazes up to the sky..watching the clouds..

arrow Chest: Link finds..SPARTAAAAA!
When the chest opens, a tornado rises up out of the box, causing it to rattle and shake, and the tornado opens up into the image of a great phoenix, which bursts into flame..before vanishing. Now that was pretty cool. When the wind is done blowing, inside of chest are three things. The first of these is actually a wristband, and on that wristband is a pressure plate. There are runes along it, and the word 'Minerva' scrawled in a delicate, feminine hand. The band looks very very old..yet it sparkles with its gemstones in the silver settings as if it was just polished that very day.
The second thing is a small box with a pair of silver rings inside. At least, they look like silver. In reality, they're made of an ore from another plane. They have no etchings..no runes..but they feel warm. In the box is a small scroll. It says simply 'The rings of eternal heart. When two people who truly love each other wear them, the rings allow them to travel to one another's side when one of them is in danger. In a pinch, it allows one love to transfer life energy to the other, to save his lover's life. If the rings work, and you can feel your love's heartbeat on your finger gently each evening, you know their love is true. The ring requires 24 hours of wear to begin working.'
The last thing is an ornate box, metal, gold and black, with gemstones all over it, of many colors. It sparkles in the remaining daylight, and the value of the stones alone makes it worth a fortune. Still..when one opens it up, the song 'faraway promise' begins to play, and it shows a couple dancing on an ever changing background..the seasons changing as they dance..though their faces seem to be hidden. Runes on the bottom say, 'When a couple makes a promise of love, while holding this treasure, it is their faces that appear in the vision. Once this is imprinted, it can never be changed. Pick your love carefully, or the memory this song brings may impart sadness instead of joy. I made this for myself a long time ago..but I never used it. Keep it safe. -J'

As she sorts through the items one by one, she sighs briefly at the music box, setting it to one side gently, as the dual rings are slid into a pocket.
It's the bracelet she actually is more interested in, which is lifted from it's place, and carefully secured around her wrist. What it is, she isn't certain, but it has no feel of evil about it, so it can't be a trap.

When worn the first time, the pressure plate glows and seems to depress itself. The gemstones light up, and an aura flares around the bracelet and the wearing party. The image of a woman clad in brilliant silver armor appears behind the Wind Saint. The woman has beautiful blonde hair and striking blue eyes, set in the hard look of a warrior born and bred to lead armies. The armor has a white cape that flows behind her, and a wind from the past seems to cause her hair to sway like spun gold. She falls into a stance and reaches for her side, and she calls out as she draws her own blade..
"Spirits of darkness, release this troubled soul! Show her the light found in a woman's heart!"
And the woman explodes into a bright white light that starts at the Wind Saint's feet..and works its way upward, spreading a beautiful warmth over her body..a warmth that feels almost like a hug one would recieve from a mother figure. When all is said and done, there is a brilliant flash, and the same armor the woman had on is now on the Wind Saint instead; glowing like a beacon of hope past a thousand years of darkness. It's the [Armor of Minerva]..an armor that will only serve a woman warrior..
