Jet Li's Once Upon a Time in China movies. They sparked my interest and got me into the philosophical aspects of the martial arts.

I had a lot of friends that took different styles. They were always playing around with it and it looked like fun.

Wolf Nightshade I fought a lot as a kid and loved martial arts shows that I would see on discovery. I liked history and I was always into ancient arms and armor I read books on martial arts essentially the samething for me, just i need to include that my brother is an a*****e: hes pompous, arrogant, egotistical, and narcesisstic. he always used to order me around cuz he was older and stronger, i was sick of it, so i started Xingyi, which is based on the concept of "offense as defense," with explosive and powerful movements. now he cant even touch me

DBZ and Power Rangers =P. It was kinda funny when I look back at it know (I joined about 9 years ago, when I was 6), the first time I was in my Master's office (he was a Sifu back then, and had a lot more hair, lol) I sat on the couch, with my arms on the back thinking "I'll be a black belt in a month!", boy, was I wrong. I was in it for 5 years, learned a lot of discipline and changed my preservation on everything. I had to leave for 4 years because my mom couldn't drive me to my Kwoon anymore since she got a job. So I had an empty hole in me for a long time (about 4 years), until about a month ago, I got back into it, and to my surprise, they let me keep my belt, even though I had forgotten all of my forms, I just had to be in the beginners class until they thought I was ready to move up to the intermediate class, and then finally to the advanced class. So lately I have been more happy and active, not just sitting around at my computer when I'm not at school.

Well, I was thinking about it for a while, but since I moved around a lot, my parents wouldn't let me. The one thing that inpsired me was seeing other people do it. I thought it would alos be a good thing to do so I started doing Martial Arts. I guess it was juts be wanting to become a stronger person.
