The situation was quickly approaching hopeless, as the large stallion wandered aimlessly through the rocky maze, barely able to see three feet in front of hhim due to the pouring rain. "Miss Luna? Miss Myoa?! Where are you?" he stopped a moment to cough violently, leaning slightly against a rock as he caught his breath. If he stayed out in this much longer, he was going to get sick... but he couldn't just stay inside when the two mares were out here. That decided, he pressed on through the storm.

Myoa settled her thoughts quickly. Something about her had brought back memories that Luna didn't want. However, Myoa didn't know why, nor what those memories were.
She flew back down, and saw Luna lying collasped on the floor. "Oh!" Myoa cried, "Are you okay?" She tried to help the aqua mare up. Whether she liked it or not, Myoa was now Luna's friend.

The stubborn oceanic mare shifted quickly so that she fell away back to the ground. She backed away, eyes dark, clouded with some form of spite. "Get away from me!" She spat forcing herself up. This was her fault after all. If she hadn't come Luna would still be dry. Just as she got to her full height she heard someone call her name from somewhere in the distance. Without waiting another hearts beat she ran as fast as she could to the welcoming and worried voice. 'Please...help me...' She thought panicing in fear of what her own thoughts may make her do.

He could see the dim outline of another approaching through the heavy rain, golden eyes squinting to get a good look at it. "Miss Luna?" he called, taking another hopeful step forward. Indeed it was Luna, he noticed after a moment with a large wash of relief, but she wasn't slowing down. Bracing himself for the impact, he let her crash into him, curling his body around her smaller one to take the brunt of the fall as the two went skidding across the slippery stone, he on his back and she on his stomach.

"Oh! Shadow, Luna!" Myoa rushed foward. "Are you okay?" She skidded to a stop around them. Uhh. They were in a most uncomfortable position. There didn't seem to be any blood, but Myoa wasn't sure about any broken bones.

The azure mare just lay there, eyes scrunched up in pain. She opened her eyes parshly to gaze down at the warm yet, at the same time, frozen body below hers. She shook her head slightly, so this is what it had come to. In her panic, her rage, her confusion, she had hurt him. She moved to stand but her legs wouldn't come out from under her so she instead bowed her head and nudged into the leopard stallion's neck nibbling at a few stray strands of his mane hoping for a reaction to show he was alright.
Her eyes darkened as she heard the voice that threatened her sanity again. She turned her head sharply, still holding a few strands in her mouth, to glare at the winged mare. "Why...?" She asked darkly tears threatining to stain her face once again. "Why do you do this to me?!"

He shifted on the unyielding stone ground lightly with a grunt, attempting to catch his breath from the sudden impact. "I'm all right..." he mumbled softly, feeling the slight tug on his mane by the mare before him. "Don't... don't blame her, miss Luna... miss Myoa just wants to help us... I can tell," he spoke softly, opening one golden eye to look on the azure mare with a gentle smile. "Didn't I tell you before? I'm here, there's nothing you have to be afraid of."

Myoa looked gratefully at Shadow, then glanced at Luna. "I do not know why I remind you of things you do not wish to be reminded of, nor why you do notwishto be reminded of them. However, if you ever need someone to blame or vent on, I'll be here." She waited paitently for the mare's response.

"I do not want to vent!!!" Luna's eyes harshened further and she looked as though she was about to attack but decided Shadow was more important. She looked down at him eyes pained. Again her heart felt torn in two by his words. He should agree with her, even if they had just met. After all this mare was the cause of all of this, wasn't she.
"Shadow..."Her voice was whining and pathetic as she lay her head on him. "Why...?"

"Miss Luna..." he hesitated a moment, glancing up towards Myoa for a moment. "I don't know what's wrong, but we're both here to help you..." He felt helpless again, and he hated it. He honestly had no idea what was bothering her, or why she was taking it out on Myoa, and he couldn't help her as long as that was the case. "Miss Myoa wants to help you, too, can't you see that?"

Myoa didn't know what to do. Her help was unwanted, but it was unlike her to ignore someone in need. This had never happened to her before. What was she supposed to do?

Lunathiel tried to pull away from him, shaking a bit in disbelief. It was getting to be too much for her, everyone was asking her to accept help. That meant thinking of things she didn't want to remember. It was almost as if they were trying to get her to snap, and it worked.
"He LEFT me, alright!!!" She shrieked, ears pinned back tears leaking from her eyes no matter how she fought it. "He left me on the mountain! He left me alone forever!!!" Everything was getting to be too much for her. She wanted to get up, she wanted to beat something to peices, she wanted to die. As she still couldn't seem to move she settled for ramming her head into Shadow's chest a little harder then she should have.

Golden eyes widened in a bit of surprise as a pained grunt was wrenched from his lungs when the azure mare headbutted his chest, but he simply curled his larger form around her petite one protectively, nosing her forelocks away from her eyes. "Shh, miss Luna, you're not alone anymore, remember? We're both here for you, and we won't leave. Not for anything."

Tears sprang to Myoa's eyes. Her own past flashed through her head. She no longer felt guilty, nor angry, only a deep saddness from losing a loved one. "My father beat my mother to death. She died protecting me..." She sighed. "But I"m not alone now, and neither are you. As friends we'll stick together, all three of us."

There words were not helping her in the least. She knew she wasn't alone, she had known for quite a while now. That did not stop the hurt in the least though. Speaking of hurt, her stomach felt like it was trying to kill her. Without warning she fell off Shadow's warmth clenching her stomach. "I'm...hungry..." she murmered. It didn't matter how angry or betrayed she felt at the moment, she needed food and she didn't care who knew it.
