I hate it when right before the competition/concert I have a dream of me playing horrid and messing up ruining the whole show. Then when the comp./conc. comes around I am terrified that I'll mess up. Glad I haven't had a dream like that this concert season. I"m the piano player and I have a solo. The music is Vivace and cut time. stressed

My strangest band dream was definitely this one: We were about to leave for the end-of-the-year trip to Orlando ("Band Vacation", I call it). But, this time our director wanted us to bring our instruments, but I left it at my house. So I had to run all the way next door to get it. (Somehow, my house and the band hall were next to each other) But, it took me forever to get there. O.o So, when I finally got my flute and got back to the band hall, the bus was gone and there was an old pick-up truck there. The band director was in the drivers seat, he told me to get in a baritone case so we could hurry up and catch the bus. So, I did so. (SOMEHOW, I fit in a baritone case in my dream.) And when we caught the bus a few minutes later and I finally got on it, I realized that my flute had somehow disappeared in the process.

My only band dream was I was walking tho\rough the band hall and I seethis girl who is also a flute player. She is smashing a clairanet to bits with a large hammer. She smiles maliciously at me and says, "I just LOVE fixing other peoples' instruments!"

Oh this one was really nice...
I was playing Resdient Evil 4 all weekend it wasn't scary mind you...until I had this weird demented dream where my fellow band members where zombies who came at me with their instruments. I than got stabbed in the neck with a flute and than died... neutral The only funny part was when my friend was the merchant and ran around like a lunatic offering me potatoe guns to defend myself.

i had a dream not to long ago where my flute friend took my flute and was throwing the end piece across the room. i was yelling at her to stop throwing it around because i thought it was going to break in half. but it didn't even dent o.O she was laughing at me because i was crying (in my dream). ya...it was pretty weird.

I had a dream that someone took the lower part of my oboe, and I couldn't find it. Somehow I was able to play all my notes, though.

I don't have many dreams ABOUT band, just dreams about band people. Like, last week I had a dream some dude was trying to kill me, so I went and hid in a bookcase (o.O I know...odd) and there were band people in it, and I asked a guard girl if she had finished my copy of The Phantom of the Opera and she said no, cause she had to practice for the dumline competition next weekend. I have such fun dreams ^^

Erin Sovenya I don't have many dreams ABOUT band, just dreams about band people. I have such fun dreams ^^ I have odd dreams like that where band people are either making out with me or trying to make out with or we doing something as equally odd.

I had a dream that our band was on a school bus driving to a game, and it started raining and we skid off a bridge and died. Then we were all at a big table eating food in a place we didn't recognize and I had blue hair. Then we found out that God had recruited us for Heaven's marching band, and we were going into a contest against Hell! It was so awesome! We won. whee Heh, i told my band director the next morning and he laughed a lot.. sweatdrop

I had a dream the night before one of our contests. i dont remember it all, but I do remember that we were all playing vedgetables. I was playing a stalk of celery and my friend was playing a carrot. Yeah...i don't know why...I mean...i dont even like celery xp

Silver Gryphon I've had dreams where I've been in orchestra completely naked, and nobody cared. I remember realizing in the dream that I didn't have clothes on and trying to hide behind my cello. O_o I've also had dreams with various things happening in the band room, usually not band-related. Usually it's people from music class that appeared in my dreams. Once I dreamed I was in a diner and there was a jukebox and when I looked at the music list, everything was by people I knew from music class. Unfortunately, the jukebox was broken so I never got to hear what they didn't really write. LOL that sound funny!

i have been practically crazy about band since i started getting good at it. i guess that was the point at which i started to dream about band. it is the only thing that i am really good at and its really fun.
i once had this dream that we were about to go on the field for our competition and we were all so nervous that we switched shows. i really dont know how that's possible but remember, this is a dream. anyways, we were supposed to play pirates of the caribbean and we ended up playing aladdin.
this was a crazy dream because our uniforms had all changes to match the show and there were all these fans for our band and it was so cool. so the next day i told my band director that GOD came to me in a dream and told us to play aladdin for our marching show. but he said no and that i had been out on the field too much.
