I was thinking the same thing, Nona. You just beat me to saying it. And the guild wide contests are just to decided who should be the Contest Champions of each region. The top four in placement would be given that position, then the second would be for our members to either tektek, or draw their idea for the leaders of the contest in each of the contest halls and include a small bio and a list of their pokemon and their appeal strengths(Which type of contest it excels in).
We'd have to get sprite made up for unique ribbons for each towns contest winners, but we could come to that as we have winners for each region. And the contest battles wouldn't be hard either. Rather than making our members battle straight out, with their Pokemon fainting as a deciding factor, they also need to try to reduce their opponents "battle appeal" from, say...30 points, with each of their moves reducing said points by their appeal score. And they have...iunno, 10 rounds to do so in, with the attacks damage cut by 50% to reduce the likelyhood of causing the Pokemon to faint before the battle appeal hits 0.

I think that sounds like a good idea. =)
Sprites should be fairly easy. I could probably do them once we have an idea on what we want each to look like.
And the reduced power of attacks is definitely a good idea. That way whether a person wins or not won't solely be based on whether they have a strong Pokemon.
Should we have category-only contests (cool, tough, smart, etc?) where you can only use those types of moves, or should we do it all-inclusive. I know the guild-wide contests would be all-inclusive, but should each leader be a different type (we'd need five overall leaders then)?

That's what I was thinking five leaders for. Each leader specializes in a different field of the contest appeals.
The Champion can decide for themselves what kind of contest they want their opponents to compete against them in.
For example, Kaya likes Grass types, so if he were a Contest Champion, he might make his opponents compete in a contest that limits entries to the usage of Grass types. Or, since he thinks Grass Pokemon are pretty, he may limit the contest to Grass Pokemon, Cute and Beauty moves in order to make it as difficult as possible. *Yes, I know there are only a handful of Grass attacks that are Beauty and Cute type but still, just an example*

Kay, so 5 leaders, with one champion per region, right? Sounds good to me. =3
I'd also like the Champions to be able to choose stipulations on competing with them. =) We'll just probably have to have them confirm their requirements with mods first, so we don't end up with requirements that are too hard to obtain. ;D

Well, obviously. Even the President has restrictions on what he can do. As does Congress.
So limiting our Champions from being too hard to compete against shouldn't be that hard for us. *Goes looking through his old D&D style summoning scrolls for the one labeled 'Henna'*

Yeah, the Contest has kinda been a work in progress for the longest time. xD Hopefully we can launch it fairly soon. =3

Question! Umm, In the Sinnoh region I noticed there isn't a Snow Temple. The place that has Regigigas located in it. Maybe that would be cool to add, sept like make it a challange to newbies like myself can't get to the top, have it so you need to know Strength or rocksmash or both. And, well the first floor will be open, but with a restricted amount of diffrent poke'mon were the higher levels have better poke'mon. 83 Ahuh ahuh... What do you think?

One major factor, because newbies normally do not have access to Snowpoint City. Mt. Coronet is supposed to require Strength and Rock Smash to pass through in order to Reach SNowpoint, therefore the Snow Temple has no purpose for newbies, and also because it is devoid of Pokemon for the most part aside from Regigigas itself.

well how about you add your own town and gyms on the guild, since there are pokemon types that dont have a gym, or that only have one gym *coff flying, poison, ground ((there isnt one)) dragon do i need to go on type coff* ((long coff!!)) if its to much work for you guys you could get some one to help with the names, pokemon teams, map, and stuff, this would be the perfect opportunity for a new mod *coff me coff* wink (( plz! im already thinking bout the names of cities and gym leadres!! also, there could b more tha just 8 gyms... if you aprove of it that is )) wink Also if you acept
