"I will not be leading you I have other matters to attend to." Roan muttered dismissively and shook his head, lifting his hand briefly to touch the clamp in his hair to ensure that it was still fixed in place before returning to his alchemy, "However, someone will be down shortly to escort you out of the sanctuary." He added as a bell sounded below them and footsteps could soon be heard within the corridor.
Within moments, the door of the small infirmary opened and the hooded figure, almost of a wraith-like quality entered; its ethereal and yet flaming eyes staring towards what appeared to be its charge for the time being. For confirmation, it glanced towards the alchemist who waved a hand dismissively and then it gave a nod.
"Blindfold..." It rasped, motioning to the black cloth that had somehow materialised on the bedside table, "Put it on."

Roger visably flinched as this wraith of a man entered the room. His eyes were locked onto those portals of fire and shadow, seemingly drawn to them, even as he tried to look away. He sat there, frozen for quite a few breaths, before his hand reached over towards the blindfold, without looking. He swallowed down the bile that was churning in his throat. Thoughts of executions could hardly be held back by the man.
The world turned dark, and he let out a heavy breath, as the black cloth slid over his eyes, taking his sight away from those beastly eyes. Only to feel the cold terror of helplessness, as he tied down the blindfold tightly. He knew they wouldn't let him tie it loose enough it might fall of, after all. The man was shaking, and despite Dune's words and actions, he couldn't imagine that he would get out of this alive...

Satisfied, the wraith-like being wrapped its arms around the man and hauled him to his feet. Strangely enough, his grasp was not cold but rather it was difficult to discern exactly what temperature he was - his grasp was firm which indicated that in someways he was strong and one could assume that he was alive in some form but it was hard to tell exactly what he was or how he existed.
Nevertheless; after a few moments Roger was led out of the sanctuary, the doors flying shut behind him in the process. The peculiar man careening down the alleyways as he used his speed in an attempt to disorientate the injured being he now guided - nevertheless he did heed someone's call for he not only moved Roger from the east of the city but he also dropped him off within the meadows close by to the road in which Dune had taken to return home previously.
"You can remove it now..." The voice rasped before the man leapt into the shadows and vanished from view.

Roger had been hard pressed to keep up, stumbling many times, and only remaining on his feet, do to the pull of the wraithlike man, and his strong grip on his arm. As it was, he was completely lost in moments. Not that he would have wanted to go back. He had the distinct feeling that the 'doctor' there had clocked him, and would do so again and again for some reason... and this man, well, Roger would rather stay as far away as possible from him.
Roger stumbled and landed hard on his a**, at the end of the journey. It didn't take long, for the man to remove the blindfold. His eyes were wide, and he backed away from the wraithlike being, "Please... don't kill me..." he asked, frankly too frightened to grovel, almost frozen solid. He could see they were out, away from witnesses... and his mind couldn't get away from that man's appearance, who he was associated with... and just how theives guilds and rogues tended to operate.

"I have my orders and they are not to kill you." The being responded before the black figure darted back towards the city of Durem, the material of his robes billowing out almost as if he were a wraith in the process. That being said, as soon as he left Roger was alone with nobody else to talk to; he had requested to leave and he had been granted that leave - a little sooner than anticipated no less but he had been given that and the chance to escape from his master.
A little further away upon the plains, the ninau that Dune had used previously appeared to be grazing but there were not other signs of life elsewhere apart from the birdsongs.

Renault entered the town of Durem coming from his home near the Great Wall of Gambino.
"Hmm....I wonder if anyone is here," Renault said as he held Sakis in one hand and petting Rukia, his Nieken, who got them there, in the other.
Ren walked around the city only to see the streets very busy with many people crowding around the nearby shops and the events they had that day. Renault's clothes blew in the soft wind and he shivered even on the warm day because of Sakis. Renault placed Sakis in a big enough pouch on Rukia. Rukia didn't mind at all.
He wondered is Shadow was here. Renault started to look around and saw no one he knew in sight.

The woman simply gave a sigh as she stalked away from the alleyway with her head bowed - she acted in such a manner that gave the illusion that she had simply turned in the wrong direction and upon reaching the main city centre she seemed to regain her composure and to peer around the bustling city thoughtfully.
Unfortunately, her expression remained hidden by the venecian mask but the twinkle of mischevious within her eye indicated that she was up to no good. The problem was, that mischief in the mind of this woman often meant something along the lines of the occasional theft and a practical joke both of which she was in the mood to do in order to acquire further funds so that she could continue to indulge her love for fine arts and precious trinkets.
Needless to say, even now the sky was beginning to approach dusk but this was when her kind thrived and as a nocturnal creature her true skills were more prominent in the night...

Now what to do, what to do? She grimaced as no answer came to her and after a few moments she turned her gaze in the general direction of the hidden forest - that strange crystal still called to her and despite herself she found her legs moving in that direction, it was only when she reached the gate that she scolded herself and stalked back inside the city once more.
If she was going back then she was going to require plenty of supplies, whether they be for entertainment or for food in the accursed place. One thing was for certain, she was not going to eat bugs and she was not going to drink spring water...if she was going to have to deal with a continual onslaught of visitors to the place then she was going to need to be in a jolly mood and for that she required one thing - alcohol.
It was therefore no surprise that she came up with a plan to construct her own make-shift brewery in the middle of the forest purely for her enjoyment...

In order to construct a make-shift brewery a number of items were required. These items were often hard to attain but as she continued about her daily (or rather nightly) business she was able to get her hands on the proper equipment and even th ingredients she would need to be able to make a sufficient supply of alcohol for her personal consumption - she was very happy to say the least.
A small smile lurked upon her lips behind the peculiar venecian mask and as she gathered her thrings by the exit to the city she released a light whistle of calling towards the ninau in the distance and waited patiently for him to move towards her, nodding briefly as she slowly but surely began to attach each piece of equipment onto his back by use of makeshift straps - she would have to walk, it was inevitable.
Nevertheless, that thought did not deter her and as she continued with her strange activity she began to hum, planning out the most appropriate route to the forest in the process.

Ourania entered the outskirts of Durem just before it was officially afternoon, crystal hidden inside a knapsack at her side in case she happened upon any thieves on the way through town. The novice summoner wasn't certain that Elysians could, in fact be stolen, but she would take no chances.
She stopped to examine the buildings for a moment, always amazed to see the towering monstrosities reaching ever upward as though grasping for the heavens themselves. Ourania could recall trying to peer at the tops as a child, leaning back so far that she lost her equilibrium and fell to the ground. She shook her head, grinning in rememberance, when a scent reached her nose and made her mouth water.
She found the little cafe after following the smell of bread and pastries for a few blocks, backtracking when the wind tricked her and carried the aroma down a different path. It was a surprisingly small building, made of old red-brick and wedged between two skyscrapers that made it even more insignificant by comparison. It had a handpainted sign that was chipping slightly at one side where water-damage had been done, but it still clearly read Shade's Cafe in old swirled letters. She tilted her head curiously, frowning thoughtfully at the odd title while wondering if that was the original owner's name.
She looked into the open glass windows, sighting instantly the assortment of baked goods and pleasant old-world ambiance the interior supplied. The floors were all wood, much like her home, and there were small tables set up with vases of hybrid flowers. The counter had a display of muffins, breads, and danishes that looked as enticing as they smelled, and before the summoner knew it she was in the cafe, peeking into the glass case to see what it was she wanted to feast upon.
Ourania ordered herself a strawberry danish along with a cup of sparkling water to wash it down. She sat outside in the vintage tables as she ate, admiring the artistry of the architecture and muttering the miniscule facts she knew about the city to Fiore.
"That building over there was actually built in tribute to the first summoner, one whose name was lost throughout the centuries. It was actually a temple before it was industrialized... I think its a bank now..."
She felt a sense of sadness from her crystal, potent enough to make her lose interest in the last few bites of her exquisite danish. "People forget, I think, they forget and move on without learning anything. The summoners were important because they could bring about the advent of your kind, but as you vanished from this plane, so did they."
As the words left a numb sensation on her lips, the summoner was left to contemplate her silent companion's feelings. She watched the bubbles in her water catch the smog-filtered sunlight and wondered when Fiore would have a form more suited to interaction.
The novice rose, depositing a tip on the table for the waitress to collect before continuing on her way through the city.

It was a long, winding path from Durem to Barton Town and Ourania's feet were beginning to feel it. She stopped once to sit on the side of the dirt trail and rub her aching soles, muttering to herself all the while. "They need some sort of public transportation to town." she informed her Elysian as she stood, slipping the sandals back on and continuing on her way.
The smell of Durem, primarily exhaust and a debatably clean populace, was fading in the distance and the sun was at its highest point in the sky, making her shadow shrink down until it sought refuge directly under her feet. She wiped her brow with her spare hand, eyes narrowing to see if Barton had come into view yet. She saw the smallest tendril of smoke, possibly from a home, and sighed deeply; she shouldn't have dallied in Durem for so long, now she was behind schedule and Na'ir was still alone with a household of hungry pets.
She walked on, ignoring the burning of blisters forming while cursing her choice of shoes. She focused on objects on the trail, waiting until she was astride them before picking another small thing to help propel herself forward. Before long she sensed eyes on her, and looked up to see a small girl watching her from the outskirts of a town. It took a moment for her to register the fact that she had finally made it.
Exit to Barton Town

Resting by the gates of Durem, the still appeared to be in deep contemplation when it came to transporting her goods into the forest - granted if she had of been a mage then she would have teleported them there but unfortunately she wasn't and therefore she was going to have to use other means of transporting it all there - the first idea was to use her equine companions and the second had been her draconic companions but then she had developed a distinct fear...
What if they ate/drank all the ingredients? She couldn't have that and therefore she was still stuck in the middle of her dilemma, her lips pursed in thought and her arms folded across her chest as she at least attempted to solve the puzzle before her.
It was still evident that it would take a while.

(Entering from my Camp thread)
Junkan sniffed the air, his nose crinkling, and his eyes narrowing. He was close to Durem, it wasn't really that long a trip, and he had covered the distance quickly, with barely any exertion. He looked down once more, at the hatchet near his hip. Was it really that important? He could make due for a few more weeks, couldn't he?
Probably, but probably not. The man sighed, a low, grumbling noise, as he continued forward, hunching over, so he would seem at least a little shorter, a little more 'human'ish. He knew better than to not watch himself, around human, elves, and other 'superior' types.
He sniffed again. The scent was still there, not moving. Maybe a guard of some kind. The man hardly wanted to deal with guards, but, well, there was little choice.
The still massive looking man, approached the gate, in open ground, a frown on his face, showing his general discomfort.

Still otherwise preoccupied with her own thoughts, the woman couldn't care less about the approaching figure and after a few moments she began to murmur to herself. The murmuring sounded like complete jibberish to all but herself and after a few moments she released another heavy sigh and turned her gaze skywards - it was then that her eyes widened in realisation as small reminders popped up within her head.
Oho! She knew how she could get everything into the forest and it wouldn't involve negotiating with any living being to get it there, in fact she would simply order it to be done and it would be.
"Haha!" She called in delight as she began to rummage in the pockets of her jacket for the item in which she now sought.

The man approached, his eyes little more than slits as he watched the woman. She wasn't like any sort of guard that he had ever seen. But she seemed crazed, perhaps stricken with some sort of fever, or plague. The man trembled despite himself, as he stopped wide of the woman, staring at her, and the load she had near her.
"Better wait than die..." he muttered to himself, his arms crossing as he waited, not exactly patiently. His foot was tapping the entired time, and he was itching and fidgeting quite a few times. He kept his eyes on the woman, and cleared his throat. Waiting was never his strong point.
"You crazy, sick, something?" he bellowed out at her. His voice sounded more like the grinding of stones against each other, rather than any human accent.
