(I'm heading to Sekigahara so i'll be "absent for a while" just to get the timeline right... wink *
Kira had prepared his things, stopping at a few "select" places for "supplies" and made for Sekigahara, in the west. The trek was slow and quiet. The birds were quietly singing their morning song and the sun filtered through the many overhanging trees. Kira was at peace, this was trully harmony that the whole country should feel...

Chaos' eyes opened immediately as she touched the roof. The perimeter had been breached. His Shigen began to search quickly and then he slowly rose from the desk. He walked over to the men of power and moved them silently from the window. He hid them in a smaller room and let his own aura cover and hide them from an experienced Shigen.
Chaos slowly stepped back to about the middle of the room his hands on Masamune which was touching the floor in front of him and in fact very large now that it was seen. He lifted it slightly from its' sheath and let it rest there as he waited. He watched her aura carefully. He made his aura seem unaware and tired. As it had been the whole time he was asleep and awake. He wanted her to know he was there but not that he was waiting for her...he wanted her to come in and test her skills...or defeat her to create a better place for the Meiji.
Chaos stood in silence and was almost not visible. Except for his golden eyes...they were the legendary ones that few men had seen and lived to tell about it. It had been warned by many that they were the eyes of one who had mastered the ability to be an assasain and a bushido. He stood unblinking as he waited. His yukata and body seemed to simply fade in with the rest of the room, but his eyes had an aura of their own when looked into. One of knowing and skill, they were eyes that had learned things that shouldn't be, yet it could be seen that deep down he was purer than most. Despite the taint of blood on his hands his purity rivaled a babe's...

Yumi slowly moved towards the window, there when she was just about to jump in through it she stopped. Why was everything to quiet? The security around Yamanaka was supposed to have been intensified, so it was way too quiet. Even though Yumi was starting to have serious suspections about the whole project now, there was no turning back. She stepped through the window. The second she landed on the floor in the room she drew both her katanas. There was a swishing sound and a glimmering of metal, then everything was quiet again. Without moving she looked around in the room. Then suddenly she noticed it, two eyes fixed upon her. Her respone was immediate, she stepped back and crossed her swords in front of her waiting for the opponent to show himself.
((Wah... I'm not supposed to even be here... I have too much to do sweatdrop ))

He stopped when his body was mostly in the light but his face stayed hidden. Power and animosity seemed to seep from him continually. His voice sounded like that of someone like a child...definately not older than 18 but older than 13...who would let in such a child into the revolution...and how could he handle such a huge blade. "Now I face the woman who hides as a man and forgets herself...You should leave and not come back here saying they were gone...I don't wish to hurt you and you won't be able to get to those you seek...not that I care about that man but I've been given the duty to protect him...I'm not a good bodyguard anyways..." He moved his right hand and rested it on the handle which was extremely long to balance the blade length slightly. There was no threat behind the movement but instead only a warning. Those golden eyes shown slightly in the darkness watching her and his Shigen on full alert. He was ready for not just her but multiple attackers as well.

"If you don't wish to hurt me you'll have to step aside, since there's no turning back for me. You can't be as naive as to think they'll actually believe me if I say he wasn't here. I'm not the only on watching this man you know, you must also have noticed that, since you seem to be pretty good at noticing everyones true intentions." Yumis voice was cold, she breathed slowly and heavily. "You must also know that female swordsmen are not taken seriously anywhere," there was a certain undertone of bitterness in her voice, showing how utterly she hated those who looked down on her simply because of her gender. "And the only one who forgets himself is the one who doesn't know what he's fighting for." with those words she rushed forwards. Her hands moved backwards so that both her katanas were behind her back. Just as she got within range, she took a huge leap upwards. When she reached the roof she flipped over and pushed herself towards the man. With a very high speed she was now falling towards the man with her head first, her katanas still behind her back.

His eyes flashed in the darkness but no worry showed in them. Instead he slowly lifted his head following her movements with ease and then hopping back just out of her range as she crashed to the ground where he had been only moments earilier. He kept watching her and put the long blade back onto his back and drew his katana. He watched her, calm in his eyes, with no room for judgement. He was sizing her up for her attacks...not her gender, size, or looks...simply on her raw talent, speed, and power. "Talk is useless in a fight...as a swordsperson you should know that...speak to me with your sword and maybe then I'll let you pass..." He stood straight up for a bit before lowering himself a bit and putting the blade out in front of him as he watched her. He wasn't attacking although he had the full ability to do so...he was instead waiting for her to do something...a mistake in some eyes unless one knew his technique and mastery of it.

Yumi just continued going, when she crashed into the ground she bounced up in the air again, while all the time moving faster and faster. This time she intentionally missed the man, bounced off the wall behind him and continued towards him. She moved towards his right side, in fact, she moved so much to the right of him that she was obviously going to miss him. But as she was already very close to him her left arm moved from her back to her side, the blade was now in range and with all the time increasing speed only one or two seconds from cutting the man in his stomach.

Chaos didn't even smile as his wakizashi was coming out. He flipped backwards over the blade his short sword keeping it from coming up into his back. He landed onto his feet as she flew past him. If she tried using her other blade his katana would block it. He landed and slowly rose to his feet placing his golden eyes back on her. He didn't speak this time but there was an aura of readiness and possibly paranoia...He was ready for her though and even then ready for an ambush by others if there happened to be one. He was always ready and used his style to do so. A style based on the principles of defense and speed...used correctly and it could decimate whole crowds of people if mastered and used in the right way. Chaos continued to watch this woman...he wanted to test her movements and take her to the breaking point...He had the endurance to last for long periods of fighting but usually ended them within the first few attacks...He wondered if this would be much different.

As Yumi had moved past the man once again she slowed down, then turned to face him once again. This is taking too long... just leave now b*****d, you're making it harder than it should be. But Yumi calmed down again, she lowered her stance. Alright, he uses several swords, but seems to like one of them a lot more than the others. He's quick, but I have yet to see him come at me. Now Yumi slowly walked forwards, directly towards the man, without doing anything, she didn't even defend herself in anyway as she walked into his range, just waiting for him to finally do something.

He shook his head slowly and kept looking at her as he spoke his swords crossed in front of him. His eyes didn't leave her and nothing seemed odd about him. He was reading her eyes and her movements at the same time...not trusting either fully but noting both of them. His voice spoke softly as he stood there unmoving as she stepped closer. "You should realize who you're dealing with and that when you crashed into the ground the Sekigahara police were called...but you must have already realized that you're not looking at me any longer...don't you?..." Suddenly a cold feel of metal touched her neck seeming to bend around to her throat as the afterimage slowly faded the jaw still moving. His eyes were still golden if she looked back but now she could feel the icy chill emanating from them and grasping her fully...They were killing eyes used to make the opponent scared...he didn't expect it to work on her but it was a natural thing that happened when he fought...He was ready for her to whip around and attack him...and also to leap forward...Chaos didn't wish to hurt her but he didn't feel she understood what she had stumbled upon. His voice spoke out again. "I tell you leave or I will kill you within 3 of your next strokes...don't tempt me to prove myself for I simply wish you to leave...you can kill him later since this is my only day on the job...my lord only wishes to extract a little information and then I'll be on my way from here...so leave...now" He wasn't holding his katana but it was ready to draw. He was holding Masamune up to her so that if she did whirl around to attack she wouldn't be able to reach him and he could still hit her down hurting or possibly even killing her...

The terrible killing aura this man now emitted made Yumi realize this guys was just as serious as she was, even though she had realized this rather late into the fight (if that was what you could call it), she still wasn't going to suddenly just give up. "Weren't you the man who just told me that words are useless in a fight? Maybe I've mistaken myself, but you certainly speak a lot for someone who said that" she smirked. Now Yumi was standing maybe only half a meter from the sword the man was holding up. "And I will say it once more, I will not leave, since I will be concidered a traitor if I do. Besides, I'm pretty sure they already have a few men out there that'll kill me as soon as I get out anyway, they always do" the last words Yumi said with a rather sad and tired sounding voice. "My three next strokes eh?" as soon as she said that Yumi jumped up high in the air. Just as she did before she bounced off the roof, but this time she headed towards one of the doors in the room. She flipped around so that she would crash through the door with her feets first. Hope the door isn't too hard, she thought while preparing for the crash.

The door broke but not without halting her first. The doors were not meant to go out but come in. They broke after she hit it but it wouldn't be a easy hit for her. They were reinforced doors and the wood beam keeping people out didn't help either. Chaos slowly sheathed Masamune as she hit the door and put it onto his back as she landed. He wouldn't give chase to her throughout the mansion...he didn't need to after all her prey was in the same room...she just didn't know it. He drew his katana and wakizashi now and crossed them in front of him as he waited for her to come back to him...He wouldn't chase her...if she wished to run she could...if she wished to die she would...but for tonight he would not let her kill those he was protecting...

OUCH! Was obviously the first thought Yumi had when she slammed into the ground. Without wanting to move Yumi lay there on the floor in a pile, still keeping an eye on the man. "That wasn't a very smart idea now, was it?" she laughed as she stood up. "Seems like I got the wrong room too." she laughed hysterically then stopped when she realized what she was doing. Her feet were yet slightly numb, so she decided to wait a moment before moving. Standing there leaning her arm on one of her katanas she said: "You know you have a rather boring fighting-style, I haven't even seen a single one of your moves yet." she smiled, very aware of the fact that she hadn't showed a single of her own moves yet either. "Now would you be so kind as to tell me where Yamanaka is? This is getting real frustrating and annoying." She shook her head. "Now what do you suggest I'd do? You seem to be so good answering questions."
