I never heard of it, before I picked it up at a bookstore one day. It never left my hands since that day! I don`t know why I never noticed it before that day.

I first even fund out about the book when mybest friend read it, and wouldn't stop talking about it, and said I should read it. So, i decided that I did. And..I like..died. It was awesome. Twilight is one of my favroite books! But, I have acctualy bought it yet. I borrowed it. So, i'm in wait until I get a chance to go out and buy it now and make a shrine in my closet for it like I did another book series. ^^

I work at my local library, and while stamping books, Twilight stuck out to me. After reading the back, I knew I had to read it. By the end of work, I was addicted.

Crystal2 I remember when I first heard of Twilight. A good friend of mine was reading it. Then suddenly, a line was forming at school of the girls that wanted to read it. I got into the line before it got really long. They way my friends talked about was like it was the most important thing ever. (I understand now.) When I read it, I was amazed. It was so good. No, good can't even begin to describe. I had to get my own copy after that, and I did.

I picked it up at school, because I was searching desperately for a good fantasy book because I have read almost all of the fantasy books at school and I saw twilight, and I remembered my friend katie mentioning it was good, and I was desperate so I picked it up, and holy cow, once I picked it up I could not put it down, and now I am not so patiently waiting for the book after new moon

januaryfreeze92 I saw the cover in the school library and was like "That looks cool." Then I saw it in the bookstore and was like "I SAW THAT BOOK AT SCHOOL!" Lol... Long story made short. I rave about Twilight to everyone I know... And to absolute strangers. Yes, completely serious. Me too. Except I saw my friend Stacy reading it (she's absolutely OBSESSED with Edward), and I thought it looked interesting.

I belonged to another forum and was looking for some interesting summer reading material. I kept seeing the title Twilight come up, so one day in June or July of 2006, I picked it up at the library.
It became part of my relaxation technique for several weeks, to light candles, put on classical music, and read Twilight.
Naturally, I became enamoured with it. I looked up all the information I could find on it, only to discover that New Moon was to be released in late August, and there would be a booksigning/party in my city in late September.
I got my friends hooked on Twilight and reserved New Moon at the bookstore. I reserved our spots for the party, and the rest is history.

I kind of discovered Twilight before it became so popular. I saw it at the book store, and thought hey, this looks interesting, but it was only in hardcover and I didn't have enough money. A couple of months later, I bought it for a friend for her birthday, but I started reading it and I couldn't put it down. When I finished the edges were a little frayed and the cover got ripped, so I bought her new books and kept Twilight and read it again. Then I gave the book to a friend who REALLY likes Twilight, probably five times more than I do, and she became obsessed with the series even further. biggrin

Vampire Bella had borrowed it from the library and when we were hanging in a group, some of them wanted to watch Final Fantasy Unlimited and I didn't want to.
So, I picked up her book and started to read it instead.
I read until it was time to go and I didn't want to stop reading.
So, we were being driven home at night, and there I was, sitting in the back seat using my poor little DS as a reading light and I read all the way home where I relunctantly gave the book to Bella (though I think I caught up to her place in reading).
Thing is, I get car sick when I read in cars, not so much throwing up, but I get dizzy and want to sleep. After that, I don't remember wanting to do anything but read Twilight.
And I've been with Bella through the Twilight world since.

So... my friend Becca was reading it and I'm like 'cool' But I didnt really read it until my friend Meredith gave it to me and told me I had to read it. I let it sit on my desk for about 2 weeks because I'm not the biggest fan of reading. Meredith kept asking me how I liked it and stuff so I decided that day after school I would start. After that I was hooked. I read it in 2 days and that night I want out and got New Moon from the bookstore. I'm reading it now and I love it!
