Ari didn't know what to do. She gasped and turned, back pressed to Avatre's, to see Archaedus racing down the hallway.
Archaedus reached the room. "Explain yourself now, stranger." He said commandingly to Hawk.

Avatre was not sure what surprised her enough to lose concentration over her shadow; whether it was the press of Ari's back upon hers for support or Archaedus' empowering voice ringing out behind her.
Her eyes instantly changed back, and the power disappeared from her fingertips, curling it's way back around her heart. She turned her head a little and whispered into Ari's hair, still keeping view of Hawk.
"Are you alright? Look now, Archaedus is here. Which means he is alright, the intruder just side-stepped him. Now the real party will begin. Three against one," she presented the palm of her hand to Ari and spoke a little louder, "lets do this!"

Ari turned around to once again face Hawk, taking the hand as she turned. "Let's." She released her grip on Avatre's hand and began preparing herself for her first real battle. Everything she had learned began coming back to her, she felt the magic flowing through her body.
Archaedus was right behind the girls. "Whatever you do, do not make the first strike. See if he will explain himself, he seems more intent on talking than fighting right now."

Avatre nodded and surpressed a small smile, from the fact that Ari had accepted her gesture.
She connected herself with her shadow once again, but watched how much of the shadow actually took over. Her hand readied her dagger for a quick throw, and she waited.
The first move is his, though I need to concentrate enough on my powers to be in control, but not enough that I lose a sense of my surroundings. My shadows.. obey me!

Hawk collapsed.
What's going on!? I can't feel anything... At all... It's all fading away... What the.... NO!... NOT YOU!... GET OUT!... RIGHT-
Hawk has lost touch from reality. He is no longer in control of his body. His mind has been shoved into a corner. Someone is now in control.
Hawk's body stood up. His eyes glowed with a bright whiteness. He opened his mouth to speak: The voice was not his own.
"This fool has disobeyed me one too many times." The voice was dark. "He is losing his sense of loyalty to those who helped him through his hard times..." The voice was raspy. "Though, the Organization was responsible for taking away his memories in the first place." The mental intruder gave an evil smile. "So yes, I suppose you could say BlackHawk was a good guy all along... till I CAME!"
The new mental prescence was the last person BlackHawk ever wanted to see again.
He was Hawk's superior.... White.
"Hmmm, let's see what this body is physically capable of! AHAHA!"
White ((I shall now be adressing him as White, though he is controlling Hawk's body this whole time.)) flipped backwards, planting his feet on the back wall. He then launched himself forwards at Avatre. His glove outstretched, he hits her in the head, sending a mental pulse through her mind at point-blank.
White was sick of Hawk. He could let the pathetic man's mind wither and die away. As long as he acheived the sole purpose of his mission.

Arianna responded quickly, sending a blast of energy to get White away from Avatre. "Archaedus, what's going on here?" She asked, quite urgently.
"I believe he has been inhabited by another mental intruder." Archaedus said simply. "A very bad one. Stand back, both of you. This presence is strong...too strong for you to fight.
"NO. We'll all fight. Together." Ari insisted.

Avatre stumbled back after the impact of White's forearm and she felt her and unimaginably strong current run through her.
Everything is white.. what happened.. wh-why can't I connect with my shadow? wh-what did he do to me.. shadows.. I see gray. My vision is returning. What is the muffled noise.. sounds like someone is talking. He. Yes, he is talking.. such a strong voice.. Archaedus. Yes.. I remember.. and Ari.. Ari!
She hadn't even notice she had fallen to her knees, until she started struggling to regain her footing. Her mind was still amiss from whatever White had done to her, and she surely had a terrible headache forming.
"Archaedus," her voice was strained as she tried to think of the right words and say them quickly,"my shadow.. he did something with my mind." She finally got to her feet, readying her dagger and drawing out another from her cloak.
"Without my mind.. Without being able to concentrate, I will not endanger Ari or you. I cannot use it for if it gets to strong for me to handle... but that doesn't matter. I Have my daggers, and I'm ready to fight!"

"Avatre! Be careful...He's powerful, Archaedus said so...I don't want you to be hurt."
((Ick. This is the point where I have to start encorperating other types of magic I haven't written about/thought out yet.))

She managed a weak smile, but determination filled her eyes.
"The world can lose a shadow, but if the world looses its light; there is nothing. Ari, you are the light! ...And I am mearly your shadow. Do not worry about me, I am here to help you. Take care of yourself, for you are far great importance to the world. I shall only be a black mark.."

White looks around, a savage beast surveying the battle field for weapons. The girl with hawk had daggers! But otherwise... he had nothing else to fear. Just avoid the girl with the crazy amounts of mental strength and complete the mission.
The mission. Yes. He had planned it himself. The girl named Ari.
She must be eliminated.
He juiced up his glove with the most powerful mental shockwave yet. This one would do her in. He dashed for her, gloved hand stretched out in front.

He was heading right for her...Arianna had to do something. She summoned the one element she'd mastered-wind. Full-force a huge gust hit him at about 80 mph. She unsheathed her sword, ready for a second attack should it come.

The wind whipping the hall ruffled Soren's feathers. He let out a screech of exhilaration and flew into the air. Feeling him leave her shoulder Avatre whistled in a very high pitch tone and Soren turned within the air circling above her.
"Soren my mind is not concentrating, but I felt a small presence coming done the hall. Go Quick find out if it friend or foe! Swift winds my friend... Begone!"
She turned away and summoned her strength. She was ready to make her move. His hand needs to be taken out of commission. His power is thrust forward through it. She dashed forward making a move with her daggers flashing. Please hit your mark... this is no time to miss.
