Nick87453 Hello all. Im by far not new to gaia and Otakon 2006 will be my second con next to Otakon 2004. Name: Nicole Age: 19 Join Date to Gaia: 3/20/04 Hobbies: Martial arts, Gaia, Cosplay... Iv been on here for a while and was around for Otakon 2004. I couldnt make it last year but this year im going with my boyfriend. I'm making my own cosplay. I'm going as a Bawls Warrior. you'll get it when you see me, i swear. this will be my second Otakon and second convention i've gone to. I'll be taking full advantage of it this year. i was rather skittish and overwhelmed last year and my camera died razz

Hobbies: Uhm...does being a lazy sod count? Nah, seriously, my hobbies are reading, Gaia, watching TV (crime dramas, mostly), slicing/shredding/patching/otherwise multilating my clothing, uhm...occassionally playing Yu-Gi-Oh! and tabletop RPGs *is in the process of creating a character for one*, playing video games, collecting lighters and other random things.
Ect: Uhm, I dunno, I don't really like talking about myself. I'll try, though:
This'll be my first Otakon, despite the fact that I live within walking distance of the convention center. I've never been to a con before, so I'm not really sure what to expect, besides the utter madness I saw while lurking about the harbor and convention center last year.
I'm going to be cosplaying one of my favourite avatar outfits, a cyber soldier sort of thing, so I'm starting work on it now.
Favourite anime/manga: uhm....Hellsing, Elfin Lied, Android Kikaider: The Animation, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun... oh, and there's a manga called The Dreaming that's pretty good so far.
Some stuff about me:
I'm kind of an odd person. I like collecting lighters, knives, and shot glasses. Oh, and corks. Yeh, corks...the kind out of wine bottles. Please don't ask why, I just do. I like reading...a lot. Especially ninteenth century Gothic/Victorian horror. And Edgar Allen Poe is one of my favourite authors. Uhm...what else? Oh, yeah, I say bloody a lot, I have no idea why. I guess it's because I've gotten used to using it instead of stronger curses when I'm around my mum and grandmother. I can be incredibly silly/stupid when I want to be, which is usually any time I'm with my friends, and we have incredibly strange conversations most of the time. And I honestly have no idea what else anyone could POSSIBLY want to know about me, so I'm shutting up now.
