I thought it was funny. But then, I was...nine. UI read all good books when I was nine.
Must've been that whole moving thing.
Well, no...I read Harry Potter 1 when I was...seven...or...yeah.

I attempted to start with book three when I was little (I didn't KNOW it wasn't the first one), was totally confused as to what was going on, gave up, and didn't read any of them again 'til the first movie came out.

New books that I've remembered!
Memoirs of a Geisha, it's one of those fascinating stories you can't put down. And the Chrestomanci series, it's got a great storyline.

More amazing books...
The Five People You Meet in Heaven-Mitch Albom (I cried. A lot) The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants-Ann Brashares Gone With the Wind-Margaret Mitchell (Even though it is HUGE, it is SO worth it. Don't read the sequel, that isn't written by Mitchell. I hated that.) Harry Potter-J.K. Rowling (Of course. ^^) Left Behind: the series-Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins (Christian novels about the end of the world...no matter what your religion, you should read these, especially if you enjoy fantasy-type things...because they're really cool. Seriously. The series is like 10 books long, but worth it, and a great summer read to hinder boredom.) The Things They Carried-Tim O'Brien (War story, kinda, but different...at any rate, good. Really interesting, and something you can put down and pick up at will.) Metamorphoses-Ovid (Another one of those really long books, but it's really cool. It's a collection of Roman (Greek? I'm not entirely sure) legends and stories. You know, with all the gods and stuffs. Also something you can pick up and put down whenever. Can be read slowly, over months, becuase it's just a big collection of stories.)

Spastic Waffles:
Book One: Seen the movie made from it, want to read the book! Book Two: Read the series; awesome! Book Three: Not a romance person. sweatdrop Book Four: Well, of course! Book Five: LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! Have you read the adult and the kid series? The kids one has 40 volumes, but I loved them anyway. Books Six and Seven: Never heard of them.

Six and Seven I read for my lit class this year. My teacher pretty much ruined them for me, but I still enjoyed them despite the fact.
Oh, and Cold Mountain by Charles Fraiser is an amazingly beautifully written book even if the ending did suck a lot. I'd suggest you read it anyway just because it's so friggen beautiful. The writing blew me away, even if the story sucked in the end. This is another one I read for lit class.
