I haven't really cosplayed in public much. After a con I ran threw the high school with a Naruto headband around my neck, a trench coat on, and a yaoi shirt screaming "IM A NARUTARD!" ...The looks I got were priceless. This year, I'm going to gave a little more fun. Im my school, Kingdom Hearts 2 was a fad... amongst the upperclassmen boys. Around Halloween I'm going to run threw the halls wearing the Organization XIII cloak. If I get it in the next week or so, I'll be wearing it on the first day so my friend Matt and I can dress up together.
Matt is the pope in our school. The pope with orange side burns that smacks you with germ x. I wonder what people would think if the pope battled a Nobody? o.o;

I went to school on Halloween as Vash...I got some interesting responses. People thought I was Cher (WTF?!), or my principal (she has like ubershort spikey blonde hair). It was funny, and I wasn't too nervous because my friend was cosplay as Kikyo.
I've gone around my town, full of gansters and wiggers, in my Kakashi vest and headband, and ninja shoes. It was kinda scary because some like 19-year-old was following me and my friend, and then when we were walking home this car full of guys stopped next to us. Suffice to say, we ran like hell.
I want to cosplay in public more often. Go to the mall or something.
I was in Party City once and I thought I saw a girl dressed up as ghetto Sora, but I was too shy to ask. > __>

Well me and my friends plan to go out to the strip or into hotels cosplaying lol. Sometime maybe at the first day of school as well. Since I live in Las Vegas, there's a lot of places that's possible to go to.

I dont have so much cosplay experiences, however the latest costume I have, was something I bought off ebay, called custom black cosplay. Its not really a cosplay of any. I just thought it looked cool and it wasnt so.. what to say... "overdoing it". Its a simple costume which might be accepted in the public if you know what I mean ^^;
However it didnt take me long to discover im (also) a wuss and couldnt wear in in public sweatdrop

Oh, man...Fun stuff...
I got the freakin' best looks when I was around downtown Tampa in my Maki (from Cafe Kichijouji) costume. I was carrying a silver serving tray with two cups on it as part of my costume, and people driving by thought I was like...a road side waiter or something. XD Wow...
Better yet, at Anime Festival Orlando this past summer, I was walking to dinner with my friend and her family...I was dressed as Tamaki Suoh, and She was dressed as Reno. Her dad was dressed as Rude, her little brother as Cid, and our friend as Rufus. Her mom was wearing a Kilala hat and my other friend was just all j-rocker ish. Crossing the street, all the people stopped at the light were like, leaning forwards in the cars to stare at us. I waved at some of them and smiled cheerily and they were had this look like "Oh, they can see us staring at them?!"
But as those were both during conventions, then dun really count. D:
In december, I'm going to Disney in my Riku costume with my Sora, Axel, and Olette. We were there this summer, acting in character, and it was bad enough....add costumes and the havoc is unfathomable. XD I can't wait to see how it works out...
I wanna wear my costumes out, but we just moved and they're packed up. crying

It would be easier to meet people if we all cosplayed. I have the experience of wearing my Hitai ate EVERYWHERE and people actually recognized it!!! xd

Me and my friend Lee went to a Japanese/Chinese resturant a couple weeks ago in a Gaara cloak and an Akatsuki cloak. Everyone looked at us funny. It was hilarious. (our con is in March)

Heh, yeah I love to get funny looks while at the arcades, so I usually am seen with some ears , or my cosplay touques. Yes playing house of the Dead is fun when you're dressed as a bunny. Or a school girl.
