I thought the movie was ok it need to be scarier or more gore. I was just lacking the Horror part. It was cool when the guys face came off. 4laugh

That movie was.... okay. Just a bit too gory for my particular taste but the death scenes were sooooo funny!!!!! The only unrealistic thing was when he cut he Ackeelis (sp?) tendon he was able to stand??? Isn't it true that when that tendon is cut you can't stand or walk??? neutral A little confusing.......

HeroCasey Has anyone see this yet? I went out and saw it last night, and I can say I was really disturbed by the film. Granted, it had it's flaws, like all films, but I want to liken this film to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre as it's relentless and graphic. im sorry but that movie was VERY LAME. the characters are so hideous and the special effects are dumb looking. the only good thing i enjoyed, was seeing paris hilton killed, too bad it didn't happen in real life.

PossessedByDevil I hate Vincent Price remakes. I refuse to see the remake of House of Wax. It looks like it sucks a**. It does. It doesn't just suck a** it goes the whole way and deciedes to SHRIMP the a** also!!!!!!

Vincent Price version or the new one? I saw the new one it was graphic but good and yea had some flaws (three brothers wtf?)

It was an... interesting movie... Kinda disturbing when the wax also peeled off the flesh of that one protagonist... gonk *shivers*. Though the best part was when Paris Hilton died! twisted That was gruesomely awesome!

Of course it's going to suck; it's an obvious rehash of the basic Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake formula...but with wax. Your sig made me laugh. On Topic: I don't understand the remakes of Vincent Price films. Why does Hollywood have to go and do that? The House On Haunted Hill remake especially sucked. Also, in reply to the first post, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake is terrible. You have to start seeing the originals. No disrespect or anything but I actually loved the remake of The House On Haunted Hill. However, I thought the remake of the House Of Wax was pretty pathetic. In fact, I believe I can honestly say that I hated that movie. I did, however, love the part when the main character's boyfriend was turned into a wax figure and when his friend dodged the blade it sliced the wax and you could see the exposed skin. Man...that was awesome, I would probably see it again just for that.
