Feline motioned to a few chairs facing outward, right outside the wing, a few of which were obscured by the wall. "Sit back there, so you won't be tempted to turn around. I'm not really queasy and even I wouldn't enjoy seeing someone put Vestakia back together... but don't worry! He'll be okay, I'm sure with a lot of loving care and patience he'll be able to walk again." She said the last thing with a hint of fear in her voice, but she cleared her throat and nodded, wheeling the bed back a little farther to the counter.
Enivali sat directly behind Professor Feline, looking up at the poor dustling and watching Remoran intently as he attempted to help out. She turned for a second and Darin's eyes caught hers.
"Dooon't worry," Feline added, as she slipped into a pair of latex gloves.

Krissie pressed her lips firmly together and put a hand on Darin to guide him over to one of the seats hidden by the wall. She was worried sick now and a bit mad. The fool of a dust had to go get himself hurt. From the looks of it, he had fallen off the roof. She continued to ponder what happened and if Caiden would be okay.
Darin had noticed that Krissie was no long paying attention to him and he walked over to Enivali. He didn't have his father's bravado, nor his striking charm, but he was nice in his own way. He sat down a foot or so away from Enivali and nodded his head a little, "Uh... hi... I'm Darin." There was worry in his voice and his tail flicked back and forth nervously.

Feline cracked her knuckles and stared down at the big, heavily inhaling-and-exhaling lump of dustling on the bed. Caiden's green eyes were shut and Feline knew this was going to be difficult. She rummaged around with her box of syringes and pulled the necessities out of her cabinets to put together a shot that would ease all pain and put Caiden into a natural sleep-- coupled with his unconsciousness, he wouldn't wake up and flail around while she was setting his bones. "Thanks for your help, Remoran," she whispered, and took the splint from his beak.
Enivali was still rooted to the spot, staring over at the procedure. She had never felt such fear before. However, the voice of Darin pierced her foggy mind and she turned towards him again. "Darin? Well, hello..." she seemed more fidgety than even he was, but for a different reason. "Do you know what happened to this dustling?" she blurted out, her curiousity gnawing at her.
Feline carefully applied pressure to his leg's broken bones, slowly shifting them back into place. With a very soft -pop-, she knew it was back into alignment and she began to tape his leg to the splint. It was crafted from a very powerful wood, and Feline was sure he wouldn't break it nor get out of it. That was the problem with dustlings like Caiden, he's probably be so proud he'd pull it off and limp around until his leg just fell off. Feline shuddered.
After the splint was finished, she didn't bother casting it just yet-- the ribs needed immediate attention. She could tell there was internal bleeding, but she couldn't help that. All she could do was bandage his chest until he resembled a newly-wrapped mummy. "I hope that'll help," she mumbled, and decided to give Krissie pills to help the internal wounds heal quicker.
She applied the cast to his leg quickly and finished his unexpected appointment with a quick run-down to make sure that was all that was broken. He noticed a piece of his horn had broken off. She gasped.
A strong, proud dustling like Caiden would never be able to live like that... She knew the piece of horn was probably back at the point of impact, and she needed it quickly if she wanted to glue it back on. It might turn back to stardust and blend in with the sand forever! "Krissie! Come here!" Her voice was urgent.

Darin thought about what had happened for a moment, "He fell off the roof. We have reason to believe that Toril, one of the Demonics at our house, pushed him." There seemed to be a lot of conviction in his voice, distrust, and anger. He'd have to deal with Toril if Barras didn't first. It occured to him that if his father wasn't able to hold his position as top dog, Barras, or maybe Kass would be taking over. "He's my father. I'm worried..."
Krissie was fidgetting as well in the seat, her hands twisting her shirt up then smoothing it out. As soon as she heard Feline's urgent voice, she was up out of her seat and at Feline's side, "What is it?!" She was looking over Caiden, casts and bandages, he'd be extremely unhappy. Feline didn't have to say a thing for her to notice the missing piece of horn. She gasped softly and grew even more worried. There'd be nothing worse than a disfigured Caiden in the house. He'd make everyone else miserable because he thought he didn't look good. "The horn!" She didn't know where it was and hadn't noticed it missing.

Enivali let out a small gasp. "Pushed? That's so terrible... and, wait, he's your father? I'm so sorry." She finally stood up and stepped closer to him, giving him an affectionate rub on the face with her own snout.
"You have to find it before it turns to dust... I'm not sure where it could be but chances are, if you backtrack, you can find it. I think pieces of dustling horn reverts back to dust within an hour. The bandages are bad enough, Caiden doesn't need to be ridiculed by other dustlings for having half a horn as well."
((I was thinking Toril or someone [haha, Vestakia XD] could've stolen it and a fight breaks out between dustlings, but, whatever you want! ^_^))

Katie had been sitting in a seat near Krissie's, fairly worried for her friend's Dustling. He was Krissie's first, and she didn't want anything to happen to the poor guy. She wondered how he'd gotten himself so badly hurt. The girl remembered that Toril usually roosted on the roof for most of the day, but Katie didn't really want to believe her Dustling had done it. It would probably upset Krissie even more, and she didn't want to think about that.
She stayed in her seat as Feline summoned Krissie over, but Katie could plainly hear what was being said. Katie got up from her seat and came beside them to see Caiden. He looked like Dustling mummy, and she noticed that, indeed, part of his horn was missing. Already feeling guilty for the actions one of her pets might have done, she said softly, "I can go run and look for it so Krissie can stay with Caiden."

Darin would have blushed if it was possible and smiled as well as a dust can at Enivali. "Thank you for your concern. Father's strong though, he'll pull through." He had heard one of his dust mates had come to the facility to live, he didn't know her name since he had never met her, but his father had told him that she was here, "And by the way... I believe I have a sibling living here, do you know where she is?"
Krissie turned to Katie and blinked a little bit, she was quite ready to run off to retrieve the piece of missing horn. "Would you?!" She was worried sick and there was some relief in that she would be able to stay with her beloved Caiden.

"I'd be more than happy to go fetch Caiden's horn for you, Krissie," Katie said with a weak grin on her face. The girl liked her friend's Dustling and would have gone to get the horn even if she didn't suspect one of her own Dustlings was responsible. She gave Krissie a small pat on the arm before turning to leave. "I'll be back in no time!" she called softly over her shoulder before leaving the room, bolting for the exit of the Stardust Facility.

Enivali looked a little confused at Darin's question but, as she looked at his bright, cheerfully-colored featherfur, she realized who he meant. "Oh! Saryn? Yes, she liv-- oh, she should know her father is here!"
Enivali leapt away, disappearing up a slim staircase in a golden blur. She soon returned, a groggy-looking female following her. As she raised her heavy eyes to Darin, Saryn gasped. "Hi!" she called, immediately waking up as she approached him. "Why're you here?"
Enivali sighed and looked up at Caiden. Saryn's eyes followed. "..What? What's father doing up there?" she asked, beginning to feel a little frantic.

Krissie felt a surge of relief at not having to leave Caiden's side. She gently stroked the big male's head and she smiled a little bit, "It's okay big guy, Katie's gonna go get the missing piece." She was on the verge of tears. She knew he'd recover just fine, though it's possible he'd have a slight limp if he didn't keep off his leg while it was healing.
Darin stood up as Saryn entered and clicked his beak a little bit. "Father's been injured. We suspect he may have fallen or been pushed off the roof by the demonic female that joined the clan recently." He didn't go terribly far into the details of what happen, but he could see his sister was worried, "He'll be okay. Your human has taken care of him, he'll be fine. But he's missing a piece of his horn..." He grumbled a little and gave a shaky laugh, "Father'd make everyone miserable if he doesn't look good."

Saryn, despite her semi-dislike for her father, leapt up and rested her front paws on the small bed Caiden had been unceremoniously plopped onto. She could see the chest, breathing a hint more shallow than usual, and dropped back down, an obvious look of fear in her face. "I hope he'll be okay," she murmured. It was all fine to say everything will be fine, but no one really knew-- not until it was over. And as Darin told her someone might've done this to him, well, it pissed Saryn off pretty bad.
"What do you mean someone might've done this to him?!" she snarled, and stepped closer to Darin-- "who? Why.. when I get through with her..."
Enivali stepped forward and tried to push her back. "Stop, stop... it's okay Saryn, we're not even sure it was someone else. And if it was, revenge will come later. Now we must wait for Caiden to heal."
Saryn sighed heavily and dropped onto her hindquarters. "I guess you're right..."
Vestakia appeared out of nowhere, glowing with happiness. "Ah... hello, children," she called, sweetly, passing by them to get a better view of Caiden. She licked her beak, however, at Darin. "Mmm... and who might you be, stranger?"
Enivali raised a brow. "Caiden's son, Darin. Please leave us alone, Vestakia... we're trying to pray here."
Vestakia looked disgusted. "Tch! Well, I see I'm not wanted here..." She flicked her tail haughtily and disappeared on the other side of the bed.

Darin was taken back with the aggresiveness of Sayrn and blinked. He was glad that Enivali was there to calm his sister down. The injury to his father was putting strain on him and those here at the facility, lord only knew how Barras was keeping his mother calm, is he was able to manage such. Barras had seniority over him and was next in line for clan head anyway with Caiden should some how become incapable of running it.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he startled a bit when Vestakia arrived. Again, he was caught off gaurd by the interest that Vestakia showed in him and gave a bit of a nervous laugh. He was glad once more when Enivali stepped in. He was beginning to feel quite clearly the tension that existed among the dusts in the facility.
He was suddenly quite glad that the girls back in the clan got along so well. Then again, Vellir was pretty good at keeping everyone in a good mood since she just naturally gave off a nice vibe.

((Forgot about this.. and, I updated my front page. ^_^!))
Saryn sighed heavily and curled up into a ball. "I'll have my revenge, just as soon as I figure out what happened." Enivali nodded.
"Good, but for now, calm down." She once again returned her attention to Darin. "I'm hoping the humans will help him quickly."

Katie returned a short while later, panting heavily, with the broken off piece of horn. Barras had found it very close to where his father had fallen, and she'd run the whole way to make sure she returned in time. The whole time, her mind worried over the situation she'd seen back at the house.
She rushed into the room with the horn in hand, blinking and offering it to Professor Feline. "Here... Have it.... Not dust... Can you put it back on?" she huffed, pretty sure she was about to pass out. She looked over to where Krissie was, wondering if she should tell her friend about what had been going on. She wouldn't like it...

Clyde Entered into the Lab He noticed the other humans, deciding it would be bad time to interupt the two leggeds. So he walked over towards the side and laid down tring to take a nap, but because there was so much comotion he was only able to close his eyes resting his racking brain. He was lusting right now knowing he would be able to have children. He didn't know what to do though, He never got the talk. He knew it had to do something with him grooming her, and he already had one Aletta's feathers from the skuffle... Were they destined to be together? He would need the help of Dr. Feline big time!
