Oblivion Goddess
Am I the only one who laughed during the Johanna Quartet when everyone was being killed? I was freaking out people next to me. Wonderful. :3
Was that the part where they kept dumping the bodies on the ground with a sickening thump? If so I LOVED that. My mum and I were cracking up the whole time! It even got some chuckles outta my dad.
Oh man I'm laughing at it now.

lol, so yeah. i haven't been on here in...i dunno...forever? XD BUT, yeah. i'm here now. joy.
alright. :3 i'm pretty much obsessed with this at the moment. <3
i'm not real big on musicals. i like a few, but they're something that i have to see more than once, or be able to re-wind and listen more carefully to.
when i first saw it, i was so excited. like, twitchy-excited. and of course, then it started, i about died because of how awesome the music was (i'm a huge soundtrack geek).
i got the general gist of it the first time i saw it. but, since i'm pretty slow when it comes to musicals, i missed a lot. when it was over, i was kind of, "...wait, that's it?" XD i thought it was alright. i was a little let down by it, i'll admit.
but then i went to go see it again & fell in love with it. & i love it more every time i see it :3 which is four, right now.
personally, i thought the singing was great. but, i don't sing & i have nothing to compare it to...since i've never seen it on stage, & didn't really even hear about it until it was announced that a movie was being made XD
i loved the clothes & such <3
the music was awesome, too. i have the soundtrack, but it's pretty much just the songs & the music at the begining. which disappointed me a bit, since the music in it was so snazzy. but still, i love my soundtrack.
& yeah, i'm like you guys & laughed at that part, with the bodies falling XD dark humor = major win. i mean, all the bloody parts were just so...ridiculous (not sure if that's the right word, lol). if the blood didn't look like red paint, then yeah, i probably would've have laughed as much. but yeah, my mom & me crack up when ever we see that.
OH MAN. you know what else made me laugh? after that Anthony guy gets beat up, & he's still singing. XD 'cause his mouth is all bloody, his hair is all gross, & his facial expressions look so creepy. aha... stalker.
oh wow. i need to go to bed XD i'll type some more about it tomorrow <3

i found that i was the only one hysterically laughing at the bit where he throws mrs. lovette into the fire. i dont know. it was pretty funny the way they showed her hair and skin peeling off. and her scream was just uber funny. ...oh, i just read that again. that sounds a lot worse reading it than when i typed it. maybe i have a morbid sense of humor, but u had to or else that movie would have been hell to sit through. i thought it was actually really funny; all the killing.

I finally saw Sweeney Todd! I have to say I was quite entertained. The amount of blood was way more than I expected but that's a rated R movie for ya. I liked the color of the blood because it didn't look super real and it went well with the dark scenery. Made the blood a bit more pale, kinda hard to explain but I'm sure many of you may know what I mean. But it was kinda funny if he slit someone's throat and blood like kind of spurted like they were still breathing. It was awesome!!!! Even though it was a musical, it was interesting. I'm not really into musicals but that was awesome. Perhaps it was because it had Johnny Depp in it lol. The ending was sad though =(

The movie was amazing. For most people they hated the ending, but I thought they were crazy. I love how it ended because it made you wonder about what do you think happend, and gives you a chance to explore the possibilites. & Im happy it wasnt such a fairy tale 'Happily Ever After' thing. I give it 5 stars <3

[SCENE]skank {[//..COLD HARD b***h IT'S JUST A KISS ON THE LIPS..]}HE GOT IT!!!! I can't remember the name of the other actor that they were thinking of using but ofcourse Johnny's amahzingg ability to take on ANY obscure role landed him the part.
The production of Shantaram, which was the movie Johnny was filming, fell through. The director walked away or something.
So our favourite director Tim Burton((yay)) called up Johnny and he said of course!
AND THEY WON'T BE DUBBING HIS VOICE!!!! So we get to hear him sing!!! YAY!!!!
I'm so excited! blaugh
P.S. If you haven't listened to the musical Sweeney Todd, I suggest you do. 'Tis an amahzingg musical. You'll get a taste of what Johnny will be playing. ofcourse he's playing the title role Sweeney Todd himself. I saw a review on it in a magazine about movies called Cinema and it had 100%! I wanted to see this movie even before b/c I wanted to hear Johnny sing but now I want to see the movie even more. heart

Ok, first off, I loved Sweeney Todd. Johnny's an amazing singer! I'm listening to the soundtrack right now.
Now for the news. My guess is that most of you already know, but for those who don't, I thought you ought to know that Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is coming to dvd on April 1st. Less then a month!!! YES!

I guess it depends on a country and a place. It hasn't even been in cinemas in our town yet.

I LOVED EVERY SECOND!
I had to drive 30 minutes away to go see it, but I loved it! Musicals and Johnny Depp = Love.
& Mr. Depp definitely had some 'Sparrow' moments, if you know what I mean, especially when he was about to kill Judge Turpin (SNAPE, ha sorry, my two fandoms are combining at the moment). Can't wait to bug my mom or dad to get it for me on DVD =]
