Wild Cards "Of course, sir. What can I help you with." Rayce stood at a loose at ease, gazing at the man curiously. "Yes. I wanted to consstruct a production facility for Acclamantor-class frigates for troop transport. Can you upgrade the model to modern standards?" He handed over a datacard. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acclamator

((I know what an Acclamator looks like, don't worry. ^^ )) Rayce cocked an eyebrow at the design, then ran his fingers through his short, brown hair. "This... could be a problem. The Victory Star Destroyers would probably be better for this since they're already outfitted with weapons and cargo space. You could perhaps expand the passenger bay on the Acclamators, but that would mean tearing out guns and armor. I wouldn't recommend tampering with the Acclamator, sir."

The Acclamantor's designed for troop transport, and carries three-fold the space a Star Destroyer can, despite it being a fifth the size. The Venators and Victories were better fighting vessels. Can a new ship be made with the best of both worlds?"

"You're asking the impossible, sir. You can't have more space with a smaller ship. It's physically impossible. My suggestion would be to use the Victory Class Destroyers. They're premade for it."

Can it or can it not be possible to design a new ship?"

"It cannot. You can either have a massive transport or a massive gunship. Not both. It would take up too much space. If you choose the transport, I may be able to fit a few turrets on there, but not many. Four at the most. And the armor would be thin, since that would take half a world to make something that big, just structurally. It's your call, sir."

"Well, can the Acclamantor at least be upgraded? Not bigger, but better armor and shielding, newer hyperdrive, etc? If it's ideal, then it would be the wisest, no? Or can you make a model of the Victory that can be made in a sea-facility like I plan on building?"

"The Victory, I cannot do. However, boosting the performance of the Acclamator isn't a problem." Rayce quickly sketched the outline of the new Acclamator, with a newer hyperdrive system, stronger shields, and thicker durasteel, all while keeping most of the speed of the frigate. Rayce handed the design over after about thirty-five minutes.

He said this with a smile, and bowed to him politely, a Chiss thank-you. "Would you kindly take orders to begin retroffiting the pre-fab base into your new shipyards, and my I have your permission to promote you?"

Rayce nodded, then did a double-take and grinned. "That depends, sir. What to? I've only been here a few weeks." ((Just so that it doesn't seem like he's getting a promotion after one day. o.o ))

Never can I recall having an officer design our own vessels AND produce them. Does Lieutenant sound good?"

Second Lieutenant is fine, sir. I don't mind supervising, creating, and producing all at once. I've wanted to for some time." Rayce grinned and ran his fingers through his hair. "Thank you."

"Thank you." "Fine, that would give you the authority you need over the technicians, and the stormtroopers you'll need for construction. I'll like-wise make you my Head of Technology, and my lead-advisor over my technicians, until my Genetists gets here. Sound fine? Can I count on you?"

Follow me. Liando did as he was told. He looked at his stormtrooper. "Watch my stuff. Any one come near it. Stun them." He said wlking behin the deck officer. "Understood." He saluted and walked back to the shuttle. After about an hour of background checking and the changing from his casual wear to the Imperial Black Navy Suit givin to Luitenets. Though he had no ranks.... He was taken to the Commander. Down at the Base on the planet.
