Zeus's Fury showed no mercy to the building, blasting massive chunks out of the weakened and aged structure. Coupled with the miss-aimed Emerald Firebomb, there was nothing for the building to do but to come crashing down around/on them. Seeing as Damrius was attached to a support beam, he would undoubtedly be crushed by debris as the ceiling caved in on him. It was an impressively destructive sight. Luckily for Moonblade, however, he wouldn't be at ground zero. Moonblade dove under and past Damrius as he let off the attack, thereby exiting the zone of attack.
It would be a narrow miss, but a miss nonetheless. Now, for the moment, they only had to worry about the church destroying them.
