Ah. I thought it was going to be in-guild chat,

lol. That too. But I wasn't thinking of that as a guild activity, so much as... a place to rest after fighting the good fight.

Fiver
but this makes sense... I've never really run into someone trying to argue religion over science on Gaia before, though.

Really? They're all over the place. Well all over ED anyway.

Thanks for the invite.

Considering how many forums I'm fighting the good fight against puesdoscience on, I figured it was fitting to join this guild.

My favorite arguement: Intelligent Falling versus Gravity rofl

They never could respond to that bit of satirical genius.

Wish I could remember who came up with it.

I saw the thread title and though this would be a good place to introduce myslef. most of my school papers involve anti-creationism, anti-ID and pro-evolution topics, if you want to read one, click this link.

http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=17226617&blogID=112439946&MyToken=d20cce3a-2aa3-4cdd-a3df-c199f245928d

I like arguing against creationists so much because I live in southern Indiana, a cultural hellhole, where other research paper topics are usually why God must exist, and 1000 reasons why Bush is the best prez ever. I plan to be an active member on this guild. Also, what is the ED forum? Im relatively new to Gaia, so i dont know what most of the abbreviations are.

ED is extended discussion and your report can't be read as your blog is private.

Hi. I'm new to this guild + feelin' a little shy.

Thought i'd introduce myself.

I'm a student studying for a BSc in Palaeobiology and Evolution at the University of Portsmouth, my particular area of evolutionary interest lies in early mammalian evolution but the whole gamut is fascinating. I consider myself lucky that this summer on a field trip I had the chance to visit the museums where a couple of the Archaeopteryx specimens are held.

I'm not a fan of creationism. What kind of a**l diety thought it'd be a good idea to have thousands of different beetles to do the same job? Intelligent design, pfft! The sloth is one of my favourite animals to argue that particular idea.
