Lutra thought that staying where she was, well it was turning out to be a very bad idea, and it didn't look like it could get much worse. As the spider woman looked at Lilium, she squirmed in the fey's grip and attempted to kick her.
Lupinus looked back over his temporarily useless shoulder at Equus to see if he was indeed stopping, and reiterated what Aranea had said. "You have something that belongs to us, and we have come to retrieve it." He paused and added, "If you return it to us, perhaps we shall leave quietly and there will be no need for any... noble sacrifices." Well, that remained to be seen, but their very slight advantage with the child would be quickly lessening, and Aranea needed information.

They didn't know... it wasn't much of an advantage, but perhaps something for later. They didn't know that another moon court fey was already there, rescuing their comrade, or at least trying. They didn't even seem to know where the fey was, if they were here, attacking the sun court, instead of where captured fey actually was.
Equus frowned, pausing, and trying to reflect on that. He couldn't tell them that. THey wouldn't believe him, and it wouldn't accomplish anything, other than putting Laniger in a tougher position, with more attackers. It wouldn't make the treacherous spider fey drop the child of the sun court. It would do nothing.
But he was far, he wasn't as practiced with his magic, as other feys. The spider was right near the child, and the wolf was in his way. There was a calculated risk to this moment, this tension. It was whoever blinked first, and failed on the threat of their arms, would lose it all.
He kept his eyes flicking from Lupinus to Aranea. Would they blink. Would they execute their trump card, and make this a blood bath, if he forced the issue. Moon Court fey were evil, as he remembered. But they weren't exactly team players, either. They were less willing, to sacrifice themselves for the cause.
Slowly, Equus took a step towards Lupinus, bringing his sword up a little. If he engaged the wolf, would the spider blink? Would she bite, and then let the wrath of the sun court fall upon her?

((Yea... XD If she'd cast magic net towards them and THEN Lupinus moved away, I guess it would mean that it was only Aranea in the way. ))
Filix's arms had dropped to her sides helplessly. She'd never sacrifice a drop of a child's blood for this. And what did they mean? The Moon Court had Muris. The Sun Court had nothing... and if they did, everyone would know about it.
'Defiantly proving just how large your handling skills are, holding onto the child instead one of the two richly dressed and obviously important women.' Filix mocked the other woman in her mind, well aware that it might not help right now. Out loud though, she answered as carefully as she could, "We don't have anything of yours, not one single sickly, bile encrusted, half-dead creature from the pit you call a Castle."
The moment Lutra went to kick at the spider fey, Filix grabbed the chance to cast a different spell on the woman. She cast lesser Paralysis again, this time on Aranea's arm holding the knife, hoping that her refexes were quick enough to prevent the arm from slashing at Lutra.

Would that I knew what you were speaking of. I have no knowledge of one of yours being in our custody. So it seems you have me at a disadvantage. I swear to you I would be a much more valuable hostage to you then the little one. *She took a somewhat relaxed posture yet still ready to strike if the need arose* I can also swear to you that if any harm should come to her you will regret your actions.
*She could only hope noone took any rash action. It was very likely this Moon Fey was still under the influence of her speed spell and could do her damage in a matter of seconds* You will achieve your results with me just as easily as with her *Maybe easier. These Fey made her sick. No honor among them. Not to mention how spineless they truly are. This act just proves it*

((For some reason, this senario reminds me of the "Polish Hostage" scene in SWAT. You know "Come any closer and I'll blow my own brains out". Logically I see, if Aranea kills a child. She's dead. No way she's getting away. She'd have the whole court coming after her head. She could run, but that's about it. If we do something, she'll kill the child, and thus, effectively, kill herself... Either way, the woman and the child die. Bleak, huh?))
Equus knew of course. He knew where the moon court fey was held, where the other moon court fey was. In fact, as near as he could figure, he was the only one that knew everything that was happening. Which, of course, wasn't a good thing in his mind. He was little more than muscle in his mind. He rather someone wise, like the queen, know, and just let him do his duty.
Moments like this, made him all the more determined to learn some of those telepathic spells. Then he could be done with it, and bam, get to something more productive, than the worrying. As it was, he only moved closer, slowly, towards the wolf fey. If this blew up, he needed to be there, to stop him from tipping the scales. He prayed it wouldnt' happen, that Aranea would be merciful, or at least cowardly and be unable to carry this out.
With his right hand, he tried to discretely gesture towards either Filix or Lilium, one of them had that telepathic powers, he thought. At least, he hoped. His hand moved just a few inches, pawing towards him, as he thought, and hoped they would speak in his mind, so he could fill them in, and let the brighter feys take over the planning.

Aranea's arm weakened, the muscles becoming all but useless as the spell hit it, the dagger falling. She simply spat at the Fey, grabbing the kicking child and hoisting Lutra higher with two of her hands, a third wrapping around the childs throat;
'It seems to me you are not listening,' she said.
'Now if you would like me to throttle this girl right in front of you then by all means move closer - cast another spell.' she smiled widely.
'We know there is one of our Court here - we tracked him here. If you believe yourself 'valuable',' she mocked Lilium, her fingers tightening on the child's throat a little more.
'Then you will find where he is being kept and bring him here or your inaction will result in not one but two of your Court dying.'
(( Angua gave me permission to 'rough' Lutra up a little btw =))

xd Fair warning, Lan won't be able to scent it, so he'll know in one whiff he's being fooled. )) ((Hehe! I'll fix that up, and since major illusions have can only have 4/5 main things... Such as scent, sight, feel, taste, sound... oO; So it will have a scent. But I'll fix it all up so it's easier. xD Also sorry about any confusion, I'm trying to remember all the spells she had, and a few of them I'm forgetting certain parts of. ><))

Lupinus slid his spear through the strap on his back and drew his hunting knife. The colt kept coming, so let him. The paralysis spell should begin to wear off in a few minutes, and if the younger fey kept coming, well it would end badly. And since he himself was not bound by any honor when it came to fighting dirty as many of these fey seemed to be...
Looking back at Lilium and Filix, he said, "Call off the boy unless you want to see him harmed as well. I see nothing noble about risking more lives rather than... negotiating. We want what you have taken from us, and we will have it. Think on this: if we die here and do not return, your sweet little mouse will die as well." He sneered, and added, "Or is that what you hoped for when you sent her to us so obviusly unprepared?"

You put the child down and let her go and I will neotiate an exchange with you. Your brethren for Muris. If you harm the child anymore there will be no negotiating. *Even thinking about negotiating with these filthy wastes left a bad taste in her mouth* If you'd prefer to continue this course then the captive dies. You do not need her. You already have one of ours that I would like to see returned.

O-Ren~Ishii "I don't need a bowl of water to know how this is going to end Laniger..." she laughed, her voice echoing threw the halls. She smirked and stepped forward her body melting in the shadows once more as she moved into his room, right as her body appeared she cast a Energy Feild around herself. She smirked and looked at him.
"Looks like you caught yourself a friend..." she laughed but her eyes stayed glued to the ram. Her blood seemed to boil for every second she looked at him, it as almost as if she had forgotten how much she truelly hated the old man till now.

Spina's eyebrows arched as she grinned."Oh... I didn't come for the boy Laniger..." she she siad sourly, without moving her eyes of him. "I just came for a bit of fun with you." she laughed while taking a few more steps forward.
"Come now... Use that toy you call a weapon." she siad, her voice sounding sweet as if to temp him.

Aranea carressed Lutra's throat with her fingers, feeling the pulse beneath the girls warm skin. She seemed to consider what Lilium was saying;
'I will put the child down and negotiate only when the other two back off.' she stated.
'This request is NOT to be negotiated either. I wouldnt waste time trying to force me to do anything. If you continue to delay or cause harm to myself or my companion, then you will only seal your precious Muris's fate.' she smiled wickedly.
