To the rear of Issildia there came a familiar voice. One who's response suggested that he had heard the brief conversation between the two of them. His voice was as calm as the earth, but a strong feeling of anger could be sensed in his aura. It had been some time since Kuroha had been seen in such a state. His voice seemed to carry an echo that passed through the veils of both the Mortal and Nether Realms. His eyes were glowing a bright orange, and his aura was visible as sparks of crimson electricity danced around his body. He slowly stepped passed the two of them, and spoke with to them. His words carrying both advice and warning.
"My brother is far from defeated. The only thing they've accomplished was removing Azrielle from his body." He said as continued on his path. "I know what you're planning Issildia. If I were you, I'd tend to my army and prepare for the next attack, however, I knw you are not the one to do such a thing without first facing your foe. So here is a useful piece of advice." He stared back at her, and the full extent of his rage could be felt for the brief moment that their eyes met. "Do not get in my way."
With that, Kuroha's body was struck by a single bolt of crimson lightning which in turn caused him to disburse into the air in the form of a red dust. He seemed as though he were a different person in this state, but whatever he was planning, there was more to it than avenging his brother's death.

Silence fell on the area as Kuroha departed, though this lasted only a scant few moments before Issildia spoke. "Kyrion" She said in a seemingly mild tone, though her eyes never left where Kuroha had been standing. "You are your unit are to go to Gertea...to retrieve the forces stationed there."
The azerian looked slightly baffled at her words" There are no Iliriya in Gertea..."
Issildia had anticipated his response and interrupted him, her tone flat and unreadable. "No not Iliriya... the clan would not be strong enough to defeat the Infinitus in any respect...."
Kyrion seemed to catch what she was suggesting as a smirk crossed his face, "Understood" he said before he and the unit arrayed to his back disappeared in a hiss of shadow.
Issildia expression changed swiftly as they departed, turning grave, noting that the situation now stood upon a quickly narrowing edge. Her actions and especially those of Kuroha would greatly define which path the fates would choose.
Yet at the back of her mind she silently weighed the merit of Kuroha's words...espicially the mention of a former ally. One whose name she believed to have been long since condemed to death.
"Azrielle..."

In the audience hall of the Grand Citadel, Yige and his horsemen stood in wait. They had been awaiting for the awakenning of the enetity that they called origin...otherwise known as Azrielle Tatsumaru. Silence had befallen the chamber as the breaths of life pour back into his body. As he slowly sat up and climbed off of the perdastal where he lay, Azrielle could only laugh at the sight he had seen before him.
"Azure of the Cold Fire...our debt is settled." He said in a mildly sinister manner. "You...who are you."
"I am he who has granted you the gift of life once more Azrielle." Yige replied.
"Are you now? As I recall, it was a woman's voice I had heard."
"Indeed. Aurora casted the incantation, but it was I who restored your body to its former state." Yige stated with a proud tone. "I offer you..."
"What can you possibly offer me? I am Origin. I need nothing from the likes of you."
"On the contrary, Azrielle. Your body is not perfect. You are still infected." Yige suggested. "Only I can rid your body of the impurities which infest your blood."
"If that were the case, you would already be dead revenant. Your power is that of a child compared to my own. But now is not the time to argue over such trivial matters." He suggested as he looked past the crowd. "We have more important affairs to deal with...Isn't that right...Kuroha?
Just as Azrielle spoke his name, the Four Horsemen and their Leader turned to their rear, only to find Kuroha staanding at the threshold of the chamber, slowly making his way toward them all. His demeanor had completely changed, and it could be felt among the five of them.
"So you have awakened. Good." He said as he halted a few paces away from them. It has been quite some time since I felt a power that could rival my own.
"You...have you come to avenge your brother's death?" Emillious inquired.
"No. My motives are not so vague. I only reqiure two things. First, the Dragon's heart that you used to complete this ritual...and second...the soul of one Yige Yingzi."
"The dragon's heart is no longer in our possession, Kuroha." Emillious replied. "Why do you need it anyway?"
"Azure is not dead." Replied Aurora. "His body is only in a state of suspended animation."
"Well, I have an idea as to what he his planning. And I cannot allow you to perform such an act." Emillious said as he drew his weapon.
"Kuroha. I shall give you the dragon's heart in return of your services." Offered Azrielle. "Show me your true power. Remove these maggots from my sight."
"With pleasure."

Within the darkness that drifted about the edges of the chamber a form emerged that was outlined in a brief flicker of white as the Veil closed behind her. Issildia watched silently as Kuroha turned on the Horsemen and their leader. It was a fools errand to be certain, but there were things to be gained from such an encounter, things that she assumed Kuroha knew well enough of. Though soon enough Issildia's gaze turned away from the scene to what remained of Azure. Death had yet to truly take him it seemed, as his soul has yet to cross into the next world. But he had survived such things before, one could only hope that he would once again. Wordlessly she strode out of the shadows at a slow but deliberate pace her expression utterly unreadable as her eyes fell on one who she had not seen since before the fall of Anier. Someone that she had doubted to ever see again. But it seemed that this night was to be one of remembrance. Once more a past better left forgotten had been granted a new life.

The first of the horsemen to suffer Kuroha's wrath was Emillious. As he attacked, he found his movements halted by an intense heat which engulfed the area near his body. Once Emillious was in striking distance, Kuroha grabbed him by the throat, and lifted him off of the ground. The moment their skin made contact, Emillious's body was engulfed in flame. his agonizing screams echoed throughout the halls of the citadel. As his body desintegrated into ash, Tyranius and Aurora moved in to attack. Although they were not Yige's horsemen, they served as his personal unit of gaurds, known as the Black Zodiac, with Tyranius representing the Juggernaut, and Aurora representing the Jackal.
Aurora was an easy task, as she was still distraught with Azure's condition. Kuroha made quick work of her, banishing her body back into the Underworld. Tyruanuis on the other hand, moved in to attack Kuroha, his skin hardening into a mixture of stone once more. It was then that Kuroha drew his blade. He wung the blade across Tyranius's hardened skin, only find that against this beast, his weapon was useless. As he made a second attempt, Tyranius raised his hand and stopped theblade in mid motion, taking hold of it with his massive hands, and then in turn he took hold of Kuroha's throat slowly squeezing the air out of him. It had been a long time since kuroha had felt this kind of pain. his eyes were shut for the time being, but they were still hidden beneath the hat he wore. The heat that surronded his body had taken a second rise in temperature, only this time, the flames had appeared on his shoulders, dancing in recognition to the upcoming event.
Kuroha raised his left arm, and took hold of Tyranius's wrist, digging his fingers into his stone skin, and allowing the heat that engulfed his body to enter Tyranius's blood stream. Slowly his hold on him was loosened, but just enough for Kuroha to release his hold on his blade, and jam his hand into the open cavity in Tyranius's torso. It was then that the unthinkable had happened...Tyranius's hold on Kuroha's blade tightened, which in turn, caused his blade to shatter, completely. It was then that Kuroha returned his attention toward his brother's body.
he removed his hand from Tyranius's torso, and made three cutting motions into the air in Azure's direction. This caused his body to embalm itself in white flames, and disappear completely. Tyranius then poushed away from Kuroha, and slumped to his knees. The pain inflicted on him was more than he had expected from a man who has half his size. After he regained his composure, Kuroha stood normally and directed his anger toward Yige. However, before he could attack him...he was halted by an unexpected adversary....
"This one must not be touched, Kuroha." Azrielle stepped in front of Kuroha, barringhis path.
"Out of my way." He said in a threatening manner, however, Azrielle did not move.
"Use your head Kuroha. If you somehow manage to harm Yige, in any way, you are threatening the very existence of Azure. Then all your efforts would be for nothing. Need I remind you that Yige now bears the Insignia of Hades?"
Kuroha did not seem pleased with Azrielle's words, but it did not stop him from being absolutely correct. If Hades did not exists there would be no hopes in reviving Azure. He had accomplished what he had come for, all that remained was to obtain the dragon's heart that he desired.
"Where is Seiryu's heart?"
"It should still be on the altar in the chamber below. Take it and go. Yige will not follow...I shall see to that."
"You seem confident Azrielle." Yige stated as Kuroha departed.
"You forget Yige. I am one bound to the cycle. Even you have your Origins, and they can be removed with a mere thought."
"Perhaps. So what would my lord do in such a situation." Yige said sarcastically.
"You will see soon enough. For now, you had best tend to your own faction. The next time, I may not have the leverage to stop them."

“You are leaving again…” Demitri said calmly from where he stood with his back turned to the scattered array of people trying to tend to the aftermath of the battle, though his comment was obviously directed at a specific person.
“There are things that I must see to, you know this.” Issildia said solemnly.
“Is this not of importance then…”
“Do not twist my words….I will do everything within my power to set right what has been done to you Demitri, but until Damien has been captured you are a risk. And for the moment little can be done.” She countered before turning away to leave.
“You have changed.” He said almost too quietly to hear; his voice held an unfamiliar anger.
Issildia stopped in her stride for a moment, looking back slightly, her eyes dark. “As have you…”

It did not take Kuroha long to find the altar that Azrielle spoke of...in fact it almost seemed too easy. The area was desolate, and the artifact was in plain sight. There was no trace of hosilitiy in the air...at least not yet. As he approached the altar, he could feel the coldness eminating from the container in which the artifact was concealed. He did however notice that there were several large stalagmites of ice around the altar. Although it was not clear, but the sillouettes of several creatures coudl be seen within. Kuroha remained on guard as he reached for the container. As his skin made contact with the enchanted case, he was stunned as his arm began to freeze over with ice.
It did not take him long to clam himself, as he began to raise his own body temperature to prevent himself from being completely frozen. The ice itself had stopped midway up his arm, and had begun to melt as he slowly lifted the container from its place at the altar. The heat within his body had begun to affect the envronment around him as the stalagmites had begun to melt. Once the container was safely away fromt he altar, Kuroha lepat backwards, and watched as a large icicle erupted from the altar's base, destroying it completely. It was then that Kuroha allowed his body temperature to return to normal as he opened the container. The heart was still beating, and it had taken on an azure hue, almost as if there was no oxegen flowing through it. As he closed the container and made his way out of the chamber, the sound of shattering glass halted his movements.
He slowly turned to his rear, only to find that the icicles that were once there had been broken...and the creatures that were incased inside, gone. This did not bode well. Kuroha did not know what to make of such an event, but judging by the size of the holes, these creatures were large, and there were at least five of them. He could hear a faint grownign sound about the area, and decided that it'd be best he left. Once he exited the level and returned to the ritual hall, he noticed that it was completely empty. Yige, and his horsemen, along with Azrielle, had all vanished, but something was amidst. He could not place his finger on it quite yet, but his instincts told him that he would not be able to walk out so easily.

As the sounds of the unleashed beasts could be sensed within the chamber, the air at the entrance to the room rippled slightly , as though a small tear in reality was being created.
"Go and see to your brother." Said a female voice within the dark as the air once again became still.
"I will contend with these creatures" Issildia said lowly as she drew her blade Nyth, now emerging from the darkness; Silver fire alighting along her sword’s length. Slowly she moved past Kuroha, not giving him a second glance, her cloak rustling slightly as she lowered the dark cowl.
Looking back to catch him in the corner of her eye she spoke.
"I will not see him lost..." she said softly. "Now go."

Kuroha wasted no time in enterring the rift in reality that Issildia had created for him. They were all denizens of the Astral Plane, but it was Azure who was guardian of the Rim. He had more than once suffered a fate similar to this, but this time there was one factor that would determine the severity of his fate. The power that he wielded at Origin's discreation had been passed on to Azrielle. Where Azure's soul had travelled was far from the rim itself. If Yige had any part to play in his fate, he was most likely being escorted to the Ninth Gate of the Underworld. If Kuroha could return his heart to his body, before he passed through the gate, perhaps he could cheat fate once more, and return to this plain, though it was obvious that he would not be given the same gifts he had received in the past.

The air became cooler within the gaping chamber, though no opening were present in the room a fleeting wind rippled about the area. A slight smirk came to Issildia's face as the air around her flickered with energy, like the heralding of a storm.
"It has been some time since I had the honor of facing one of your kind. So I am certain that this shall prove to be most interesting." She said coolly. It was then that she suddenly moved forward with startling speed, turning in mid advance and bringing her blade down upon scaled flesh, leaving a searing gash along the large reptilian creature's back. There was a somewhat startled beastly scream from the creature, upon which Issildia turned away briefly to catch sight of another similar beast diving through the air from the rafters of the chamber towards her.
Without pause Issildia's form disappeared in a shudder of shadow, like the still of a vast lake being disturbed by a freely cast stone.
The second dragon landed where it's prey had formerly been, its keen eyes catching sight of a shadow darting through the ceiling's iron beams. By this time the two creatures were joined by a third that emerged from the left. "Even the Keeper can not evade our lord forever." the first said with a thin hardly human voice, though the sound did not emanate from the beast's throat but more was some sort of telepathy.
"Our master has returned to the mortal realm, there will be no shelter from his wrath. There is no fleeing from that which has become unbound." the second said stoically.
Issildia suddenly reappeared before the creatures; a curious almost entertained expression presided over her features.
"Don't worry...I wont be going anywhere."
At that moment a furious wind came to life within the chamber, shattering the elaborate windows and letting in the dark starlight. Silver flames came to life along the edges of the wind which now wrapped around the entirety of the room, and soon consumed it creating a cyclone of constantly shifting hues of silver. The wind wound together tightly, Issildia standing unharmed in the mist of it all. She stood with her blade sheathed and her arms lifted nearly to shoulder level crossed vertically at the wrists.
"You fool." the third said darkly as Issildia suddenly released her hold on the wind and it lashed outwards, enveloping the entirety of the complex in white flames.
Only a matter of seconds passed before silenced enveloped the area and the wind and fire died out, a rain of ash cascading from the sky.

Deep within the Astral Plane, there an altar was present. A white flame burned on this altar, was Azure's body, which had been in a state of suspension, began to rematerialize from the flame. The guardian of this altar had long since been defeated during the battle with the Ryera. Kuroha was still quite far from his position, and if he did not act fast, the Githyanki, and other denizens of this plane would find his body a suitable trophy, if not a meal. Time was of the essence, and Kuroha could not afford to be stalled any longer. As he started to sprint in the direction of the altar,, he could feel the heat returning to the heart he held in his hand. He could not make out if it was reacting to the presence of its own body, or if his soul had something to do with it, either way, now was not the time for questioning, only action.

As Issildia turned away from the slowly dying cinder within the chamber a form garbed in a dark cloak bearing the insignia of the Iliriya appeared from the darkness.
"Sabela, I want your unit to pursue the enemy, tactical information is paramount at the moment." Issildia said with her back turned to the figure.
"But what about their motive in being here." The other woman asked from where she knelt a short distance away, her face shadowed by the cowl of her cloak.
"After what they have done, little mystery remains concerning such things." She replied shortly, as though distracted by something else.
"Return to the stronghold within three days with whatever you can find."
"Three days is hardly enough time to..." Sabela protested looking up abruptly.
"The one who leads the Infinitus is not to be underestimated, he will be aware of your presence the moment you arrive...Three days is more than enough...Now go." Issildia said, her tone patient but held a sharp edge that made the celtarie soldier aware that she was done with her questions. A subtle brush of wind was all that remained when Sabela disappeared back into the darkness.
