Phoenix nodded to Nirah. "You've done good.." She turned back to her mate and shook her head. "Always the one to pick fights..." She teased, more for herself then to ease the tension in the air. "We'll have to get you back to the den so you can heal properly..."

The alpha was all to eager to get back and rest, the sooner the better, but the trip wasn't going to be a fun one. "Yeah, that's me", he joked back quietly, though the trail of events still played on in his head, and he knew it was serious. Nudging slightly at Phoenix he noticed Mirah and gave her a slightly wolfish grin, before deciding to turn and walk as straight as he could towards the pack lands. Once an alpha with pride, always an alpha with pride.

Phoenix shook her head, watching her mate head towards the pack lands. She looked to the other two. "Might as well get the deer back to the pack lands...I'm sure it would not be a pleasant feeling to leave it behind for others."

Mirah smiled, and nodded towards the Alpha. She felt relieved now that Phoenix had arrived and helped to get Intyran home. Without him, the whole pack would fall apart.
"Phoenix, umm...I suppose Namir and I can get the deer home, you and Intyran should go ahead. The faster he gets home the better." Mirah said.

The prideful wolf was trying his best to keep steady pawfalls on the ground, the last thing he wanted was to expose weakness to the pack. What would they think? He didn't like the grim thoughts his mind was taking him to, and tried to bury them away by pressing down harder onto the ground; which only served to punish his berated side. Flicking his ears back slightly he caught a few words spoken by the two females, and he hoped silently that Phoenix would come with him.

"You two grab the deer..." She looked at Namir and sensed he'd be a stubborn one. "And that's an order from your alphaess." She turned to let them grab the deer, though she was more worried about her mate then she was about the hunt. She caught up with him easily and nuzzled him gently, careful of his wounds. "You're so stubborn..." She said as she stayed by him.

Intyran felt her nuzzle and sighed, it felt good to be with her and not have to worry about the pack and what they would think if they saw him like this. "I'm stubborn because I have to be", he told her gently, and knew when he got back he would need to asemble the pack. Rules had be laid down for their own safety now that there was a potentially dangerous loner about.

"You were always stubborn...it's only one trait that makes you wonderful." She gave him a small smile. Something had happened and she was sure she wasn't going to get details until they were in the den where he could rest.

He felt joy at that, it was always a good thing to hear instead of being put down some how. But he couldn't really wag his tail at it, for his back would punish him harshly. Walking itself was hard on his side and bleeding wound; he hadn't realized the pack's den was so far away. Or so it seemed to him.

They had barely got to the packland's boundaries that secured the den area before she made her way to the den itself and was making a bed out of leaves and grass and whatever she could find. Her ears flickered back and forth, swaying as she kept her hearing and sense of smell.
A few of the outside pack members whispered softly, questionung amongst themselves as to what happened to their alpha. Phoenix retreated back to her mate's side only to growled a low warning to the rest of the pack for silence.

The alpha made his way to the bed his mate had taken the time to make for him, but he was not deaf. He heard the soft whispers of his pack mates, and found himself staring down at the bed of leaves and growth with morbid dark eyes. If he lay down to let himself heal, would they think him weak? He despised the very thought of weak, him, Intyran, the alpha of a growing pack! But his body would not allow him to defy the pain, the brutal twinge and burn that spread through his back and side. His head was very light, and for once he found it hard to think, which only frustrated him further. Finally unable to resist it the alpha lay his bloody body on the bed Phoenix, finished or not he need to get off his paws. But those dark eyes of his were as intense as ever, it was apparent he was about to speak of something very serious. Raising his muzzle as high as he dared he gave a shrill bark, calling the pack (or whom that were available) to his side to listen to his tale.

Phoenix walked in first taking her place at his side but watching their growing pack emerge into the den. She shifted, on the alert for anything.
