our highschool is considering to get an ROTC i hope they do i want to be in it and i have a question is ROTC for all branches or are they in special ones like NROTC for Navy or AFROTC for airforce ect

Like..for every school you will have a branch of JROTC. For example..our school has a AFJROTC. A school like 30 minutes south has a NJROTC and so forth.

oh so if our school just gets ROTC(which is for army isnt it?) then i couldnt join because i would have to be in the marines ROTC?

Hey i am a first liuetenant in the army jrotc and have been in the air force for three years were i got to be drill,color,flight,guidon,flag detail and squadron commander. I wasnt that bosy jrotc is the best and know I am first platoon leader for charle company last year i was staff . conclusion jrotc rocks the air force rules.

Well I say that jrotc is the best thing as the cadet with the most experience in my school coming from the air force and know army we just have halloween parade and it was awesome. I am a plattoon leader and in my last school I was and S-6 and in the other school I was a sqadron commander and in charge of every group

Hey I say that this is my last year in jrotc and i having so much fun well after i graduate i am going to join the air force rotc and become a 2lt in the air force. hey some body wants to debate good look to all the fresh mans have fun in the program and respect your officers , be the best you can be and the best in you r group.

Our Colonel needs to retire..hes scatterbrained, has no tolerance for kids and is confusing.
