Cabel could only hope that Nienna's attention was on the landscape and that she wouldn't notice the deep blush creeping across his cheeks. That...and his natural coloring helped.
Handsome? Him? The concept seemed completely foreign to him. It was a bit much for him to try and believe, but he was flattered nonetheless.
He watched her for a moment, watched as she took in the scenery for the first time, and tried to imagine how new it all must be for her. It was simply mind-boggling.
Slowly, he moved closer, sliding his hand over hers. Grinning sheepishly, he leaned over into her line of sight, catching her gaze with his own.
"Thank you."
Though it may have sounded like his response to her compliment, it was so much more than that. He couldn't begin to tell her all that she had done for him already...but he could certainly thank her for it.
He gently lifted her chin, closing his eyes as he pressed his lips to hers.

Nienna gasps against his lips only out of surprise from being kissed. Smiling against his lips she return the kiss. Her hands turning under his so she could hold them. This felt right, here being here with Cabel.
Silently thanking the guardians she pulls back alittle blushing alittle as she looks down at the water "Your welcome Master Cabel" glancing back up she leans forward laying her head on his shoulder. No matter what she was going to remember this day forever.

Cabel smiled, pulling her close to him and running his fingers through her loose hair. He cradled her head gently, resting his cheek against her hair and just savoring this quiet moment together, alone. "You're the sweetest Pae I've ever known," he blurted after a while, grinning sheepishly. he leaned back, wanting to look into her eyes once more; those beautiful, deep, and soulful eyes.
He could happily get lost in those eyes forever.

Turning her hand she lightly kisses at his palm before pulling back to rest pn her knees again. Watching him she smiles "Me sweet? And here I thought you were the sweet one." lifting her hands she runs them through her hair before pulling it back into a loose ponytail.
Looking around again she breathes in slowly "I see why you like this place. Its so calm and peaceful, like nothing could cause a single problem here." turning back she lifts her hands splashing him a few times before placing them behind her back.

Cabel chuckled softly, raising his hand to shield his face from the splashing water. "Yes...beautiful, no?" He smirked and it was hard to tell if he was referring to the beach...or the other 'scenery.'
Chuckling, he moved to sit beside her, wrapping his arm around her waist and holding her close. He sighed contentedly, looking out over the water at first, then back to the beautiful fae by his side. This fae, who was not only the most beautiful and sweetest Pae he'd ever known, but also responsible for this new feeling inside. The feeling that maybe he wasn't such an outsider afterall. Maybe...he belonged somewhere. And that 'somewhere' was right here, beside her.
For the first time in his life, he felt truely happy. Like nothing could ever take away this wonderful feeling and the sense that no matter what, everything would somehow be okay. He smiled, half-intoxicated by the peace that had washed over him. He closed his eyes, leaning his head against Nienna's and murmured, "I love you." He never hesitated; it just seemed to flow so naturally from his lips.

Nienna simply nodded to his question about the place being beautiful. It was in her eyes, but from what she had seen coming here it seem most of the isle was. She felt content with just sititng here with Cabel.
Relaxing next to him when his arm wrapped around her waist it was until she heard him say those three words then she seem to stiffen. It was mostly out of shock as she wasn't expecting it at all. Turning her head she looks at him studying his eyes.
She was looking for a hint that maybe he was kidding with her. But somehow she knew he wasn't. Deep down inside she knew even those words were right as they seem to pull at her. With a smile she relaxes against him once more "I love you too." they were soft, but she knew he would hear them.

Cabel grinned, his heart soaring at her words. He hadn't meant to pressure her or anything by saying what he did, but somehow he sensed that wasn't the case. That she honestly felt the same as he did. The mere thought made him feel...strange, but it was a good sort of strange. He almost felt like purring and the idea made him chuckle softly.
Holding Nienna close by his side, he nuzzled her hair lovingly, her soothing scent flooding his senses. He'd give anything to be able to stay close to her like this forever, though he knew that thought was a little silly. Nevertheless, a growing warmth seemed to surround his heart, calming and encouraging the fae. Sighing contentedly, he closed his eyes, focusing only on the fae femme at his side and the waves that washed around them. "So...where do we go from here, do you think?" he murmured quietly.

Thinking for a moment Nienna glances up at Cabel grinning "Well I guess you would call me your girlfriend?" pausing she tries to think if that was the right term. She had never used it before but had heard it once.
With a smile she leans up brushing her lips against his cheek "No matter the word. You have my heart is what I am trying to say." pulling back she stands brushing the sand away before she kicks alittle water at him. With a giggle she takes off running along the lake.

Cabel laughed, shielding his face from the water. "Hey! Come back here!" He scrambled to his feet, throwing sand and water behind him as he took off after the running Fae. She had a headstart on him, but he wouldn't let that discourage him. Scooping up his staff and tossing it onshore in one swift movement, he made a note to retrieve it later...after he'd done the same with his 'girlfriend.' Grinning to himself, he dashed headlong through the shallow water, splashing along parallel to the shoreline. The chase was on.

Giggling she glances over her shoulder for a moment before she continues to run down the shore. She was enjoying the fact that she didn't have wo worry about anything for now. Her long hair sweepig across her face as her wings flutter behind her. Turning for a moment she blow a kiss at Cabel before she giggles "You won't catch me Master Cabel."

Cabel laughed in reply, pantomiming catching the kiss. "We'll see about that, little girl!" he teased back, grinning. He couldn't remember having this much fun in a long time...if he ever HAD had this much fun. His heart felt like it would nearly burst with happiness and he only wished this day could last forever.
His wings fluttered as he put on a burst of speed, aiming to close the gap between them. "I'm gonna' get yoooou!" he taunted in a sing-songy voice, trailing off in laughter at himself.

Seeing Cabel speed up she gasp then turns back around running as fast as her legs could carry her. Her wings flutter rather fast but she doesn't lift off the ground. Kicking up thr water she was trying to least make this a good chase. Afterall she had a huge feeling she wouldn't be able to outrun him, not like this at least.

The water provided quite a bit of resistance against running and the sand certainly wasn't helping. Cabel wasn't about to let that stop him, however. He pushed on, giving it his all, though he tried to hide his exertion. She was fast...but so was he. Grinning, he put on another burst of speed, adrenaline helping to fuel his competitive spirit. He was closing the gap slowly, but surely, grinning all the while.

She was slowing down, only because running was finally getting to her. Glancing back she squeeks knowing she wouldn't be able to hold out for much longer. Turning straight ahead again she takes a deep breath determine to hold out for alittle longer. She knew he was going to catch her here shortly.

Cabel grinned, closing in on Nienna as she slowed, fighting not to do the same. "Alright, you're mine!" He grinned, taking a flying leap and wrapping his arms around her waist. Using his wings to slow and manipulate their impending fall, he aimed to take the hit on his shoulder and cushion her with his own body, laughing all the while.
