i saw a person the other day with a bumper sticker that said "Health Care Before Olympics!". what do other British Columbians think of this? because we have been waiting a LONG time for the Olympics to come to Vancouver, and i can't wait. though when i was choking on a peice of apple i had to sit in the waiting room at the hospital for 4 hours, so better health care would be very nice.

By Bluebeards nunchuckas! ............sorry, I just really wanted to say that. sweatdrop
The Olympics V.S Health Care, eh? I don't know. The Olympics would be very nice indeed. Better health care would be very nice also. In the end, I'd settle for a good pie and me handy DS.

Hellos all. I'm from Richmond, meaning I get hardcore culture-shocked whenever I travel out of this city. Seriously, three days ago was the first time I've walked into a Tim Hortons in 6 years. I have a theory that when the whole earth was still all hardcore one landmass PANGEA, Richmond was right beside ancient prehistoric Hong Kong. And somehow as the centuries passed, this bit of land broke off and floated over with North America. So uh, that is why asian immigrants are magnetically attracted to this area.
Yeah, that was a tiny rant. Is Richmond considered to be a reasonably-sized city British-Columbia wise?

Is anyone here from Victoria? If so, do you know where I'm talking about when I mention the lighthouse-store near the docks? And there's that really good ice cream place right in the middle of the dock like right next to it? And there's that guy who dresses up in grey like a statue and puts a white mask on and stands still, but then when people drop money in his basket he comes to life and starts sqeaking? That is my FAVORITE place in all of BC!!! (I'm from Alberta, nice to meet you!)
