Deissdaemonea Hmn...Well, I don't have a name for my flute, alto sax, or the borrowed tenor sax just yet. But my plume (on my hat. It's yellow), it's name is Big Bird. >>; And I will soon need a name for a bassoon, for I am going to learn bassoon. Ooo..bassoon. I heard its pretty hard. About the same as oboe, I think cause they are almost the same except bassoon is WAY bigger. Big Bird. I like that! biggrin

Let's see.. I named my sousaphone "Ding" because that's the sound he makes when I ram him into the door frame sweatdrop but I haven't named my concert tuba... but I did try to play tenor sax for a bit and I named him Stan. 3nodding

I think my trumpets should have names. But I don't have a clue what to name them. Suggestions, anyone?
Trumpet A: Bach student-line
Used to have a massive dent in the bell tube
Gold, but worn off where fingers are
7 years old this December
Trumpet B: Silver Yamaha intermediate
Still shiny and new, despite being more than a year old, since it gets polished religiously after every time I play it.

I have absolutely no idea what to name your trumpets. I'm running low on names. Sorry!
Um...I don't think running your instrument into the doorframe is a good idea. biggrin Anyway, I have a friend named Yiding, but since she's Chinese and no one can pronouce her name, she has everyone call her Ding-Ding. And now we just all call her Ding. Its quite funny.

Well it's not my fault I can't fit that monstrocity through the door! I don't normally hit it.. but when I do, that's the noise it makes. I actually thought of the name last year at our invitational when a color guard was crossing through me and another sousaphone when the end of her flag banged right into the back of my bell so hard that I bent forward and it made a really loud ding-noise x_x;; you can hear it on the video on the website ><

Phillip!!! *hugs* That's my clarinet's name (pronounced Fil-eep). Well, i guess i shouldnt say my clarinet singular. I have a R-13 Buffet and a Vito. The Vito was my very first....thats Squeak...yea...and the Eb's name is Timmy....like Tiny Tim....anyways, other instrument names for my friends are:
Nephlink (for Nephrite and Link) - Clarinet
Steven - Clarinet
Sir William - Alto Sax
Billy - Electric Guitar
Geffrey - Acustic Guitar
Big Papa - Contra Alto clarinet
Little Daddy - Bass clarinet
Oprah - Alto Sax

Trumpet A: Alfred or Bachardi(like the liquor wink ) Trumpet B: Silvia ... that's all I could come up with Anyway, today I got the band's brand new cornet for concert season. To continue the legacy of naming my instruments after FFVII characters, it has been given the name Hojo. *sniff* I'm so happy. *hugs cornet* heart
