i dont know about older guys, or classical (i like mozart!), but im WAY into movie soundtracks. and I would have to say that my ALL TIME FAVROITE composer is Hans Zimmer. I just think he is absolutly BRILLIANT!

My favorite composer is probably Gustav Holst and my favorite composition by him is probably Second Suite in F. All. Four. Movements.

edvard grieg also made some creepily cool tunes.

I'd have to say my favorite composer is Mahler, I absolutely love his first symphony [the titan symphony] and his last symphony, the adagio. Gorgous work :]!
one of my other all time favorite composers has got to be Gershwin, his music is what opened doors musically, and its unique too. I love 'i've got rhythm' and 'an american in paris'.
But in general it all depend son the song, theres some of mahler i might not like an all sooo yeah

I love most of Beethoven's pieces! His life story is also amazing and unique. Who else could compose such works of art while losing the very sence needed to listen to the finished product let alone make it.
