He stepped backward as the boy collided with him, narrowly avoiding hitting the larger of the two to whom he had been talking. "Oh, I'm sorry!" he said quickly, stepping forward to see if the other was alright. "Are you okay?" he asked, concerned.

Soubi had come to notice the newest member of the growing group already, seeing that he was facing toward them. He reached out to steady Yuki while giving a side-glance at Aiko, "You really should watch where you're going." He took a drag from his cigarette and placed a hand on Ritsuka's shoulder, who had seemed to grow silent. "Are you alright?" He asked curiously, looking at the boy.

Aiko smiled and nodded. Yes, i'm fine. I'm sorry, I was being careless, not looking where I was going... Quite a group I stumbled into." He seemed uneasy, his eyes kept veering over to the adult, and something seemed familliar about the other two... "Hey, I... I think I've seen you before..."

Yuki shrugged. "If you have, I never noticed you... But I don't tend to notice much..." He smiled in a slightly self-loathing way. "People say I'm a bit of an introvert... I guess they're right, because I don't tend to notice... stuff."

((I'd imagine it would be a different school now, since they're older. Ritsuka is sixteen and I think Yuki is seventeen..?))
Soubi watched the kids with mild interest, smoking his cigarette. His plans with Ritsuka had pretty much diminished back to hopeful plotting, but things like this did take time anyway. The ears were cute anyhow, but eventually he would have them. At the time being, he really didn't feel like going home though.. His roommate was driving him mad..

Aiko nodded in agreement. "Yeah I suppose I am as well..." Then he turned to Soubi finally. His nerves were killing him and he had to say something, so he wen't for the most stupid blunt thing in his vocabulary. "Your a fighter aren't you?" He crossed his arms and looked from him to Ritsuka.

He listened to Aiko's talk. 'Fighter...?' he thought curiously. Being a fighter was part of one's nature and was not usually somehing that could be recognized at once. He frowned slightly in confusion.

Soubi blinked a little, looking at Aiko suspiciously. "Why would you say that..?" He asked, one hand raising subconciously to check the wrap around his neck was securely there. Satisfied, he took another drag and dropped the cigarette, crushing it with the heel of his shoe. "Who're you?"

Aiko blushed and looked away. "That was a bit abrupt, huh? I'm sorry, I've just been searching, you know?" He shook his head. "I can tell though, I always get a sort of twinge... Oh, my name is Aiko." He gave a small smile, then looked over at Yuki a little unsure. He wouldn't give his real name to just anyone, especially since he didn't have a fighter. Sometimes his mouth just got ahead of his brain though.

Aiko sighed and shook his head. He should have just kept his mouth shut. He really didn't think he was the person who should explain it though. Not having found his partner yet, and this adult seemed to be quite strong. He felt vulnerable suddenly. What if the fighter considered him a threat? Well, maybe not a threat, but a nieusance anyway...? Would he attack?

Soubi leaned against a nearby tree, lighting another cigarette (that chainsmoker..) pale blue eyes watching the two carefully. "You shouldn't talk about such things around those who are ignorant of it." He looked up to Aiko over the rim of his glasses, putting his lighter back in his pocket. Soubi leaned against the tree, then gave a quizzical look to Yuki. He had that strange sort of.. sense.. that a Sacrifice had. Could it really be the boy didn't know..?
