haha my '06 show is called "Dreamers", which is supposed to represent the emotions and coming into age of a teenager...featuring the songs of Styx and Supertramp... songs being:
1) Dreamer-Supertramp 2) Renegade-Styx 3) Hide in Your Shell-Supertramp (This is actually my guess at what it's called...my director played the song for us a couple weeks ago, but didnt tell us the name of it...i just went by memory and searched out the greatest hits cd for supertramp hahaha) 4) Fooling Yourself-Styx
Kinda sucks in my opinion having a Styx show minus Mr. Roboto haha...but it sounds like it'll be some fun anyway

This year, my school's doing "Phantom of the Piano Studio." It's pretty neat, it's jazz variations of In The Hall of the Mountain King, Chopsticks, and one other one... I forget what it's called.
Our show last year was awesome, it was Riverdance. I luffed it a lot.

We have this whole Latin bull fighter theme. The songs include: Macho Nacho El Cumancherro Stiletto And possible a drum feature.
It's going to be grand if the teacher can figure out some how we're going to march it.

My director wanted to do that when he was really pissed, so he wrote out the parts, and later listened to it...it sounded like s**t...so now we're doing ABBA : Tribute to the musical Mama Mia

I haven't heard of our show title, but we started work back in February. We're playing three songs done in the past by the Madison Scouts: Lupin, The Summer Knows, and Ballet in Brass.

DrkMerchant Do you guys get to chant during it? I really want to make an arrangement of it for concert band. Sure do! It's supposed to be only the guys doing it, but we don't have enough to do that. Our last Band Director, who picked out the show before he left, wanted to bring in people from the choir. I thought that was a horrible idea and am glad that our new BD isn't going to do that.
