"It might be gone," she said, slowing her pace to a quick walk so Dusk could put the pig down and still let it keep up. "but we might as well check it out. It's better than wandering aimlessly without knowing where we're going." she explained.
"Luckily the forest isn't far from here. See, you can just see it on the horizon." She said, squinting and pointing in the direction they were travelling in. Sure enough there was a dark green smudge far off on the horizon.
"We'll probably get their by nightfall." Toshi explained.

Dusk set the pig down with an apology, and quickly moved up so he was by Toshi's side. He nodded to everything she said, and when she had finished he took her hand in his own, a way to feel safe and also one of his only ways to show affection towards someone or something.
"That would be really good, and I do really hope that it's still there. I would like to think we can have fun without being gone for so long, since I know Kachan and Ha-kachan must be missing us."
