It made Monique very happy to see that her strategy of being Lavana’s illusory doppelgänger actually confused them. Dim Sun indeed… She struggled to stifle a giggle as she saw two grunts turn the Pokémon at their command against each other. This makes for a good distraction—

Monique stopped. There was a massive spike that she could feel viscerally, like a cool breeze or a sensation of darkness. But the room was not any less hot. It was a feeling that was alien to the Zoroark hybrid. She’d only been a Dark-type for a few years and had only recently learned a bit of how to control that side of her. Something was wrong, and only she could feel it. There was a sudden shift in the tenor and tone of the battle, but shielded by the bickering Dim Sum grunts, she had no idea what had happened.

“Attention criminals!” an unfamiliar voice, apparently amplified sound and not broadcast by psychic relay, called out. “You are being taken into custody by S.W.I.P.E.! Do not attempt to resist arrest, do not attempt to obstruct our duties, and do not attempt to flee! Team Snagem and Team Dim Sun, I repeat, please put your hands on your head, drop your weapons, and cooperate!”

Well, that explains something. “Who do you think you are?” Monique growled, so incensed that she did not bother trying to put on Lavana’s voice. That phrasing ate at her like Salazzle poison at a Steel-type. After all, King Faba’s royal guards called some pretty fine people “criminals” simply because they had no appetite for his rule. Meanwhile, forces from this unfamiliar unit that proclaimed itself to be S.W.I.P.E. poured into the space, and Monique’s Malamar—still out on the battlefield, though not at her side—started rebroadcasting an unfamiliar and different type of static interference. This was different from whatever equipment Dim Sun had on hand, but again, she had no idea what it was other than to assume it was related to this outfit.

Then she saw a hybrid grunt for Dim Sun get wrapped by a familiar, sleek black collar, its deep darkness only being one thing. Her heart sank. Suppression collars. They were one of the many “innovations” that Cipher had saddled her world with. Flower City’s dungeons used these ebonite-infused restraints as instruments of “pacification” and torture. It was an open secret, especially beyond the city walls and in places like Sub Rosa where people talked. Some of her fellow employees had the misfortune of being apprehended and put in the dungeons, their abilities disconnected by collar, turned into instruments of forced labor and occasionally examples to keep the populace in check. She recalled Tani the Hypno. She spent a year in the dungeons under collar, and it affected her mental functions so severely as a Psychic-type that she was unable to return to work.

But wait. They run only on ebonite. Back when Monique was a human, that was something to be afraid of. But now? As the grunts were apprehended, it was only a matter of time before they turned to “Lavana”. Monique’s temper was rising, much like magma seconds from eruption. She thought of what these collars had been part of. Part of everything that had gone wrong in her world. The product of people who were undeserving to be referred to as such, whose “innovations” were underpinnings of the Smog.

“You have no idea what you’re doing to all of us!” she barked. At this point, she still looked like Lavana, but the voice was unmistakably the sheriff of New Po. “None at all!” Someone was going to approach her. And she was ready to put up a fight. Sensing her Trainer’s ire, Malamar moved closer, ready to join her in the fight. Her illusion was fragile. She’d blown her voice cover, and if they knew the Pokémon Lavana had on hand, the Overturning Pokémon fit poorly into her profile.

If this continued any longer, Boyle Volcano was about to be renamed Mt. Kaʻanaʻana.

The second I sensed the urge to detain us, I told Rala to teleport Keiko and I to HQ so I could heal her burn in peace. Keiko had been through enough as it was - having to push through Return with Frustration to put a stop to the hypnosis machine put a massive toll on her body, and the burn wasn't helping. She was already unconscious and I wasn't about to let her deal with being incarcerated, as well. Unfortunately, Rala had to inform me that she couldn't make sense of the world outside of this cave. It had been a long time since she's had this problem, but I knew right away what the culprit was. Teleportation scramblers. So I thanked her for trying and put her back in her ball. I then went back to healing Keikio.

Absinthe just glared at the glorified police force and glared. "Aight, Angela, second verse, same as the-" she started to say. "No," I said flatly, drawing both the attention and the ire of the young Deathrage. "You're going to condemn us all if you fight back. Just let it happen. All we can do is to try and help them see reason," I tried to explain. Abby growled in disgust, but she recalled her Blaziken. "If this goes south, I'm coming for you, first," she cursed under her breath as the handcuffs were being slammed onto her wrists.

Fortunately by the time those who sought to incarcerate us got to me, Keiko had been patched up to the best of my abilities. "She's unconscious, and can't walk on her own," I explained to them as my own wrists were shackled. I made no effort to resist arrest, and thankfully, Abby didn't seem to be, either.

More and more chaos started erupting. As several explosions happened, Ulla made barriers in the air to stop from debry falling on any of her comrades. While she was doing that, Togekiss and Hisuian Zorura were protecting her from any Pokemon that tried to stop her from concentrating. Then suddenly, she heard a new commotion happening. She heard several clicks and some grunts with their hands up. "What's going on?" She said as she looked around and noticed Blizz and Darts have a collar on them. That's when she heard the announcement of S.W.I.P.E. She quickly hoisted up Zorura on her shoulder as more and more people were being incarcerated. The fairy child looked around for Sub to see what their orders were.

Looker? Why is he here? Something is not right....and more matter of fact. They wanted to go to HQ? Once S.W.I.P.E came around to Ulla's direction, Zorura flared up and was growling. Ulla calmed down her Pokemon as she looked at Togekiss as it merely nodded and returned to his Pokeball on his own. "It's okay. I'm surrendering...Wouldn't want all of Fairy Realm to be upset with me." She said as she raised her arms. They weren't so keen on their guardian going back to the real world. But Ulla insisted as she wanted human interaction. That's when they shot the collar on her as she stepped back from the weight difference. "Is this really necessary? I've surrendered." She said as she looked around to see all of her other teammates started to get locked up. First mission back and already incarcerated? Must be a new record. She then noticed Ter and the unconscious Keiko. She clenched her fist as she knew she shouldn't make any sudden movements to set them off.

"Mama...Papa..."

Crystal would turn to the sound of the explosion, eyes wide as the agents came in and collared Freth, followed by Kess coming in to fight Blizz and him getting collared as well. There was a streak of her wanting to fight the Zapdos hybrid, one that popped up back when she traveled with Reno and Aden in Ultra Space and encountered the one Blizzard variant, and one that almost certainly popped up whenever Crystal and Darts had their spats during the past year. She would take a step forward, but the sound of the arrest announcement stopped her. Arrested?! What for? Where was the reasoning?! Before she could rethink the plan of action, she saw more agents coming towards her, cracking her knuckles as she let her frustration fuel her once more. The Solgaleo hybrid would run forward and throw a punch at the first agent she came across, trying to crack the screen of the helmet. The next person to attack her would get an elbow to the gut, and then a leg to someone else’s knee, all in the name of her not getting captured. Within the fracas, however, someone managed to jump onto her back and-

Click.

She felt her arms fall to her sides, and her body began to fall forward, even without the little lock sliding forward. Panic would set in fast as her eyes looked down to her body, seeing them not respond to any of her movements. Second body, but she never imagined she would have a similar feeling of loss of control as back in Galar. Mentally, she was screaming, pleading to her body to move, but nothing happened, not even movement of her mouth. And then the little symbol slid into place.

Her vision went black rapidly, feeling like she was getting pulled through a void, or an unlit Ultra Space. The woman would blink once, then found herself on a stormy beach suddenly, the rain coming down so hard that she could barely see in front of her. “What the? Where… That collar, it was made out of Ebonite…” Her eyes widened as the realization hit her. She had assumed that she used psychic abilities more often than not for basic functions of her body, like movement, since she assumed was just a metal shell covering a cosmic dust body. But just even seeing around her and existing in reality… Did she use her psychic abilities just to exist? Light, she was so screwed. So, this place she was in now… Did her subconscious create this for a place to be just so she didn’t go insane? What the hell was going on? And when would she be able to leave? It might have been her imagination, but it left like the rain was starting to come down as she looked up at the sky, now just plain scared of what was going on.

Jumping out of Crystal’s head and back into reality, once the collar was secured, there would be no movement at all from her body. Someone might be able to tell that there was some sort of brain function if they checked, but her eyes, instead of having a white iris to separate the light blue of the sclera and pupil, it all just went solid blue. Lights were still on, but no one was in the driver’s seat.

—--------

Aile braced for impact as the beam was sent for her, the distraction ruse not working at all… For her, at least. When she hit the ground, she looked to Poggle, the alpha Nincada flopped on the ground unmoving. It was still a bug type, after all, and not even fully evolved. When she looked back to the jackhole that fired at her, she’d immediately crawl over to Poggle and cover him, intending to try and protect him from whatever blast was coming up next… when nothing happened. The woman would look up to see Blake. Hall looking confused at a piece of pumice instead of the Red Gem they were here for. Quickly recalling the insect, she looked around to find Kayvaan, finding the ninja frog standing up and holding his ribs. “s**t, you okay, Kayvaan? Return for now, I’ll look into getting you healed when we leave.” Seeing that Lykas was now the owner of the Red Gem, she was ready to hightail it out of there when-

”Attention criminals! You are being taken into custody by S.W.I.P.E.! Do not attempt to resist arrest, do not attempt to obstruct our duties, and do not attempt to flee! Team Snagem and Team Dim Sun, I repeat, please put your hands on your head, drop your weapons, and cooperate!”

What. The. Hell. Her head turned to where the voice came from, eyes widening in shock. Maybe mild horror. Old memories came back as she stared at the Expansion Suit, immediately wondering what the hell these people were doing with old Flare tech. She had even worn one of those herself at one point, in what felt like another life. Enough happened between then and now that she probably did consider it that. But it wasn’t that far away that she had forgotten any of that, and she doubted that she would, as much as she wished she could. Arceus, how she wished she could tear that part of her life out.

Shaking her head to drag herself out of her memories, she was trying to figure out a plan. There was nothing she could do for her collared comrades, but maybe if she could escape herself… A hand went to a Pokéball, her false hand flexing as she contemplated her options. She didn’t have Eisley for digging options, but she did have Kuat, as well as his Mega Stone…

“Alysandra Wyndra, stand down!” Aile’s head would turn, noting the use of her government name. That immediately threw her for a slight loop, not having heard that name in so long. She didn’t think she had ever used it during her time in Snagem, really, so it was doubtful anyone knew it there, outside of Sub at least. That alone wasn’t enough to give her a full reconsideration of her plans yet, though. As the woman backed up, staring at the multiple Expansion Suited people now surrounding her, she would look around, a hair away from pulling the Steelix’s Pokéball off of her belt when she spied two unfamiliar people near Sub, though one she could make a guess of. She’d heard rumors of an International Police officer who was only brought in on some major things, back when she worked around in the Kalos underworld. This matched the little bit of the description she heard of him, and did he mention the location of HQ? Merde… Shaking, Aile would rip her hand away from the Pokéball, kneeling down as she did her best to rationalize why they also had the Expansion Suit tech. ‘This group also had to be sanctioned by Interpol’, she thought as she put her hands on her head, ‘and they probably got the suit by raiding Lysandre Labs. That had to be it. It makes sense… What’s going on, though? What did we do?’

Aile grunted as she was shoved onto the ground by multiple hands, the agents not taking any chances with her as her hands were brought behind her back and handcuffed together. Aile wasn’t going to do any shenanigans with her arm unless necessary, but Arceus, was it tempting with how rough they were treating her. Looking around as best as she could while on the uncomfortably warm ground, she saw a lot of the others getting arrested as well. Hopefully, she wasn’t separated from the rest of the team. That would be a… decent sign, at least. Something to alleviate her deeper worries. Potentially a paranoia.

Just as Freth had been rocked from the rock barricade's sudden explosion from the outside, Kiri would get thrown back as well and end up on the ground. It'd take a few seconds for the Tyranitar to get back to her feet, a black disc spinning and whizzing above on its way to Freth and ensuring she stayed down for fear of the unknown device. A pang of guilt was felt as a faint click was heard and its recipient subdued in an instant, quickly replaced with fear as foot soldiers poured in and the first of them- already here and having stopped Darts only seconds before Freth- declaring the team's arrest alongside Dim Sun. Confused, she looked over to where Cera was and gave a confused growl in the hopes of some kind of answer.

Cera, for the record, was still trying to fight Dim Sun's grunts and convince a Houndoom to keep helping her for a little longer. But that stopped when Darts' mental signature, then Freth's, then Blizz's, then Lykas', then Clare's, then Crystal's, all were severed one by one. If it wasn't for very faintly still sensing their energy and very obviously seeing they were alive (for now) in her panicked looking around, fully stopped in her tracks and settling on staring at the crater Blizz was in now, she would've assumed they'd all just died. Her mind's ability to Synchronize with most of the others' was still going haywire all the same, caring not about that detail and forcing the Mew to try and ground herself mentally. Unfortunately for her, overwhelming amounts of things happening at once was on the menu between arrest announcements, her own Pokemon wanting answers, the hum of Teleportation Scramblers, and loads more S.W.I.P.E people pouring in where the initial one and Kess came from, including one rapidly approaching her with another of the same collars.

"Cera." Amaranth spoke up, her tone snapping as she watched the chaos and found herself nearly back to back with the Mew in the process, her Fletchinder and Flareon looking over expectantly too. "You said the Rangers would probably be coming after us once they caught wind, right?"

"I-I mean, yeah, but the plans didn't account for whatever this is! Spenser's too prideful to send someone else in even if he had to go in alone, especially not Interpol! And even then, the Rangers were kinda on board apart from the whole 'striking them now' part..." As she spoke, the Houndoom from before would be snarling at the new people approaching, not terribly keen on the invasion to what personal space remained. Cera was a minor exception for now, unless the meat-related offer was as off the table as the pants were from the last Dim Sun grunt they got close to.

Through this, Kiri had her arms up anyway, quick to comply for fear of making the situation worse and doubting Cera would be very keen on the idea either. She'd be right, as the Mew had her own up in what felt like a futile hope to not have the collar placed on her. With so many already practically dead to rights as it was, there wasn't much hope of getting out of this one compared to anything Dim Sun could seemingly do even if they bumbled the best bumbling they ever bumbled. Even if there was, she overheard Looker's mention of Mount Silver and saw someone that only served to instill more dread in her.

They weren't safe anymore. Or anywhere. What they did or didn't do to cause this was irrelevant.

"I... I'll comply. Just don't put that thing on me or do anything to the others, please. I won't be able to communicate with any of you if I-"

Click.

"NO- MEW!"

Her compliance had already sealed her fate, and such notions as talking or recalling Pokemon were something she clearly wouldn't be given the privilege for. Everything that followed was practically pain and felt an awful lot like the cages she once called "home" thanks to Ein, screaming as everything from her abilities to her mental link with anyone else that wasn't yet collared severed all at once. Her transformation would go in the same instant, forcefully revealing the 'hybrid' for the Mew she really was as she fell to the ground on top of the heap of Ranger uniform. The collar on her would reform and shrink in size to accomodate her proper form, S.W.I.P.E. very much prepared for someone like her.

"Mew mewmew mew mew mew mew mew mewmewmew!" There wouldn't be any mental broadcasts from her, with only the hybrids of the team (and Kess) able to understand her pleas to have the collar removed.

"Cera!" Amaranth looked back as she watched the Mew fall and futile grip at the collar, her movements growing slower by the moment as her mind rapidly became clouded from the Ebonite both making up the collar and what was primed to kill her on the spot if released besides.

The closest she had to calm was in recalling her Pokemon and dropping her hammer, arms raised to show she was disarmed. "What the hell did we do!?" She yelled despite her compliance, her eyes not leaving Cera for fear the collar might actually do her in before S.W.I.P.E. could. "We can chat just fine here!"

For Sol, there may have been some small part of him that had an inkling that something was very much wrong, but he was too blinded by ultimately unrequited love and the telanovella in progress. His Thunderbolt was also best described as being in no hay prisa either, built up too far along to be stopped now even as the danger of a metal arm from Reno was imminent and likely to direct the attack onto both of them. He'd move to meet the hand crackling with plasma with Reno's haymaker, deciding if he couldn't stop the attack or it coming back, then might as well complete the loop.

In his mind, Reno's attempt to cover up the Lavana-adorned mural would see modest success as they cleared up. The image's would twist and melt as Lavana's image would ultimately dissolve, their proper ones shifting back in despite the flames seemingly intensifying as confusion was brought in. The first couple of murals would bring about a pair of shiny Celebi hybrids, pink hair and all, though one would be easily recognized as Aden once the obvious differences were more apparent. The other had a more feminine appearance with a green headband keeping some of her hair in place alongside a pink flower on the side. The expression in the mural was soft and calm, and though the side-by-side would reveal how much Aden really had her eyes, there was a sense of quiet resignation beneath the warm looks and smile.

The next one had flashes of pink and black, but before mental Reno could finish fixing it, he'd find mental Sol had gotten behind him at some point and there was in fact a mental Arcoiris attached to the arm that was reached towards him. "And who do you think you are, running around uninvited and desecrating Lavana- N- ...Lavana's murals? Is no town sacred to you?" As soon as he asked this, the whole world seemed to shake for a brief moment, but not long enough for either of them to lose their footing. "...answer me, invasor!"

The real, physical Sol would be knocked out of the electrical loop thanks to the firebaseball sent at him thanks to Arcoiris being used as less a sword and more a bat, and had he been in his right mind, he'd be pretty impressed at the sudden channeling. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case and he'd go back a bit, kneeled between the impact and being zapped by his own attack. "Alfornada y Lavana no necesitan salvadores como tú," he spat back, trying to get the wind back in him as he pulled out a Water Gem and started forming a Weather Ball in the same hand. The gem's light would rapidly dim as the energy from it was siphoned into the attack, quickly slamming it down against the super-heated ground to evaporate into a cloud of steam that both served to obscure Tsuki and Reno's vision and provide an even hotter area they might not want to linger in.

Not that they'd get much choice as Tsuki would feel a sudden tug on Arcoiris, with Sol trying to pull the blade back to him with Psychic. Hopefully S.W.I.P.E. had popcorn handy for the show.

There had been many things she had expected from Blake Hall. An arrogant speech, some blustering about how Dim Sun was somehow the best despite the absolute bodying it was receiving, a grease stain where he used to be standing as he disappeared. The rock in his hand suddenly vomiting out a fiery laser beam was not one of the things Aria had been expecting. As much as she tried to get her Noivern to steer out of the path of attack, they would only manage to just get the main body out of the way before Noivern's one wing was blazed by the attack. Feeling her Pokemon already beginning to list to his wounded side as their flight became more of a dive, Aria would attempt to brace up the wounded and faltering wing to try and at least keep the crash half-level instead of a spiral into whatever ground coincidentally ended up underneath them.

The effort wasn't a complete bust, managing to keep her and Vibrato in a controlled fall that let them at least manage to steer for the solid ground instead of potentially ending up in the lava. However, all they had accomplished was steering, with an utter neglect to the whole slowing down portion of the equation. So the landing would immediately send Aria flying off of her Noivern's back and rolling across the ground until she slammed into a rocky outcropping. Taking a moment to hopefully let focus go towards whatever other Snagems leapt into action afterwards to gather Dim Sun's attention, Aria would slowly open her eyes to find... a whole new horde of thugs staring her down. And based off the shouting, apparently they were the cops?

Putting her hands up, Aria said, "I'm sure my lawyer is going to have a field day with this bout of illegal detention, so I hope you enjoy funding my music and streaming career."

Beau felt a set of claws settle on his shoulders as his Fletchinder prepared to help keep him aloft above his site of explosive mayhem. Which had some fast competition, with one of the walls that had been blockaded now erupting into an explosive mess as a bunch of jackbooted thugs that felt oh so familiar to Beau stormed their way into the area. And immediately, they were on the most notable Snagem hybrids with the majority of their numbers and effective personel. But with how effective those collar launchers appeared to be, it wasn't going to take long before the floating Vivillon got stung by these Beedrill. And while he fancied his chances as a lone operative in the old Kalos Resistance days, there were too many people already detained to risk something like that.

But he did have at least one idea to try and stave off some of the potential issues. Quickly releasing a puff of Powder around himself with his left hand, he would take advantage of the small window of lowered visibility to bring his right hand up and begin to quickly weave a small amount of silk from his String Shot around his neck. Once his quickly fashioned gap-creator for his inevitable collaring was in position, he would direct Red Baron to take an immediate dive from his Powder cloud. Hoping the sudden motion would disguise his little attempt at extra defense, it wouldn't take long before he could see one of the collars launched at high speed to intercept his neck.

Pretending like this was somehow a surprise, Beau would be hit with the device and it would quickly cinch itself onto his neck. How effective his improvised String Shot muffler was at preventing this device from doing its job once it resized around the strange material instead of Beau's actual neck, hard to say.

She had barely had time to celebrate the successful deployment of the Mawile Maul's Blooming Flower Flash Cannon. It had been so beautiful, the entire opening of the mouth to direct the blast, each piece of the containment chamber cycling up as it did its best to contain all of the energy Leslie had poured into the weapon. Sure, the lights for indicating energy levels and adding intimidation to the whole process weren't installed but she hadn't exactly anticipated a field test today of all days. And she had apparently brought the house down based off the extra boom and noise that she was hearing in the background. And her friend/projectile the Kanghaskid was immediately running to return to his mom's pouch beside her, so that settled that small issue of locating him.

Wait, why was the Kanghaskhan looking in a whole different direction and growling?

Turning in the pouch to look over as well, Leslie could see that apparently the SWAT team had just breach and cleared the cavern behind them. And was already systematically taking down every hybrid they could identify with a flurry of weird little collars. And while she could have hidden herself away inside the Kanghaskhan's pouch that she had spent the last half hour basically dictating a small assault from, the sedan-on-a-stick that she was still holding was a little too obvious for that to be a last minute plan. Watching as a trio of the squad spaced themselves out around her and kept themselves distinctly outside of hammer swing radius, one small thought would cross Leslie's mind. What would happen to the Kanghaskhan? If she tried to get it, it might still be liable to try and stuff her back into the pouch and she did not want to see what they brought out when even the appearance of resisting happened to appear. Letting go of her hammer, Leslie would pull out a Great Ball. "Just let me return my Pokemon. Theresa got zapped by Dim Sun's thing and she's been acting a little strange." She explained, looking towards the Kanghaskhan before whispering, "Please just go with it. No need for you to get hurt too." Knocking the device against the Normal type, Leslie would watch as it disappeared around her and deposited her onto the ground beneath her. Scrambling over to her hammer, she would manage to just wrap a hand around the handle when the first of the three fired collars slammed home onto her neck.

Still on top of the shaking Great Ball, Leslie could only hope that the Kanghaskhan saw things the same way and would let the capture happen for right now. If she wanted out after this, Leslie would release her but this was something to help everyone.

Well, this was going to hurt. I mean, Reno had been expecting it to hurt. But he hadn't fully been expecting Sol to try and catch the metal fist. But it did mean they were both restrained in the feedback loop of electrocution and locked muscles that kept them in contact long beyond what a simple punch would've normally caused.

Inside Sol's mind, Reno was taking quick note of the actual contents of the murals as he expected this sort of quick-and-dirty attack to bring out Sol's mental representation quickly. The contents of those murals might be valuable for his personal survival within this headspace. And was rewarded with....what he knew to be Aden and what he presumed to be his mother based off of similarity. That had been what some of this mental programming had latched onto? No wonder Sol was holding to this construct like the last drink of water in the desert.

And at around halfway through his fixing efforts on the second mural, a familiar sensation would settle in before he turned to look. It would appear that he had finally gotten Sol's attention in here. Taking the shaking in stride, Reno would smile. "Uninvited, certainly. But desecrating?" Shaking his head and the hand holding his fixing spray paint, Reno would give a gesture towards his finished repair and his current project. "I've removed this eyesore of a woman from the memory of your wife and child. Or were Aden and her so unimportant to you?" Playing a hunch based off the two dominant colors he could identify in this current mural, he continued with a few more shakes of the can for emphasis, "How about Cera and Sub? Do they compare so lowly to this Lavana woman you just met today?" Flashing a full tooth grin, he would pounce. "How about we reveal them and see how you answer then!!" Ramming his hand forward, he would collide the spray paint with the tip of Arcoiris and aim to detonate the over-primed can to do the rest of the repair right now so that Sol would have to face it head-on.

Back in reality, the two would finally separate as Tsuki's fireball slammed into Sol's stomach. Landing on the ground with huff, he would be forced to scramble back as the Weather Ball slammed into the ground and immediately erupted into a cloud of heated steam that threatened to broil Reno. Taking a few steps back to get beside Tsuki, he would begin to look around to try and assess how things were going elsewhere. And thats when Reno finally was able to focus and see how exactly the tide had shifted while his full focus had been on a two-pronged assault on his friend. This new group was here, with Expansion Suits from Kalos, suppression collar tech that he could almost guarantee was from Cipher, and....was that Kess, Looker, and the weirdo from the WCC? At this point, the small migraine he had been writing off as simply just strain from his tactical efforts came back to his attention. Because it was a familiar migraine, one caused by teleport suppression.

Okay, he was going to be sitting out the whole fighting Sol physically portion for a moment because this whole shock to the system was going to take a minute to process through this bout of memory overload. Especially since he could their battle now had an audience that were trained to fire on Sol presumably....if he either got too rowdy or too cooperative with Reno and Tsuki for their liking.

Tsuki the Lunar Wind

So much was happening at once, too much was happening all at once for Tsuki to fully keep up with. One moment they were fighting a team that could mind control Pokemon and hybrids alike, the next the Dim Sun leader was firing off death beams made of concentrated energy, then suddenly the base was being re-raided. S.W.I.P.E. wasn’t a group that he was familiar with either- all he knew was that a second group was coming in and they were oh so incredibly screwed. He raised Arcoiris up in case one of those collar things came at him directly (not realizing at the moment that they were targeting hybrids) only to find Sol’s Weather Ball steam attack catching him off guard before the Psychic lurched and yoinked the blade back to its owner's hands.

Ah, well back to square one he supposed. Tsuki nodded to both Grumps and Maggie so that his Pokemon would get close to him as he figured out just what to do here. Reno’s metal arm did redirect the Thunderbolt and he seemed to be… occupied? The guy looked like he was seriously zoned out. Maybe he was trying to use his telepathy powers on Sol? “I can buy you some more time but this situation is getting real crappy Reno.” He said from the steam cloud they were in. This wasn’t exactly like the Smokescreen he was constantly dealing with from his Magby but it being watery did him no favors.

Tsuki gave Sol a shrug from where he could hear the voice, pointing at him for his Hypno. He could speak a little Paldean too, thank you very much. “Tal vez. Pero lo que sí necesitas es un Ataque Físico. Pantalla de… use Lightscreen!” He called out for Grumps. The psychic type readied a telekinetic platform in each hand, swinging them one after the other around the hybrid in hopes of either locking him down or keeping whatever attack he sent out from doing as much damage as it could in that moment. Solar Beam, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Weather Ball… he had never seen the guy use a physical move before.

That was, at least, a possible thread to be exploited. Whether or not it could also block the collars remained to be seen however. When he looked around and saw Sub stunned… ugh, he knew this was actually bad. Not the normal kind of bad where things were vaguely always on fire with the Snagems and the chaos they thrived in but the kind that Tsuki had never personally seen. And if that wasn’t enough, they seemed to be keeping the situation he was in ongoing for… some kind of show? They were watching this go down. “If you’re gonna make us do your dirty work, how about if we can break him free you won’t collar him?” He called out, wondering what exactly the S.W.I.P.E. members wanted. “Or are you a bunch of freaks who’re only waiting for this to play out before actually doing something?”

Reno Vantas

Pretending like this was somehow a surprise, Beau would be hit with the device and it would quickly cinch itself onto his neck. How effective his improvised String Shot muffler was at preventing this device from doing its job once it resized around the strange material instead of Beau's actual neck, hard to say.

The collar would attempt to clasp around Beau's neck only for it to find it difficult to stick to the smooth silken neck wrap, the collar spinning around Beau's neck a few times before it harmlessly flew off. He had actually avoided capture, his ingenuity in the moment paying off. However it would not go unnoticed.

"Hm, looks like that one didn't clasp, Agent WHITE." Looker said as he looked towards and pointed at Beauregard. Sub heard this and quickly turned to see who he was pointing at, registering it was Beau, and then looked back at Looker, unsure of who this 'Agent WHITE' was but he had a funny feeling he knew and it was bad news. "Apprehend them, Agent WHITE." Looker followed up.

In response the towering helmeted man would step up from behind Looker and withdraw a Master Ball, tapping the button on the front and releasing from inside a strange four legged Pokemon sporting a helmet similar to its own. The man would make no verbal command and not even look at his 'Pokemon' a single time, never taking his eyes off Beau. However the green markings on his helmet would flash a few times, now brown, the ones on his Pokemon flashing in response, and the next thing anyone knew the chimera Pokemon he released would go charging at Beau. The four legged monster would easily ram into and take Beau down with a simple Tackle, smacking his bird away with a backhanded Crush Claw as they all hit the ground.

In that same moment of impact with the ground a certain someone had moved as well, so quick that he was already standing behind Beau when he hit the ground. Agent WHITE would say nothing as he reached down and picked Beau up by the top of his head with almost supernatural strength, like a person picking up a doll. While being touched Beau would be overwhelmed with a sensation of heaviness, stiffness and being overburdened, like he suddenly weighed five hundred pounds though clearly he didn't. Beau could do little as Agent WHITE used his free hand to gently clasp another collar around his neck, ensuring it was secure, and then tossed him aside like he was nothing. This feeling of heaviness would stay with Beau for awhile longer.

With Beau taken care of Agent WHITE would slowly to focus on the yapping Tsuki, looking the boy up and down a bit before turning the front of his eyeless helmet towards the still afflicted Sol. "Go ahead, Agent WHITE." Looker called out to the man, guessing what Agent WHITE was thinking in that moment. With permission Agent WHITE would make his move, his chimera Pokemon rushing towards Sol and taking a flying leap as it snatched Sol's blade out of the sky with a Shadow Claw, neutralizing his psychic hold on the blade as the Pokemon now stood on top of the grounded sword. In that moment Agent WHITE moved swiftly yet again, seemingly spontaneously appearing behind Sol where he would slammed a collar into the back of his neck, the Ebonite collar clicking in place. In that moment of being collared the hypnosis would be completely lifted from Sol, leaving him with full coherence of the moment he found himself in as he felt the cool pulsating sensation from the collar on the back of his neck.

"Anyone else wish to be acquainted with Agent WHITE and his Type: Null? Anyone?" Looker asked the group, glancing around the area. Sub just glared. Looker would perk up as Monique spoke and glanced from Agent WHITE to Monique. "Do you? Agent WHITE, educate her." He said as he pointed out Monique.

It happened so quick, Monique was knocked down to the ground and had Type: Null on top of her, the chimera Pokemon then leaping off of Monique and slashing at Malamar with both front feet as it executed a powerful X-Scissor to take the Pokemon down while his inhumanly strong trainer bore down on Monique and forced a collar on her neck, dispelling her illusion, the man's speed of movement incredible.

Most of the Snagems acquiesced with the orders to get in line:

SubonicXP
"How about we go someplace more...cozy? Like let's say...Mount Silver?" Looker asked as an even taller man entered behind him. Towering at seven feet with ivory white skin and a bronze helmet with no discernible eye holes covering his entire head was a man that some who participate in the WCC would be horrified to see, the menacing wielder of the monstrous chimera Pokemon and Normal Channeler. Sub in that moment was immediately given even further whiplash as Looker named their home base and the monster from the WCC came in behind him. What was going on!?
TerashiLeonGoken
Fortunately by the time those who sought to incarcerate us got to me, Keiko had been patched up to the best of my abilities. "She's unconscious, and can't walk on her own," I explained to them as my own wrists were shackled. I made no effort to resist arrest, and thankfully, Abby didn't seem to be, either.
Blizzard120
“Augh! The hell?” Freth shouted as she frantically tried to get the collar off of her. Before she knew it, she was quickly overwhelmed by the different numbers and dragged to the ground to be detained.

The more that I tried to counter attack, the more steps ahead of me she was; she came in with a plan, that much I could recognize. Before I knew it, I found myself back on the ground then taking a Thunder attack before I could find my way up again. To me and probably Kess, that whole exchange had to have lasted for a couple of minutes. To the untrained eyes surrounding us; probably a mere few seconds at best. An exchange, done in an instant. In spite of taking that powerful Thunder attack I was refusing to stay down, but as I tried to push myself up, Kess drove me back down and, just as with Freth, got slapped with a collar on as well.
DragonFang099
The two exchanged a look, then gave a single nod, not bothering to cuff Rachel since she was clearly not resisting. Lu hefted Brian onto her back and waited, ready to follow wherever they were led.

Amber looked at her captors and gave a sigh. "I won't resist," she said. "Lead me where you will."
Requiem of Whyspers
When they still weren’t past-tense, they looked at the Jellicent hybrid and scolded him. “They might have believed you if you weren’t trying to escape from them, you know.”

“Shut up.” Lykas snapped back, more than a little irritated right now.
Reno Vantas
Putting her hands up, Aria said, "I'm sure my lawyer is going to have a field day with this bout of illegal detention, so I hope you enjoy funding my music and streaming career."

--

She explained, looking towards the Kanghaskhan before whispering, "Please just go with it.

----

Okay, he was going to be sitting out the whole fighting Sol physically portion for a moment because this whole shock to the system was going to take a minute to process through this bout of memory overload. Especially since he could their battle now had an audience that were trained to fire on Sol presumably....if he either got too rowdy or too cooperative with Reno and Tsuki for their liking.
Tsuki the Lunar Wind
That was, at least, a possible thread to be exploited. Whether or not it could also block the collars remained to be seen however. When he looked around and saw Sub stunned… ugh, he knew this was actually bad. Not the normal kind of bad where things were vaguely always on fire with the Snagems and the chaos they thrived in but the kind that Tsuki had never personally seen. Ulla_Hanabi
She then noticed Ter and the unconscious Keiko. She clenched her fist as she knew she shouldn't make any sudden movements to set them off.

"Mama...Papa..."
Espeon_Commander
Jumping out of Crystal’s head and back into reality, once the collar was secured, there would be no movement at all from her body. Someone might be able to tell that there was some sort of brain function if they checked, but her eyes, instead of having a white iris to separate the light blue of the sclera and pupil, it all just went solid blue. Lights were still on, but no one was in the driver’s seat.

—--------

Darksol88
They weren't safe anymore. Or anywhere. What they did or didn't do to cause this was irrelevant.

"I... I'll comply. Just don't put that thing on me or do anything to the others, please. I won't be able to communicate with any of you if I-"

Click.

"NO- MEW!"

--

"Cera!" Amaranth looked back as she watched the Mew fall and futile grip at the collar, her movements growing slower by the moment as her mind rapidly became clouded from the Ebonite both making up the collar and what was primed to kill her on the spot if released besides.

The closest she had to calm was in recalling her Pokemon and dropping her hammer, arms raised to show she was disarmed. "What the hell did we do!?" She yelled despite her compliance, her eyes not leaving Cera for fear the collar might actually do her in before S.W.I.P.E. could. "We can chat just fine here!"

They were shepherded together and kept together even as other officers arrested and separated Dim Sun grunts out from the battle that had begun to erupt moments before the raid. The pleas and asks for communication here were disregarded, if not outright ignored. Some of the ones that gave themselves up willingly were spared a rough handcuffing, depending on how their arresting officer was feeling, but each hybrid was collared and each member got handcuffs, regardless of whether they were snapped into place nicely or shot onto them was just a matter of circumstance. Those injured or rendered unconscious were moved, even if they weighed 400 lbs and only possible with a whole cadre of soldiers, they put their backs into it and got it done as another sound came into play alongside the teleportation scramblers outside of the cave. There was a massive whirring of chopper blades, several dozen of them. Clearly their new ride out of here to Headquarters was going to be quite an event.

There were, however, some Snagems busy or... less than willing to work with the authorities as they came forth to assert theirs.

DeoLux
The battle has begun, Deo vs Machamp. The battle of strength ended with a duck and under as the Machamp hit the rock wall and let loose of Deo. He would get up and stance at the ready of which the Machamp got up and the two fought like a boxing match. As Deo would be more bouncing like a boxer in the ring. The Machamp would try to wrestle, and the two would be ready for a match, hybrid vs pokemon. This was near the level of abuse, if he did not attack first. The Machamp just made his wicked smile. "You need to learn respect, punk" Deo would say, spitting out some blood.

“Psy, Psy!” (GO BOSS GO!) the Psyduck would declare with glee, despite having a big headache and a knot on the top of his head.

The Machamp was clearly enjoying this fight, grinning back as Deo and him continued fighting. His own face was worn down with the vigor of the battle they were engaged in, welts rising up from Deo's blows and Psyduck's own on his grey skin as they clashed.

All of a sudden though, their machismo conflict was put to an anticlimactic end. Officers looped a modified capture stylus up and over the Machamp's neck, dragging the Fighting-type away from the fray.

"Ma! Machamp!" It protested, trying to struggle futilely with tears in its eyes at the loss of glorious combat. All four of its arms reached out to Deo pleading for his help before it was ripped away, sent to sit in the pile of other confiscated non-captured Pokemon they were relieving Team Dim Sun.

Deo wouldn't have much of a chance for himself though either as a collar whirls through the air, clamping around his neck and sending him to sweet unconsciousness as the shock of being cut off from his hybrid energies for the first time puts him out like a burnt out lightbulb.

The other resistance, however, would soon wish they had complied as well:

Blizzard120
“WA-TA!” Blaziken roared, who was still out of his Pokeball during the whole skirmish during Dim Sun. Seeing the events transpire instantly, Blaziken didn’t have much to go on other than knowing that his trainer was in trouble. Blaziken, still invigorated by the volcanic heat, rushed in, fully ablaze, foot first with a mighty Blaze Kick towards Kess.

Kess grimaces at the attack, her blade in motion as soon as she's assaulted, though she clearly finds the whole situation with the Pokemon distasteful. She expertly dodges it with another burst of Agility, arcing slashes of Saetta smashing into the Fire-type over and over and over again, battering its body with lightning strike after lightning strike until the thing kneels, smoking, near its trainer. The Zapdos hybrid shoots Blizz another look of disgust? Maybe pity even? As she dispenses justice with a clenched fist, leaving off with an arcing jet of energy from her fingers, Thunder Wave freezing Blaziken in place with a well-timed burst of Paralysis. "You know, those collars don't shut off your Pokeballs." She states, matter-of-factly, jutting her needle-like beak down at the prone Articuno hybrid.

The others... got acquainted to another member of the Strike Force, one they may have bumped into in the past:

SubonicXP
"Hm, looks like that one didn't clasp, Agent WHITE." Looker said as he looked towards and pointed at Beauregard. Sub heard this and quickly turned to see who he was pointing at, registering it was Beau, and then looked back at Looker, unsure of who this 'Agent WHITE' was but he had a funny feeling he knew and it was bad news. "Apprehend them, Agent WHITE." Looker followed up.

The last one standing was Ogerpon, face to face with the woman who had collared Darts and been given the ultimatum. To no one's surprise, she winds up to generate a fiery Ivy Cudgel, when she's interrupted by Darts laying a golden hand on her shoulder. "No." He says simply, shaking his head. "Not today." The usual quips and grandiose personality of the hybrid were gone, erased by the gravity of the situation facing them.

The Pokemon pauses for a moment, thinking whether or not to defy his order, before the red Hearthflame mask switches out, replaced by the Wellspring mask as it buries its face in shame and defeat into Darts' chest, trying to muffle its little sobs of hurt pride as it turns away from battle for the first time in its life. He shushes her, pulling the Master Ball from inside of his inner jacket pocket and returns Ogerpon unwillingly into the capsule, not wanting it to be harmed any further. Or to see what was going to happen to him. For one Pokemon, it had already experienced enough loss in its life. He straightens up, stashing the ball in his coat, and locks eyes face to face with the expansion suit woman. "Let's go then, I don't have all day."

Team Snagem was rounded up and gathered, by hook or by crook, into a separate group from Team Dim Sun. Once heroes, they were now treated like common criminals with little regard for how they had once been protectors and saviors of the world many times over. Blake. Hall. and the rest of his gang, including the real (puffy-faced) Lavana would watch mutely as the entire team was marched past them, collars, handcuffs, and an entire retinue of guards accompanying the Team as they clinked their way past as a group, shoved forward ignominiously like condemned headed for the gallows. The whole team was muzzled now, restrained for who knew how long, and drug towards their inescapable...

Outside, the source of the whirring was immediately evident as there were massive armored transport carrier style helicopters, two blades on each of them. Judging by their color and what the Snagems could sense through their own external senses, hybrid or otherwise, all of these wicked-looking vehicles were made of pure Ebonite and outfitted with miniature teleportation scramblers of their own. Whatever this operation was, they had spared no expense to make sure the Team wasn't going to just jet out of here on a moment's notice. The loading ramp of the nearest three were down, and the Snagems were grouped onto one of the three helicopters. A strategic observer would note that they were separated with stronger members and weaker members evenly divided, to prevent collusion of some of the more dangerous targets in the group, but at this point that seemed like overkill. The guards sat them, either gently or forcibly depending on how they wanted to react, on the benches in the backs of the military carriers. Looker and Agent WHITE took one copter, getting in the front of it, while Kess took another and the woman in the Expansion Suit that the team had heard referred to here and there in the proceedings as 'Essentia' clambered into the cockpit of the third. The engines hum up further, the drone of the blades making any sort of communication or speech impossible as the entire retinue takes to the air, flying off to the very place Looker had promised them. Home sweet home, Mount Silver.

Blaziken, being one of the more rookie members of my party, tried as he might to hold his ground to repulse Kess. I was left in a daze during the whole exchange between the fiery fighting type and the sword wielding Zapdos hybrid, barely aware of what was going on. When I started to come back to my senses, I saw Blaziken flop right next to me, grimacing, under the harsh grip of paralysis. “Blaziken…augh…the….hell?” I took another look around, making sure that I didn’t just hallucinate from the heat in this place and sure as hell, I didn’t. Kess had leveled my hide out of the blue and presumably, she took Blaziken out for that matter. I then took a look around as the unexpected strike force started to take into custody the Dim Sun members as well as the Snagems, which left questions abound as to what in the hell was going on? I started to reach around to take out a Pokeball to recall Blaziken back to his ball before he tried anything else. As far as I could tell, we were caught out dead to rights by…something. Someone.

I tried to charge an ice beam in the palm of my hand, wondering why I was feeling out of it. I’ve been hit by Kess’s electrical attacks before. It shouldn’t have done this kind of havoc, training aside. I then felt around my neck, feeling something off. This collar. I started to pull at it, but couldn’t really get any purchase on it. Between the Snagems surrendering and the numbers we were dealing with, never mind me noticing Freth starting to get dragged off, I made a sigh, effectively surrendering as well at this point. No information, no nothing. As I got carried off, finally getting out in fresh air, I started to see that it was probably preferable to stay in that volcano. Whoever this bunch was spared no expense to practically get the drop on everyone here. Like this was some sort of trap. I still couldn’t really make heads or tails of it. I’d get carried onto a transport, sat down, and placed under guard. Apparently, they really didn’t want to take any chances with me.

I couldn’t help but to sigh at myself, annoyed once again that I was taken down oh so easily just unexpectedly. Every reason I train nearly killing myself in the process only to be swatted down. Worse, so much for an easy assignment…Tristen was probably going to be a bit upset about missing that ceremony…

Cera would have one of the least ceremonious handlings of anyone as she was picked up roughly and shoved into an Ebonite cage to add another layer to ensure the Mew wouldn't- couldn't- try anything fancy. Though she weakly looked on, her mind barely could register anything now with yet more Ebonite smothering her, the haze mixed with past memories and traumas poking through. A brief thought came to mind that would've been ridiculous if that haze wasn't there, but she had no better luck escaping them as she did her physical confines.

"...don't let the experiments start again..."

In lieu of being able to be recalled by their proper (or new) 'trainer', both the Houndoom and Kiri would be confiscated with another modified Capture Styler, no matter any barks or growls or other forms of protest. Their fates would be up to S.W.I.P.E. now as the cage holding Cera would be carted off and tossed into the nearest seat available.

Seriously, a Pokemon commanding other Pokemon? That's daft.

Amaranth, increasingly getting the hint, would just shut up as she was cuffed and, for a seemingly rare mercy, led off to the others as they were corralled.

---

"What? Of course those two are important," Sol remarked. "Sub and Cera too, all of you! Lavana has love en abundancia! Even the others coming in, they just need to be shown! Or are you as blind to it as they are?" Despite the passion and conviction in his voice, something seemed... uncertain about it. The mental math wasn't quite mathing, and as he tried to make it make sense, he'd left himself open to Reno forcing the agitated can against Arcoiris' tip and rupturing it into an explosion of colors.

Thrown into a coughing fit, he lowered the blade as the spray paint finished what Reno started with the last mural, fully revealing an image of Sub with Cera floating just above his shoulder: The person and Pokemon responsible for much in his life, too much to recount in a timely manner.

Yet another would reveal itself as the cloud of colors swirled about in the air, working its way around to loosen Lavana's grip further. It'd be hard to make out in the distance, aside from being a group shot of the team at large and the familiar faces- including Reno's own- it'd invoke. A few more would return to their proper glory in turn as well, unrecognizable to Reno and personal towards his own journeys in life.

Of them was the briefiest glimpse of... some kind of chamber? Though varied in colors, they were muted in relative darkness. A man stood within, surrounded by flames with a grateful smile. Reno wouldn't get the chance to discern anything further before his mental vision suddenly blacked out with the sound of rushing water...

Back in reality, Sol's attempt to recover Arcoiris had been promptly stopped by Agent WHITE and the Pokemon he sent out, easily batted away and standing on top of it. He hadn't had a chance to continue the telenovella LARPing session Lavana had thrust him into before the collar had been slammed into his neck, clicking into place with his eyes widening as his senses came back to him. With those came a full realization that yes, you lovestruck birdbrain, something is in fact very wrong right now and the pulsating coolness within the collar on him.

"What was I...?" He looked at Reno and Tsuki for a second before looking to the chimera Pokemon before them, then at Agent WHITE from the corner of his eye. Then, his eyes would dart to the collar, each pulse from it feeling much like when he was afflicted with Water energy in the Asado Ruins. He didn't have to ask about the collar, one look at his friends and allies was enough to answer why one was on him too.

He lowered his head in shame before the two, and at S.W.I.P.E. besides. "Well? Take us away, then."
