General AquamarineAction: Taking a moment to fume. Will post again after Guine to get them to the door. Aquamarine stumbled in the hallway, off balance from their jarring exit. He fell back into another body, but knew immediately by the height, the firmness of the body, and the feel of the uniform that he had appeared together with <********>,” Aquamarine swore, whirling around to see if any of the others had appeared in the same hall, but he and Jet were alone. “That stupid—”
His hands were empty. As the lightning had danced from person to person, Aquamarine had instinctively forced both Jet’s tablet and the specks of energy at his fingertips into subspace—a harder task than usual, sure, but helped along by adrenaline. He didn’t bother to resummon either just yet, rather distracted by another burst of seething fury.
“Simple logic,” he snarled. “Simple logic suggests you don’t touch the ******** monster eye!”
Aquamarine turned to take out some of his frustrations on the wall, which he kicked hard enough to leave himself with a temporarily sore foot. Then he threw a fist through the air like he might punch something, but it never landed. He would have given anything in that moment to have his rapier and dagger returned to him. Unfortunately, neither materialized, nor was he all that confident about his abilities to find any of the Senshi to skewer.
He turned to Jet again, hands going first to Jet’s shoulders, then his arms, then up to his face, checking him for injuries. Aquamarine felt a bit winded himself, but he wasn’t sure if that was from the lightning, the stress, or the blistering hatred.
“We have to find a way out of here,” he said. The storm was building. The barrier at Jet’s back certainly wasn't holding up against it well. “No way in hell am I wasting my time looking for any of those ******** idiots. Let whatever the ******** that thing is eat them for all I care.”

General King JetAction: Processing Regardless of what everyone thought about their situation, Jet had a horrible, sinking feeling that the Earth was in very real danger.
His hand burned, blistered red from holding the orb of energy and feeding it into the dark circle in the floor. When Aquamarine turned his attention on him, Jet casually lowered his hand out of sight. He would deal with the injury later. Right now they needed to figure out a way to escape.
“The sooner Her Majesty knows what’s going on, the better,” he reluctantly agreed. He wasn’t the type to leave anyone behind, and he certainly wouldn’t just abandon them if given the opportunity. He couldn’t say for certain the same courtesy would be extended to himself or Aquamarine.
But before they turned to face the storm and whatever it was going to throw at them, Jet took hold of Aquamarine’s arm and pulled him close for a kiss.
They were still in the middle of this impromptu mission, but Jet didn’t know when the next opportunity would be, so he did it now.

General AquamarineAction: Dragging Jet to the door and putting his hand on the symbol. Aquamarine couldn’t even enjoy the kiss. He hadn’t been able to enjoy anything—not Jet being protective, or dismissive, or commanding, or manhandling Senshi around with ease. They probably didn’t have long to find a way out of there. Either the barrier would fall or another crack of lightning would deposit them somewhere else (or kill them; that was still an option). They might only have seconds, but Aquamarine couldn’t find it in himself to complain.
Much.
“What the ******** is wrong with you?” Aquamarine mumbled against Jet’s mouth. Suddenly he sounded the complete opposite of livid, despite the swearing. “I put all this effort into at least pretending I give a damn about propriety and here you are doing whatever the ******** you want.”
Aquamarine detached himself with some regret. Not that either of them had long to dwell on it. With the room beyond the barrier no longer accessible, their only option was to go further down the hall, to the door at the end. What might be behind it, Aquamarine couldn’t hope to guess. All he knew was they had to move. Now.
He wrenched open subspace long enough to return Jet’s tablet to him, shoving it against Jet’s chest before yanking him down the hall.
“Come on, there’s no time. Try to establish contact again or something. I’ll break the ******** door down if I have to.”
There had to be something behind it. Aquamarine hoped for safety. By now he’d learned to trust gut feelings and sixth (or seventh, or eighth) senses. The door called to him in a way that triggered both. He didn’t know if they’d find a way out behind it, but he didn’t exactly relish the thought of standing around hoping for the best. Panic rose each second they lingered there. Aquamarine swallowed it down, but dread was heavy and unpleasant—stubborn, too.
When they reached the door, Aquamarine slapped a hand against the flashing palm-shaped symbol.

Character: Super Sailor Solaris Active: Fast-walking to the door (will post again after Sei!)
Definitely not the answers she'd wanted, though she hadn't expected much from her attempts to guide the visions or... whatever they were. This wasn't some touch-driven database waiting for terms or words to search up for them. The hammer though was... interesting, a sensation she wasn't used to--certainly not with that power behind it. But any question of what could have fueled such power, or where they would have even found such tools, was tossed aside as she was tossed backwards. Somewhat, anyway. Enough, her feet catching and skidding on the ground as she stumbled, arm tinkling and aching with static like when she'd yanked her journal out earlier.
She was aware of moving backwards into the room, but as she caught herself, it was only in time for light to crackle and consume her, and everything was white and she could smell ozone and--
"The <********> was that?" She was gasping for her breath back, not in pain besides what the mural had done, but she shoved her field journal and pencil back under her bodice with a few more colorful Solarian phrases. Some even managed to slip out in English amidst her rage, "Winds s**t on all of this, why'd this place shake? Island dropping on the architect's head wouldn't make them any stupider for designing all of this--" Which was, as most cursing and swearing went, bluster and overexaggerating to the nth degree. She was actually very impressed with the place's construction--traps and weird darkness-walls included.
Minus that eye, whatever that'd been.
It was the fact it was just her and Encke, that Solaris allowed herself a moment to vent the panic and frustrations that'd been building since arriving in the central room. She did check on them, peering through the shadowy barrier as she did.... and cursed again. The winds were already causing havoc in there, from what she could make out, if only from sounds alone. "Not gonna last, we need to go," she growled, making sure the Eternal was on their feet before she began to head down the hallway that'd previously been cut off. "Maybe we can double-back after and try to find the others? Not sure how much of a maze these halls'll head us down..."
At least she could feel something now, besides overwhelming oppressive whatever was there. "Something's behind the door..." Solaris did not appreciate the panic and dread dancing around her head now and through the air, or the sense that she needed to open the door. She eyed the palm symbol glowing on the door's surface as it flashed like an alarm. Glancing at Encke, she huffed. "I'll open it, you cover me if something lunges?"

FaustiteSaw something like that in the mural, too. Then this star — like traveling through space, across time. Guessing it's the serpent hunting, or someone hunting the serpent. Likely the latter, if he thought about the star artifact that he found on the body.
It was difficult to make sense of it, however, and what context Heliodor had for what he experienced sounded muddled at best. Sounded like he basically experienced what Faustite had witnessed through that artifact, though more likely through the eyes of the beast. Faustite's experience, he thought, must have been through the eyes of the knight — if it was indeed a cosmos knight that bore that symbol. <******** we do generates electricity, and the murals spelled out how coated in storms this serpent was. That sky in the mural was Earth's sky, too — saw our constellations, our guiding star. So that thing was here once, then imprisoned, and for as indivisible it is from lightning, I expect that means it's in the vicinity. Gravity isn't any different here than on Earth, either, so I assume it — or someone who knows of it — drew us here. Likely it, given the portentous storm.
Don't know if this is where they made those spikes or what, though. Imagine we might find something of the Negaverse's involvement if we went back to the Transverse Workshop or found some texts from that time.
But I haven't felt —
Faustite paused when the thunderclaps echoed down the hall. An unmistakeable series of flashes followed, brilliant and terrible, and likely much the same as what the others witnessed when he and Heliodor were suddenly banished to one of these rooms. If nothing else, that was evidence enough of a sentient thing. A sentient thing with enough power to shift General-Kings around like mere pawns on a chessboard. Whatever that serpent was, it was awake, and it was no instinct-driven beast looking for a low-cost meal. Seemed as though it called the shots here, and the rest of those gathered — all notably powered — had to follow suit.
But that main room was becoming a mess of lightning, and it raised Faustite's hackles enough that he had to consciously fight down his own anxiety to keep using his head. All too easy was it to remember exactly how a white-hot bolt left its indelible impression on an inexperienced Captain, guided by metal. That memory never faded; the tempest brewing only served to exacerbate it.
It was as much as he could parse, however, for the door all but screamed for his attention. He turned toward it, and in the barest instant of a thought, he saw a basilisk's eye watching him.
I know what you want, he thought wholly by instinct. I would give you the world if you but help us.
But that eye was gone as soon as he consciously registered his appearance, and Faustite started visibly. Then more lightning crashed. Then the building shuddered as if shouldering an ineffable weight. Faustite grit his teeth, more cowed by the thought of being electrocuted than being buried in rubble. Heliodor already proved that the hallway was a no-go, and Faustite had no intention of rejoining what was fast becoming a hellstorm. No, he sprinted for the door.
Faustite broke his sprint by flatting both hands against the featureless door. He beat on it with trembling fists, all but clawed at its smooth surface for some chance to be let out of the wake of lightning. kolina i have no brain cells and i must tag

Character Name: Corrupt Eternal Senshi, Heliodor Action: Trying to piece things together and make his way out of the room with Faustite.
He nodded as he ‘listened’ to what his General-King had to say. Immediately he tried to start piecing things together. Were they perhaps seeing opposite sides of a coin? And did this mean that, whatever this serpent wanted, it was already here within their solar-system? “If that’s the case and it’s actually already in our solar system, then we may be looking at whatever it is getting loose and attacking sooner than we’re ready for it to. Damn. We’ll need to work quick to figure this out.” Especially when it was obviously waking up or freeing itself from whatever prison it was that had entrapped it.
“We can make a point to visit the Transverse workshop. Hopefully something will make sense there.” He said we, with all intentions of helping figure this out. If Earth was in trouble, which it very much seemed like it was, the want to find a solution was dire. It was their home.
The room darkened. Heliodor looked around as he felt a heavy energy weigh down on him. His breath caught in his throat as he looked around catching the flicker and brief fall of the shadow wall that had just recently pulled him around like nothing more than a rag doll. The room beyond was empty of anyone, but the flash of lightning perhaps marked the dense energy he was feeling.
He had just turned back to Faustite to say something when the dark fog in his mind exploded and over took him. His focus on the world around him dimmed to that inky black as the pangs of intense hunger gripped him in a way he’d never felt before. A hand flew to his stomach as he hunched over, still caught in the dark vision. A familiar pauldon lay amongst the rubble as he heard something smash. Then suddenly he saw a field of debris in space. Floating in the darkness of the abyss.
Who knew how long the vision lasted, but as it broke, he was facing the dark shadowed wall again. Pin pricks of light peaked through it, not completely unsimilar to the stars he had seen while caught in its grasp. The sound and hum of electricity was the indicator that it was lightning, not stars peppering that impenetrable wall.
He heard boots on the stone floor, as the familiar warmth of Faustite’s presence faded. Turning on heel, the corrupt followed suit as he pushed away that horrid, gnawing hunger. He didn’t need commands to know they had overstayed their welcome, and damn well knew that going back to the previous room was completely out of the question.
Vaguely he wondered if the others had escaped, but could not lend much thought to them as he skidded to a halt just behind Faustite to avoid bodily running into him. “********. There has to be some way to open it.” He cursed as he slipped beside Faustite to try and push at the door as well, hands reaching to follow the outline of the door. As he looked down he saw what looked like a handprint in the wall just as Faustite’s own fit into it.

Character: Transcendent Eternal Encke Personally: covering Solaris! What was that? "Bullshit," managed Encke, dry as could be. What else could be summarize it as? They had been pulled to space in the middle of the storm with some of the most powerful of the Negaverse alive to show them that, what, some giant a** serpent escaped? Great. Just great. He pinched the bridge of his nose. There was something to what was on the floor that felt familiar, but he wasn't sure why. Probably just the feelings that the whole thing gave. If there was a story of hope there, he had played parts in those before, even if not anymore. Even if not ever again. This was not a story of hope. "Not worried about finding the others. If we have to go, so do they. They'll figure it out like we have to." Or they wouldn't. The world would be better if the people of the Negaverse wasted away here. Let them. "I'll cover you. Just be careful."

"Captain" ChalcanthiteAction: Remembering how to breath and not being pleased As the room shook, he tensed to try and stay standing but that ended up causing more trouble for him as the bolt of lightning came. Gasping as he felt his breath stolen, everything shifted in the next moment and he found himself thudding against a thick door down the hallway he'd been looking down. It might have been okay, if not for the fact Benitoite had gone with him and smashed him against the door with a second impact. For a moment he just laid there dazed, trying to remember how to get air back into his lungs as he coughed and wheezed. "What the ********> he rasped to the blonde as he tried to make sense of the hallway and door. Cursing might not come often but he felt it was a good enough time as any with how hard that door had felt against his ribs and back.
At least no others were in the hall so he could take a moment to figure things out.

“Dorothy” (Eternal Murikabushi of Hunger)Action: Getting thrown around. Being snarky. Pressing his hand against the glowing palm symbol. Whatever the eye was attached to, it felt like it wanted to fight back. Strictly speaking, Murikabushi didn’t think he could blame it—but he also didn’t feel like letting it have the satisfaction. He had to hang on and push back against it……but the power was too much. As he got sent sprawling, he bit back on any discomfort or pained noises, refusing to let whatever monster lurked in here know that it had succeeded in anything.
At least Kerberos was with him, Murikabushi thought as he tried to right himself. They’d come here together and now, they were getting out together. Looking around at where they’d found themselves this time—one of the hallways, and wasn’t that just swell—Murikabushi didn’t find much of it very interesting. Under other circumstances, he might have. Anything in space was interesting by default, in his mind, especially when there was some kind of mystery to unravel. But at the moment, not much presented itself for inspection.
On top of that, the whole place shook like it was falling down around them. Good thing for Murikabushi that he more than knew his way around walking in heels. For someone like Volterra, who wasn’t as used to that, staying upright and on nis feet in a situation like this would have been outrageously difficult, if not outright impossible.
Then, as if they really needed anything more, there was a feeling like……something calling to Muri.
“Blossom, are you okay to move,” he said, looking down the hallway in what quickly revealed itself to be the wrong direction. No getting back the way they came, from the looks of it. Looking the other way, Murikabushi felt that sensation of something desperately reaching out to him again, and stronger this time. He saw a glowing symbol down the corridor as well, shaped like a hand. “We’ve gotta get out of here. And dibs on touching the glowing thing at the end of the hall, okay? You’ve already gotten two chances, that’s equality.”
Plus, if the glowing hand symbol led to something magical getting annoyed with Murikabushi, the way the monstrous eye had done? At least it would only be getting annoyed with a basic b***h eternal senshi, the kind who didn’t glow and wasn’t, like, special and cool, the way that other senshi like Kerberos and Encke were.
Trusting that Kerberos would follow him, Murikabushi moved forward, and when he reached it, pressed his bare palm against the glowing symbol.

General Benitoite Action: Was going to help Chalcanthite up...but the door - let's tempt fate some more.
What in the hell was happening? One moment everything seemed fine, giant snake monster possibly breaking free aside, and the next it seemed all hell was breaking lose. The room was shaking, perhaps from the imprisioned serpent? But, as someone else had brought up, was it imprisioned here? Which had brought back the idea that maybe this was a tomb, perhaps to the one behind the capture of the snake, and everything here was to honor that by showing what they'd done for everyone. It was an idea, and something he might have voiced, but before he could do anything the whole was was shaking and he was worried the place might just fall apart all around them.
Someone had clearly pissed someone, or something, off and as the blond landed on his a** hard his pale eyes were darting about trying to take in everything going on. Before he could climb to his feet, or at least attempt it, he was being grabbed by some invisible force and yanked and dropped onto the ground down one of the hallways. Gasping as he landed harsh against his fellow General, his hands gripping the others uniform as if they might be yanked apart, the blond lifted his head from the others side.
Breathing hard, his cheeks flush, he stared up at the other as he worked to pull enough air into his lungs to speak. "I don't know...but something decided to throw us about like discarded toys." And he was not pleased with it, that much was obvious. His hair was a mess, strands of ashen blond sticking up here and there, the ribbon half out of his hair. He finally pulled himself up, nearly tripping over the fabric of his cape.
Once on his feet he was able to look around, offering a hand up to the other. "Time to figure out what's going on." Because he was tired of guessing, of the stress from the speculations he was making, it was all stabs in the dark and they could all be wrong and the worry for nothing....or at least some of it might be for nothing. There was something, a serpent, which he was sure no matter what they needed to worry about.
"I hope at the end of this all there is a good retierment plan." For when he was unable to power up simply due to age, because that needed to be a thing, there was no way if he lived till he was ninety he would be powering up. As he looked around he felt something, when his eyes looked over the door, and his offered hand fell to his side, as he headed towards the door. "I wonder....something must be here."

Character: Super Sailor Solaris Active: Activating the door
She hadn't been lying earlier when she'd told them she wasn't allowing herself to die before her world was free of Chaos. Charging head-first into unknown rooms, especially after they'd been given all the warnings of world-ending serpents, fell into that might not survive that category if things went real bad.
Her magic was still cut off, and she knew her weaknesses in a physical fight.
There was a genuine relief though that she had someone she trusted along with her, and as her boots tapped rapidly against the hall they travelled down, Solaris could feel her moment of releasing the boiling rage and frustration ease into a far more collected, confident set of her shoulders. Get through this, process and breakdown later. She hummed to Encke's summary for the others--she hoped the other two White Moon senshi got out, at least.
The others, well.
She hoped their starseeds would be reborn into happier lives the next go around. One in particular...
Reaching the door, she glanced to Encke once to make sure they were good to go, offering a small smile. "I'll do what I can..." The genuine attempt was her crouching slightly to make herself less of an obvious target, ideally, before placing her hand against the glowing symbol on the door and bracing for pain or impact or who the ******** knows what.

Eternal Sailor Kerberos Action: Letting Muri touch the hand-shaped sigil! The circle was cold, and it, too, hungered. Kerberos braced himself, ready for whatever might come--and the heat that came off the energy orb that Jet pressed into the circle made him hiss, but he kept his hand where it was, because maybe--
It seemed to do something. The barriers came down. And he could see down the hallways, even if only for a brief moment, enoguh to see that one oft hem was thoroughly destroyed.
Oh, that felt...bad.
And then, he and Murikabushi were swept away, jolted into a different hall, and before them was a great door. A door that seemed ot beckon for one of them to touch it.
"Alright," Kerberos acknowledged, as he got to his feet, dusting himself off. "I've done plenty of risky s**t tonight, only fair that I at least let you have a turn."
They were here together, as allies. No matter how much Kerberos's urge was to protect, he had to trust his friends, too.
So he moved next to Murikabushi, waiting to see what might await them. Hopefully, something beyond the door.
Hopefully, something like answers.

"Captain" ChalcanthiteAction: Standing up, letting beni be the guineapig Reaching out to take their hand, before the blonde changed their mind. He offered a cold glare. "You may want the mirror senshi to aid us but Melpomene needs to stay out of this. No exceptions." There wasn't any room for argument in his voice as he stood and dusted himself off with a slight bit of difficulty. "I would prefer a nice quiet vacation, Italy perhaps. It could count as the honeymoon as well." Shaking his head, he just hoped they could all figure this out so there would even be a world to travel. It didn't help that the panicked feeling he'd felt from the mural was back, giving him more reason to exclude his fiance from things. But at least it was Benitoite touching the door, it meant he could avoid being hit by whatever was on the other side first. If they wanted to take risks, so be it. It wasn't something he preferred to do when he could manage.

General Benitoite Action: Words for Chalcanthite...lots of words for him. Also, hand on the lit up making on the door.
Turning his pale eyes onto the other he tilted his head. "Really? And you expect him to not involve himself." Trailing off he took a moment to look over the taller general. Slowly a smirk formed on his face. "Oh, you're not going to tell him. You might go off to fight, and die, and you aren't going to tell him. So he might be left wondering what happened to you, if you die and die and the Earth is saved." Making a tsking sound at the other he couldn't help himself, couldn't help the look on his face. "Now that is a level of cruel even I won't lower myself to. Kafka will know where I'm going and what I'm doing. I'll give him a choice, the same I'll give to others on my team." Like Lorcan, he'd give his cousin a choice and let him know, incase anything did happen.
"You can't just keep him wrapped up and protected from everything. He's not one of us nor is he order - but he is involved in this war and he knows it. He's chosen to remain involved and as active as his court ever is. You should respect him enough to let him choose what to do with this, if he wants to stand at your side and fight or not, this is potentially the fate of everyone...he should have a choice in something so big. Let him decide if he wishes to risk himself, at your side, for his future and for your future - for the future you two have together." Potentially sappy words, he knew it, but his tone was anything but sappy. There was a serious edge to his words, showing his dislike for the others choices, choices being forced unknowingly onto someone else, he didn't like it one bit.
"I'll remain silent but you should consider your choices. Secrets ruin relationships, I've learned that first hand, and secrets never remain secrets...they will come to light eventually." It was inevitable as far as he was concerned. Turning on the other he reached out and slammed his gloveless hand against the palm shaped marking on the door.
"I'll let Kafka make his own choices, because I respect him." Even if he wanted to drag him into things, as much as he wanted to have the other at his side, especially for something this big and important. He would let him know everything, he had been since he'd helped in corrupting the other.
"And Italy sounds like a good vacation. I think I'm going to talk to Kafka about a vacation as well...though not Italy." He didn't think his partner would agree to Italy, he wouldn't even allow Italian wine in the hosue after all. No, France sounded better in his opinion.

If there were not the more pressing issue of a violent storm spreading ever closer, the ancient door may have appeared imposing. There was an undeniable power within it, noticeable from aura alone and enhanced with contact. For an untold time, it had remained sealed. It was a relic of more than a forgotten world and its people, and it held untold secrets. There was so little time to glean anything from it. The storm was raging furiously from the hallway, but there was a sort of peace in the door. A promise. Light grew beneath their hands. It pulsed, not of its own rhythm but of theirs. The door followed their heartbeats, growing brighter with each beat. For a second, there was silence–and then, a click. The door needed no further motivation; it pushed open with a creak. The room beyond was dark, and yet still somehow more welcoming than what lay behind them. The stillness within had a strange sort of comfort. There was stability within, safety. It was well fortified and seemed to buffer the worst of the outside influences. As they entered the room, once more the light followed them. Pillars of light rose from the ground to the ceiling, following where they walked. The rooms were small enough that they were easily illuminated. Like the other room, there were smooth floors and walls, but if there was meant to be more here, it was lost to time or without energy to reveal itself. The ceiling glowed faintly, displaying again the hexagon from the main room. It was almost too dim to make out, but each room displayed the matching point on the hexagon. However, of far more interest: In the center of each room was a substantial, rectangular pedestal. Floating above it, held in perpetual animation and rotating slowly: a spike. And it was calling for them. Quote: Hidden away in the once-locked rooms, a two foot long spike has been stored away. They appear to be a dark, metallic grey with a noticeably greenish tint. A quarter of the spike was forged into a hilt, separated by an oddly long cross guard. Mounted atop each spike is a single, circular orb. It is black in color, but when peering deeply, the light catches it and gives the appearance of a small universe trapped inside. Only Faustite, Benitoite, Aquamarine, Murikabushi, and Solaris can interact with it, but they can share it with their companion for inspection. If their companion attempts to interact with it first, the spike will shimmer as if an illusion. These spikes do not appear to have ever been in use; they look new and freshly forged. There does not appear to be any noticeable defects, but there is an innate, raw power within them. The closing post and final information should be posted at ~11PM EST Friday night. If you have questions about anything, please PM The Space Cauldron or message Xigglet on Discord!
