General-King Faustite
Location: Upstairs
Action: Giving Muri a little bondage treatment

Muri followed the plan, then. Good enough; Faustite didn't want to stall and leave Fafnir to negotiate his own brother's release alone. While he trusted the boy to be stern and capable, this was a strange turnabout that had the White Moon acting first. And if they weren't trying to get even, then they were trying to get ahead. What that entailed? It was anyone's guess. Just as it was anyone's guess what the fallout would be if the Negaverse didn't meet demands.

Assuming they had any. An Earth Knight and a Cybele Squire did not rouse any faces that he could immediately connect to the crime. Hadn't heard Heliodor mention any such figures haranguing him before.

There was no more time to think about it. The window loomed, catching slivers of moonlight in its jagged yawn, and Faustite ascertained that the smoke had cleared. He beckoned for Muri to come closer.

Sorry, he signed, but offered no explanation before he was back in his General-King's regalia and reaching for the boy's waist sash. He shot a meaningful look back at Hestia and Mizuki before looking back up at the shattered window. One of them would have to help Fafnir negotiate. The pair vanished just as his weapon reappeared in his hand.

In a blink, they were surrounded by neglected walls and a dilapidated roof, though Faustite spared no glances for any of the three White Moon targets that cluttered the room. Teleportation was disorienting to the unpracticed, he knew, and he took advantage of the sudden lurch in scenery to force the boy to the floor with a billow of skirt and flower-bedecked drapery. His boot found Muri's back and his free hand seized a handful of ponytail to wrench the boy's head up just so. The slope of his shotel moved in, sitting heavy just below the boy's neck. If nothing else, he still looked cute face-down and with a weapon at his throat, though Faustite could do without the tacky angel wings or the headache-inducing white.

Only when his quarry was sequre did his gaze raise to recognize the others in the room. An Earth Knight and Cybele Squire, likely the same ones Muri mentioned earlier. The Knight seemed vaguely familiar, the Squire less so.

And the one holding onto Aelius like a ******** teddybear — she looked as obviously inhuman as Roka did. Already he felt his upper lip beginning to curl.

Celadon, Squire of Cybele
Location: Upstairs
Action: Recovering, and unsure what to do

Magic — it was magic. As Celadon recovered her breath, as the room cleared of that eerie smoke, she saw that her hands returned to normal. Her arms, her legs, too. While her throat still ached from coughing and her eyes still stung with tears, she wasn't rotten. Just exhausted.

Before she came in the room, she thought she had a good handle on her magic. She thought she could cast if need be, and it would last a good long while. Maybe not minutes, but long enough to matter. Now, however, she thought she might get a few scant seconds out of it before dropping the cast out of sheer lethargy. Perhaps that was what made the blue and purple Eternal (Fafnir)'s magic so powerful.

That, and his foreboding presence. Like he would tolerate nothing less than the return of Drayson. Like they wouldn't kill every last member of Order present after recovering him.

But Grieve was smart. She still had hold of Drayson like she'd survive an apocalypse with him as some sort of a human shield. It meant they still had their bargaining chip, as much as this was turning out to be a bargain. And with Hy-Brasil coming in, they were both about to find out firsthand how much their quarry was worth — and how much trouble they'd gotten themselves into for trying something so brazen.

Celadon shook her head to the question. She wasn't hurt that she could see — just worn out. "I think this is about to be bigger than we expected. We might need to trade him for safe passage for everyone who showed up."

It set them back their capture, but Celadon thought it was a worthwhile learning experience if they survived it. If such an endeavor proved fruitful, and if they could figure out how to improve on all its imperfections, then maybe they'd found a small foothold against the Negaverse. Maybe it only worked on certain members. But it was something — Celadon had to hope that there was some good to come out of this.

But, as more of them arrived, she had to put her hopes on hold. It wasn't just a smattering of reinforcements, it was the General-King with one of their own under his foot. Celadon's grip tightened on her javelin, though she had no clue how to proceed.

She hoped that Drayson was worth a great deal more than he might be letting on.

Sailor Aruna Senshi of Landslides
Location: Outside
Action: Being cautious with Drombeg and trying to make a plan

"Whatever it is, they didn't feel the need to tell anyone. Which makes it seem very, very bad. Withholding information from your own side is reckless and dangerous." Aruna scowled, not liking the feeling of this entire situation. She didn't know enough other people to be able to reach out and ask what in the crap was going on, so she had to trust her gut here.

"My magic is Landslides. I can destabilize an area and attack with rocks. Potentially helpful but....I want to save it as a last resort. For now, I think we should circle around and see if there's any sort of secondary exit or another way in we can help get people out through."

Eternal Murikabushi of Hunger
Location: Upstairs.
Action: Playing the (beautiful and snarky) hostage.

Fortunately for Faustite, Murikabushi had been a Theater Kid in school (well. inasmuch as he’d been allowed to, given his social situation). Yeah, okay, head spinning from the teleportation in a way that definitely didn’t happen when going to his homeworld via senshi phone, but Muri had definitely experienced worse disorientation (<******** thanks for that, Mirrorspace). Getting shoved to his knees—well, wasn’t that just a normal Tuesday, though?

(It wasn’t, really. Hadn’t been for a while. Could’ve been if Yuki would’ve been more into playing that way. But none of this was anybody’s business unless Murikabushi decided to involve them in his private life, so—)

As Faustite’s boot stomped on his back, Muri stifled a groan. Bit his lip as Faustite tugged on his hair, in the way that he would’ve done if he’d really been in danger and trying not to let Faustite have the satisfaction of knowing that his bullshit was affecting Muri.…… The weapon caressing Muri’s throat was a good touch, though. Swallowing too hard made Muri’s Adam’s apple press right into the blade. His breath hitched. His heart quivered. But Faustite wasn’t actually going to hurt him (no more than was necessary to get Aelius back with his own people, anyway).

(Faustite could have hurt him. But he wasn’t going to. Murikabushi needed, desperately, to believe that Faustite wasn’t going to really hurt him—)

“So much for trying to be kind to you,” Muri snarked toward Faustite, because it was what he would have done while genuinely being held hostage by any other General-Sovereign, so he needed to do it here, too.

Something else came to mind to say—but…Muri hesitated a moment. From the outside, it could probably be chalked up to trepidation over the potential lethality of the situation. Internally, Muri didn’t know whether or not Faustite would take it to heart for real.…… Maybe expressing the sentiment could happen with different phrasing? But it did still involve accusations that might’ve sounded like something Faustite could’ve heard from any of the people who’d genuinely tried to make him feel like he deserved being treated like ********, Muri wasn’t sure. It wasn’t like they’d had the time to work out a proper safe-word for this? But Murikabushi had promised Faustite that he’d be snappy and bitchy.……

“Tell a boy your sob story. Make him believe you’re really hurting and broken up inside. Then get him on his knees as a <******** pawn to swap for someone you actually care about? Is that how you work with all the leggy pretty boys or am I special?”

Grieve of Grieve
Location: upstairs / back bedroom
Action: Assessing the situation, attempting a negotiation

As the corrupted eternal stepped forward, Grieve gave a small jerk back at the motion, teeth sinking in just a bit further. Her eyes, never leaving Fafnir's, narrowed. You move forward, it's not gonna be a ******** negotiation.

It was long though, until the ******** teleportation bullshit was in play, and several new figures entered the scene. Presumably the little stove was the General King they'd been crying about, but he was dwarfed in both size and importance by the one he'd thrown down an threatened.

"Mrfreebsh?" Grieve asked with her mouth full.

"Fcgh."

If he came to save her because of her message...well, that was a pretty Murikabushi thing to do. But she'd have to talk to him about calling in reinforcements for s**t like this later. Just because he was an Eternal now didn't mean he was above needing some ******** help when pulling her bony a** out of the likely literal fire.

Oh...it'd been his s**t taste in men, instead. Well...that was also a pretty Murikabushi thing to do.

There was also a corrupt flowery girl and a....corrupt ********' Hestia. ********' really?! By Cosmos's Crusty Cooch. One that'd lived past their teens even, what the ******** was looking a lot ********' weirder than she'd expected, but it wasn't terrible. Yet.

"Ffn." Grieve agreed to the obvious offer. "Frn rn frth." Frowning, she lifted her mouth slightly but tightened her grip on Aelius's waist. "Turn 'round first. Face the wall." Maybe not the smoke ********, either of them, but enough magic relied on sight that she wanted to minimize some of their effectiveness where possible.

Sailor Inari, senshi of foxes
Location: Outside
Action: Circling around to see if there's any other way in aside from the front door like a window or something

This was bad, and getting worse quickly. Inari was rusty and this was so above her skill level. Still, the way the Chaos agents moved was almost admirable. They had a clear rank and order, clear direction, and it was... well, for something that calls itself Chaos, it sure was very orderly. And angry. From the little she could overhear, it sounded like a hostage situation? Did Order really start taking hostages now? She wrinkled her nose but decided to withhold judgement for now until she could learn the truth of it all. For now, she would see if there was a window she could slip in through. After all, a smokescreen could help people escape.

Inari quietly slipped around the perimeter, tensing as she tried to ignore the overwhelming feeling of grossness on her skin. She had not missed this in the time she had been gone. Not one little bit. God, she should have stayed in Japan. Japan didn't have this nonsense. Japan had takoyaki and a warm bed waiting for her. Not youma and pissed off negas and god only knows what the hell else was within the walls of this crappy little house.

Eternal Corrupt Chrysocolla
Location: Outside
Action: Jumpscaring Inari
For all the things that could be said about Chrysocolla, she didn't actually have much to say on Murikabushi at all, not even in her head; if he'd been useful, he'd been useful. She was no stranger to pretty Eternal boys in white with bafflingly strong senses of righteousness: she had one herself she was very fond of, in fact.

...Who didn't seem to be here. Hopefully that was both true and going to continue. Ideally Kerberos had maybe grown a few braincells worth of self-preservation! She didn't think he had. Or that he ever would. But it was nice to hope about something.

She crossed her arms across her chest and glanced around with an unimpressed look on her face. There was Faustite's mess, in on two fronts, maybe three, maybe four. No. She wasn't going to be in that mess.

But there was a spot of bright color out of the corner of her eye. Some weak little senshi in oranges with fuchsia hair, scurrying around like a rat, off on her own. And weaklings should go around in groups - it was the only protection they were going to meaningfully get, after all - but this girl hadn't gotten the memo. Uh-oh.

Chrysocolla took a moment to focus and teleported a bit behind Inari - close enough to touch, if she wanted. Close enough that stray wind might've smacked Inari with a teal ponytail. "There's not a way out over here," she said, and cultivated her voice to hit that cross-section of disdain and mildness: the idea that no, maybe she wasn't going to immediately murder Inari, but given a reason she gladly would. Which was true! "Trying to run off?"

Sailor Inari, senshi of foxes
Location: Outside
Action: Having the living crap scared out of her and wishing she stayed in japan

Yup. Staying in Japan would have been the much wiser choice for the senshi of foxes. She was so preoccupied at seeing what was in front of her that she didn't even bother seeing what was behind her. The voice behind her made her jump and emit a rather humiliating squeak, her blood running cold as she turned to face the person who confronted her. Well, s**t.

Inari gave a very anxious laugh, her smile the sort that a guilty child would have when caught with their hand in the cookie jar. "I'm not running anywhere, nope. Just trying to figure out what the heck is going on and reallllllly regretting some life choices tonight." Maybe the Corrupt would take pity on her, since she wasn't in the middle of the fight and was mostly just snooping. Maybe she would find the awkward laughter pitiable enough to not horribly maim Inari. But also, maybe she could use this too. Maybe she could ask what has them just so pissed off.

"Before you uh. Decide on whatever you're gonna do to me. Will you at least tell me what even pissed you all off to corner them in there?" Curiosity was going to be the death of her one day, though hopefully it wouldn't be today.

Daekie

Corrupt Mauvian Desiree
Location: Inside front door squeezing through
Action: sneaking

"I'll stick to the ground for now, it'll be easier for me to get through that way. Let's go, after Benitoite, follow the blonde." Pouncing forward as she hurried along, there was already magic flying as the door was breached. Sticking low and diving between the feet of that captain (Litharge) who had kicked the door in, she tried to use the chaos of it all to get past as many of them as she could.

More than once she'd felt her tail come into contact with someone or something but she hoped they'd be too busy with the rest of the people coming in to notice little old her. The only problem was something felt like static and it was making her fur start to stand on end. After another moment she growled and then gone was the forest cat and a very pissed-off woman stood and shoved the static senshi (Encke) forward toward the front door and the oncoming crowd.

General Chalcanthite *Captain aura due to Engraved medallion
Location: Outside
Action: Shots fired through the open door

All hell broke loose once the door came down and it made him so very glad that he had the luxury of range to allow him to stay out of the thick of it. More than one type of magic seemed to be going off and he recognized that odd knight shield from before. Both times he hadn't gotten a good view of who was using it but as soon as it faded he fired a few arrows past the captain (Litharge) and Benitoite. It was hard to see the rest of the senshi or knights inside so far but if any of them thought to step out here he'd make them question that decision.

Keeping an eye on the building, he looked at the windows in case anyone tried to make use of them from the inside. It wasn't the best viewpoint here on the ground, he was used to being up higher and supporting from a better vantage point but he needed to keep close to his team.

Illyria
Location: Outside
Action: Answering Caliban

As the various auras began to coalesce around the general perimeter Illyria had been debating if she simply should have stayed away from everything. Her tail swished back and forth before there was another presence coming up behind her. At least it was a friendly presence as the aura of the person was that of an eternal senshi. Spinning around Illyria watched the newcomer before her attention went back to the sheer amount of Negaverse agents and corrupted senshi that had shown up.

At the question that was posed Illyria made a simple gesture of nodding before she sighed, "some members of Order managed to make a connection of a civilian identity of who they believe was a corrupt senshi. They were holding him in that house and trying to decide what was the best way to deal with him, and to send a message to the Negaverse."

Her eyes flashed with a little bit of worry but she remained where she was standing, "Simply put, they obviously weren't thinking straight because I'm pretty sure that somehow, word got out and now they might be in the finding out stage."

Aelius (Eternal Corrupt Senshi, Heliodor)
Location: Upstairs (Back bedroom)
Action: Thrilled to see Faustite and more of the team, worried what Grieve has planned, Bleeding from the teeth wounds in his neck, nbd.

Fafnir’s attack was finally dissipating leaving Aelius free to suck in a few fresh breaths of air. He had to be careful though and only take the shallowiest of breaths so as not to pierce himself against sharp teeth and nails. ********, it made Grieve sound like a vicious dog, and honestly, Aelius wasn’t opposed to considering the woman just that. A mangy mutt that somehow was just dangerou enough to warrant being cautious around.

As the attack cleared and everyone was able to catch their breath, a familiar form appeared in the room. The glow of a fire lit the room further than the small camp light ever could and Aelius swore he could feel the warmth of the flames against his cheek from where he was pinned in Grieve’s clutches.

Aelius had not expected to see Muri carted along with Faustite and subjected to the bottom of the General Kings ornate boots. Hestia and Zuzu also came along, likely as back-up.

“Faustite.” That single name held a plethora of emotions tethered to it. He swallowed slowly. Eyes taking in the sight of Faustite as he let himself feel yet another wave of relief. He’d come. Aelius had been uncertain that the boy would come for him. Honestly, he thought perhaps an extraction would come via Albite or some other of members of the team. Not Faustite himself and certainly not Faustite using Muri as a means to get Aelius.

And Either Muri was honestly being used here, or he was doing a damn fine job of being his annoying, boisterous and now hostage self. It was hard to tell if it was an act or not, but he honestly didn’t have the time to contemplate Muri’s possible acting skills.

He could feel Grieve talking. Feel those teeth bite into his skin as the vibrations of her indiscernible words tickled his skin. He was fairly sure now that each of those sharp teeth had punctured his skin. How far, he wasn’t sure, but he was still able to breath and she hadn’t ripped out any chunks of flesh.

Then finally. FINALLY she removed the teeth and Aelius finally felt like perhap he was getting out of this alive and in one piece. But Grieve’s demand…

“Don’t take your eyes off of her.” He croaked out against the threatening nails that still dug at him. He had no idea what the senshi’s magic was or what she may have planned in this situation, but taking eyes off of her was not likely to be healthy for anyone.

Transcendent Eternal Encke of Plasma
Location: Stairs, around mid-way down
Action: Shoving right back up the stairs, casting more magic on the Mauvian this time

The shove caught him off-guard, and he flailed backward down a couple of steps. The ******** were only a few things Encke cared about in this particular fight:
  • Get the people of Order away from this building
  • Get them away from General-King Faustite, who he was fairly certain was close by

Being shoved down the stairs by a catgirl who had used the captain as a shield only accomplished that for him, albeit clumsily, and he didn't particularly care about it for his own sake. He had, after all, previously stuck around inside a burning theatre until it had almost collapsed just to save people. Until he gained more strength, using his magic had electrocuted him just as much. He had already died once. Harm's way meant nothing to him.

He planted his foot on the next step with more force than necessary to balance the momentum swing. That force he channeled into shoving her hard right back, growling, "Enjoy some electricity, b***h."

Encke put his head down and charged back up the stairs to rejoin Solaris and the young knights she had with her. He needed to get them out.

Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: "Ionization!"
Encke points his left pointer finger forward at his adversary. Suddenly, the air around the adversary sounds like it is crackling, and before long, small purple-blue sparks begin to hit their body, causing the sensation of small shocks all over them. Effectively, the air around them has become conductive and ionized, like plasmas. Players can also choose to keep lasting damage after the duration ends, such as soreness or residual shocks.
(Uses: Thrice per battle.
Duration: 30 seconds
Range: 10ft radius around the target. This attack will hit other adversaries in the radius, but not allies.)

Passive Enhancement: Plasma Generator - Encke's passive enhancement taps into his deep relationship with his comet's energy sources and his own magic. He's gained the ability to mirror some of the elements of his own magical source. While active, Encke's form is surrounded by a static fuzz much like touching a plasma ball; imperceptible to the human eye, the odd sensation, while not harmful, can make someone's hair stand on end. Time in his sphere may cause a harmless (though annoying) static zap when touching anything metal or another person.

Corrupt Sailor Ako
Location: Inside/Stairs
Action: No longer following orders

Following Des inside, Ako's eyes quickly darted around to try and take inventory of faces, taking quick mental notes of helpful descriptions for later. She didn't really recognize anyone on either side, having not ever been particularly involved in things prior to her corruption, but it would help her to recognize faces again should she ever have the misfortune of crossing paths. After all, she didn't have any friendly feelings towards people who held others captive.

Ako had truly meant to be a good little soldier. She really truly had meant to follow orders and be useful. She had had zero ideas about throwing hands. But the moment she saw Des get shoved, all of those nice ideas went right out the window. That was her friend, one of the few people she cared about, and that electric p***k was all she wanted to set her sights on now.

"Pyrocumulus!" She watched as flames sprung to life around the feet of the vibrant senshi (Encke), hopefully stopping him from reaching the top of the stairs. If nothing else, she may have potentially stopped anyone using the stairs for a bit, should they catch fire from her attack.

Sailor Scout Attack: Pyrocumulus
-picking a target, a cloud forms above their head as a line of fire surrounds their feet. the fire feeds heat into the cloud, turning it (basically) into a storm cloud of hot wind and ashy rain. It serves as a distraction, though they can get free if they dare risk the fire (slight singeing of the clothing can happen but no real harm comes to the target aside from normal effects of inhaling smoke such as a sore throat and/or coughing). Three uses per battle, attack lasts fifteen seconds.

Basic Corrupt Triplite
Location: Downstairs, inside the building now
Action: Assessing the situation to see who she can hurt

Triplite finally made it inside and, ignoring the fact that she was on the side of Chaos and Chaos was fighting Order, it was quite the chaotic scene. It seemed that some of the Agents had made their way through already, she missed it! But Order had retaliated as best they could, with one Eternal making their way back upstairs. She grunted in frustration. How was she supposed to beat anyone up if they were all going back upstairs and not staying to fight?!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Knight Drombeg
Location: Outside
Action: Preparing for a battle

Drombeg nodded. "If we can, we will need to have a meeting about what happened here later. I know we aren't the most organized, but this needs to be discussed, if anything we need to have a better plan than whatever it is they had." Which he doubted was much of one unless it was just "hope the Negaverse doesn't notice".

He sighed. "Yes, I think that's the best we can do. If there's another opening that they can come out of, at least then we can make a distraction to help them escape." He stood up a little. "You can follow behind me if you want. I don't want any other Order getting hurt because of this group's actions".

Inside his head he was raging however. The Negaverse was bad which is why he had wanted to switch sides so badly once he had found out he could do that, but this?!? Whatever they were doing, it made them just as bad as the Negaverse! And if he was able to, they would get quite the talking from him!

Eternal Caliban
Location: Outside
Action: Speaking about the situation with Illyria

Caliban was also cursing, but this was out loud and not in his head. "What were they thinking?!?" They obviously weren't, and why the hell were they kidnapping Negaverse Agents?! He couldn't even think of how this would have ended in any other way. What, did they just think that the Negaverse wouldn't try to rescue one of their own when they were wholly more organized than Order ever was?!

"Definitely the finding out stage." He muttered. There were still plenty of Agents outside, including at least one Youma, and the General-King didn't appear to be out here. He was inside then. He felt conflicted. He of course, wanted to help, but due to the situation that the group had put themselves in he was having a hard time wanting to try to attempt to rescue them when they were so outnumbered. He didn't want to risk his life attempting to save a group that so easily put their own lives in danger without thinking of the consequences.

He sighed. "If I see them come out I'll help, but for now, I'll continue to assess the situation."

Knight Alphubel
Location: Outside
Action: Attempting to cause some confusion

Alphubel could feel a lump in his throat before he swallowed. He was here, mostly alone, this group having not made it outside themselves, the General-King obviously inside... and basically no backup from Order. Had this group done something so terrible that everyone else knew about that they refused to help them out of the situation? He felt uneasy about the whole thing and it made him tremble a little.

But if he was going to be of any help at all, then he needed to do it now. If his magic did nothing and his life was in danger, then he would run away, like a coward, but still with his life. Perhaps the group didn't deserve to be rescued, but as small as Alhpubel felt now, there was a reason he had become a Knight. He had helped fight against the aliens who sided with the Negaverse, and while that had hurt, it had taught him he had some power.

He stood up, and walked towards a General, Eternal Corrupt, and Captain that had been huddled together, though there were other groups and even a Youma.

As soon as he could however, he planted his staff and started pouring magic into it, hoping that his enemies would at least hurt themselves a bit before they could hurt any of the Order that arrived trying to help the team inside.

Sailor Aruna Senshi of Landslides
Location: Outside
Action: Preparing with Drombeg to help

Aruna nodded, definitely in agreement about needing a meeting. At the very least, she was going to have words with Kerberos later, because this was nonsense. "Sending that sos out like that with some major information missing... someone is going to get very, very hurt."

The scowl stayed in place on Aruna's delicate features as she nodded, keeping behind Drombeg. "To be honest, I'd rather not see anyone hurt if we can help it. Have you ever seen anything like this before?" Aruna was still considerably new as a senshi, having only around half a year under her belt since she had awakened, and she had most definitely never seen something so haphazard before. It made her anxious about the stability of their faction.
