Max figured he had some time on the outside but then finds his hair grabbed, as the fans nearby cry out to the ref to stop that. Clearly not a legal move, surely!?

Whether it was legal, fair, or morally correct. It did not matter. Trent has gone off the deep end. With hair in his hand, Trent aimed to drive his opponent into the barricade with as much power behind it as he can get!

Steel met.. well, steel, as he collided hard with the barricade. The showboat writhed on the outside mats, gripping his shoulder and crying out in pain!

The crowd would continue to boo Trent as it only seemed to fuel this assault on Maxwell. Trent, looking down at the pained Steel, would double over, grabbing and picking him up by his head. Staring right into the face of the opponent who no longer was taunting and being jovial. Finally, Trent was getting what he wanted out of his opponent now, and all it took was a bit of a turn.

Trent grabbed Max and pulled him up, staring into his face.. there was a look of ill intent on his face, one that Steel hadn't noticed at the start of this match.
Max then.. chuckled. Yeah, chuckled. And he kept going, almost hysterically!

The next few moments Trent would not recall. But in these moments Trent would take that smug face of Max. Grab it and bring it real close while the man became hysterical, seeing that face one good time before he turned and tossed Max into the path of the steel turnbuckle!

The face of Max went from smiling and laughing, right into complete disbelief.. as his shoulder crashed into the turnbuckle, his body spiraling as he crashed out on the mats outside.
He wanted to cry out in pain but the adrenaline coursing him was allowing him to keep that cry from coming out.

Just when people thought the climax of Trent's anger was met, they would find out he was running off fumes. Mounting the downed Max, pounding down at the skull and shoulder with big axe handles smashes and forearm strikes a plenty!

This match had quickly gone from a showboating technical spectacle, to a brutal beating .. and in no time at all, Trent was back on the offensive, raining down vicious blow after blow on top of Max. As much as he tried to cover up, this wasn't looking good and he was taking a lot of damage here.
The ref began a count from the ring..
One!

Trent was taking liberties as he continued to throw as many strikes as he can. He was the antithesis of his opponent. He didn't need to be flashy, he was impactful and rough. And the official couldn't do anything but count from the inside of the ring as the action stayed outside.

Two!
Keeping his arms up, Max ended up falling down on to his back, legs up in the air trying to protect his body. This was starting to look like an MMA brawl more than a pro wrestling match!

And it was starting to look more personal than just a pro wrestling match. As the count no longer mattered to Trent in this moment. He was going to keep pounding down, and when he got tired of that, he would simply stand up and begin stomping down on Max.

Four
The mud hole was being stomped down and Max was beginning to stop defending himself, taking a few hard shots to the head in the process.
The crowd watched on worried, wondering if Trent was here just to cause pain.. this was Max's debut match!

And it may just be his last!
The count would finally hit five as Trent would step away from Max. Climbing the apron and entering the ring. Trent on board with letting the count out be the reason he picks up the victory.

Six!
Max Steel looked genuinely awful on the outside, he looked beaten and done for. He groaned slightly as the ref continued his count, with Steel looking towards the ring and seeing Trent in there.
Seven!
Steel slowly moves towards the ring, almost crawling as he does so. He doesn't look good in the slightest, his movements deliberate but very very slow..
Eight!
Max is getting closer now but still at a very slow pace, the ref getting so close ..
Nine!
This is it, Max just isn't going to make it, and Trent will come away with a win via count-out..
Te-
In the last moment Max uses his last few drops of energy to leap to his feet and slide into the ring!
He lays there, facedown, his chest visibly moving up and down with a thorough motion.
