Blaze, meanwhile, takes this moment in time to simply lean on the apron and attempt to reorient himself after several shots from those steel stairs

His head was killing him as he could feel the blood running from the top of his head from where he struck the steps. If he ever went bald, his head would look like a baseball.
He struggled to get to his spaghetti legs and also took some time to lean on the apron and get his wits about him.

Salem dropped the hard elbow into Marcus, making his back and spine smashed into the steel ladder beneath him! Erynys and Blaze were still preoccupied, and with Marcus laying on the only ladder around, "Showtime" would look to inflict some more punishment - turning Marcus over with the ladder now on his back and his chest to the canvas!
Feeding his long legs through the rungs, Salem would seek to twist them through the steel and lean back into a Texas Cloverleaf, using the ladder to pin Marcus' chest down as he sat into it!

a whole lot of twisting and turning later and Marcus is trapped in a Texas Cloverleaf. Unfortunately he has no way to escape on his own.
Blaze, however, slides into the ring, and he's had enough of the challengers being in control. Coming in, he looks to grab Salem by the throat to force him tor release the hold, then pull him away from Marcus and the ladder for a chokeslam

After a few moments, his head cleared and the room stopped spinning. He bent down as if to convey he was still out of it, but in reality, he was looking under the ring for something, all the while keeping an eye on the action in the ring.

The crowd howled with approval as Salem sunk the cloverleaf in deep through the ladders rungs, until Blaze goozled the Savage by the neck and pulled him off his cousin! Lifting him high for a chokeslam, "Showtime" had his spine slammed to the canvas!

He soon found what he was looking for; a pair of chairs. He slid both of them in the ring before entering the ring himself. One of the chairs he picked up and coming up behind Blaze, would look to blast him in the back with it.
If the were successful, he would look to set up the ladder and unfold the chair by the ladder.

Marcus rolls out of the ring once he's free from the hold, his legs in quite a bit of pain from the time spent.
Blaze, meanwhile, is blasted across the back with the chair, knocking him face first to the mat

Having taken care of Blaze for the time being, he would then turn his attention on setting up the ladder again and positioning it underneath the titles and then grabbing the other chair, and unfolding it, set it up near the ladder.

"Damn it!" Marcus mumbles as he fights through the pain to pull himself. Still, he has to do something to save the titles. He slides into the ring, noting that Erynys is climbing the ladder and attempts to grab his leg to pull him back down

Setting up the ladder, he took a moment to admire the titles before he began to climb. One rung at a time, he felt his heart pound the closer he got.
Suddenly he felt himself impeded at Marcus grabbed hold if his leg, causing him to pause and try to kick Marcus off of him.

Salem squirmed on the mat, trying to gather himself up off the canvas following Blaze's chokeslam, but noticed as he was recovering that Blaze had been replaced by Marcus in the ring, who was trying to pull his partner from the ladder! Noticing the nearby chair set up, "Showtime" would try to assist his tag partner by getting to his feet and leaping off the seat of the chair towards Marcus, trying to catch him with the C.O.D. for a second time!

Marcus unfortunately is kicked back, and is going back to reach for Erynys again when Salem comes up out of nowhere and drops him with the C.O.D.
Blaze, meanwhile, is slowly pushing himself up again, more than a bit groggy and a slitch hitch in his step from the shot from the chair. However, he stumbles to the ladder on the other side of Erynys and climbs up shakily, attempting to clock him with a shot to the jaw to stop his ascent

He owed a debt to his partner for taking care of Marcus as the ring shook from the impact of their landing. Unfortunately that was when Blaze made a shocking return and climbed up to meet him on the other side and he rocked him with a massive right hand to the jaw that made him sway on the ladder.
He knew if he fell off here, it was over from them. He shook his head to get rid of the pain that made his already aching head spin. He massaged his jaw before he looked to fire back with a big right hand of his own.

Blaze is rocked with a right, leaving him a bit unsteady on the ladder and it almost appeared he was going to fall. He puts himself right again and reels back, throwing yet another right as he steps up a rung higher to bring himself closer to eye to eye with Erynys
