Hajime didn't have time to stop for much longer, he bolted forward into the chaos he'd thrown into the battle; albeit a bit slower than normal due to the Hardening technique. Rubble covered samurai and yokai. Screams could be heard, man and 'Monster' alike. In that moment they were both very much the same. Dead or dying. In his way. He bounded and leaped. His eyes catching the three samurai ahead of him, drawing their bows. Blue chakra was building up and they were all aimed at him.
With a breath his two blades where filled with chakra, when the archers loosed their load. He'd slash to the left with his right blade. Chakra arcing off of his steel, toward one of the arrows. Then Haji'd lunge a direct thrust at the arrow most in front of him with this left blade. More chakra was sent flying, on a collision course for another arrow. A flick of his right blade and he sent his own attack right at the last arrow. Bam. He took off, confident that his attack was sufficient. He had to get back to Arashi, immediately.

Prepared for anything from below, they were not however prepared for what came from above. The tornado touched down on their position and would begin to tear into Coto and Yamako. Coto would quickly begin forming hand seals which would cause the earth below him to raise into a barrier to protect both himself and Yamako from the wrath of the tornado. Though he felt Yamako likely did not need such. They both would take this opportunity to reposition themselves. Coto and the dragon would both suddenly sink into the ground, swimming through the earth wall they made quickly to make it back to normal ground level. Honestly, Coto felt he helped enough...'Perhaps we should prepare to leave...' He thought as he remained within the wall alongside his dragon waiting for a better moment to strike once again.

Maemi was focused along with many others as she made sure that no one was going to be harmed. One, because her fiance was definitely not in the mindset to heal anyone. Two, it was part of her job? Wasn't it? Stayed behind, Maemi was just going to make sure no one gets to the village. With the three boulders hurling towards her, with a swift motion of her right arm, snapping sounds of branches can be heard as they engulfed the boulder, it took some time with the power of the boulder as the branches keep regrowing before wrapping around on the boulder and throwing two of them back. During that, with a swift motion of her left, she claps her hands together and 'dove' into the earth. Buried a few feet deep, she could feel the thud of the ground as it got a bit tight for her before it rolled and was caught by the branches and too, thrown back. Maemi was no longer amused or even in a good mood. There was dirt everywhere. Pulled herself up, she grumbled angrily as she tried to dust herself but ended up smearing dirt everywhere. Hissed under her breath, she hated being dirty and she could swear she can feel some of the dirt up in her a** crack and it's causing Maemi's quick foul mood.

Hasaki appreciated that Usagi heard her fairly and was willing to put an order out in relation to the genins request, even if she understood that people would only be showing the Yokai such mercy if they could afford to. Hasaki was half distracted by the womanโs techniques and whatever she was building up before, as usual, Usagi teleported away. Hasaki turned toward the battlefield at this point, deciding it was time to get to work and disable as many invader as possible, pulling out her flute and cracking the fingers with the opposite hand off of the side of her head before stretching out her fingers and charging her hand with the most staple of Jutsu her clan used, no need for handseals with Jutsu of her clans or most Fuuin. She loosed the buckles on the master scroll on her back so it could slightly open and become accessible for when needed, before tapping Jill on the shoulder with her hand, creating an unseen tattoo of a stone golem with cages for hands.
Repeating this action with Hakushi and Seth, the two of them watching Hasaki through their peripheral vision and recognizing a subtle prompt in her movements that called them over, her hand giving each a re-assuring stroke and creating the same unseen tattoo on them as their sister. Hameline didnโt need to move from her location and simply swished her tail within reach of her human sister, receiving another light tap and getting a hidden tattoo of a cute plush Hasaki had been contemplating purchasing... No one would need to know and Hasaki would remove it later. With a humming sound to indicate thought, Hasaki was on the safe side of a large mass of area of effect techniques and saw little reason to leave her post and instead surveyed from where she was, lifting her flute to her mouth and beginning to play a relatively swift and upbeat sounding rhythm, black lines forming from the inside of her mouth and spreading out across her body as she activated her Blessed mark.
Seth and Hakushi would immediate start moving, sheering away from Hameline toward the growing forest conjured by Usagi, they two of them digging through the created brush and pulling out an injured Tani shinobi. Seth carefully picked up the shinobi with his front paw, his size and greater intelligence allowing him to simply scoop the person up and onto Hakushi back, who in turn bolted toward the wall and bounded up upon it, delivering the man to medical shinobi who were standing by. Hameline would start going after the disarmed Samurai that had made it through the cracks of all the large scale Jutsu, spinning around and using her enormous tail to slap the first samurai she saw directly in the mid section with enough force to crack a wall (A-ranked tailslap). Immediately after the first slap her tail would swing upward and come down to slam the likely of-balance Samurai into the ground in an attempt to disable him(A-ranked tailslap), letting out a snort of annoyance as she leered at them out the corner of her eye to see if they remained conscious. Jill didnโt move away like the others and instead stood in front of Hasaki in a sideways posture to cover her owners body with her own, watching out for potential danger to her owner that Hasaki might miss due to conducting the other furballs or outside of her perception but within Jills.

For two posts per rank of the technique the user's physical contact with any target allows them to apply a fuuinjutsu technique or clan technique on that target as well as creating permanent tattoos to willing targets. Tattoos applied unwillingly must be removed with the flesh, surgically or removed by another clan member and allow fuuinjutsu techniques and clan techniques cast by the user to be applied directly to the target for two posts per rank of the applied technique. โฑโฐโฑThe general watched as gates of hell opened up as a result of Usagi. Hundreds of members of his army, as well as siege equipment, were swallowed up. Meanwhile, hundreds of massive trees began sprouting up and annihilating even more samurai. Kiyoko's mud technique managed to wash away samurai who ran away from the creation of the trees and forced them to be consumed as well. He bit his inner cheek in frustration before it was lights out. Without any ability to predict what was coming next, he was instantly forced into oblivion by the sudden appearance of Usagi beside him and brought down the massive rasengan. This enormous spiraling sphere of chakra killed another dozen surrounding samurai at the same time.
Meanwhile, Shintoru continued cleaving through the battlefield with ease. Dozens of samurai were impaled by the massive field of bones that sprouted up through the roots. Those that were not slain by Usagi's massive writhing roots were finished off by the bones.
Dozens of samurai were destroyed by the thread-based spirits of Tomoe's creation. The separation of the spirits from her body spelled doom for numerous samurai instantly. Massive explosions left little else in Tomoe's wake as the monkey sage and her spirits ripped through the battlefield.
Clem's counterattacks managed to stop the massive trebuchet blasts. When she landed and caused an explosion the sheer froce blasted away a dozen invading samurai.
When Tamiko returned their fire arrows to them each one collided with the unsuspecting archers. They all collapsed before even more samurai were swept up in a current generated by Tamiko's handsigns. What's worse was that they were then electrocuted violently by the conduction of the water as well as their thick metal plate samurai armor.
Hajime's attacks landed successfully before he flew off to Arashi. Each attack sliced through the arrows. This was before the slashes dug into the armor of the samurais assaulting him. All three of them collapsed to the ground before Haji took off.
When Maemi threw back the payloads to the trebuchets they were unable to react quickly enough. The boulders destroyed the very siege machines that launched them to begin with.
Hameline and the other creatures successfully slammed down multiple samurai. These were the final samurai to lose their lives in the failed invasion. The absolute carnage that Usagi and the others unleashed killed every samurai with no remaining survivors. The only survivors were the many yokai who were not targeted. The yokai suddenly came to their senses and quickly left the area. The yokai that were using a tornado against Coto suddenly ceased and flew home.

Still bouncing around between the trees and his bone spikes, Shin could probably still be heard laughing maniacally . He could hear things running through the weird combo forest back torts the village gates and would bolt back there. It was then that the Tanikageโs line from earlier about not killing the yohkai finally reached the conscious part of the young manโs mind. Slowly the laughing died down, then stopped.
If Maemi was within sight of Shin, she would see the grotesque skeletal form heโd taken on during the battle begin to recede back into his skin before the gray color of it narrowed back to him being covered in contorting parallel lines. As he stood there, mentally fighting for control, the lines would also begin receding until he looked normal again, the one difference being a pair of reddish flower petal markings above the inner corner of his eyebrows. Once the markings had receded completely, Shinโs shoulders slumped in exhaustion.. he would start to walk back to find where he had hid his shirt and vest before the battle, but as he approached the spot, his knees gave way and he started to fall face first to the dirt. He wondered where Maemi was, if she and her family members that came to fight were ok, as the darkness closed in on him.

At least it was over. Ugh. Dirty and filthy, she checked her jewels. Man. Everything was going to be hard to remove! Made her way back over to where Shin left his clothes, assuming he would be back for it, she saw the family members of hers that were safe. Then she saw Shin. He looked different but being a shinobi and mortician in Tani village it was hard to surprise this lady anymore. One thing certain did surprise her. As she noticed he was about to fall, she forgotten about the dirt and attempted to grab him but ended up being awkward as he lands on her as they fall to the ground. With a thud, Maemi let out a soft oof exhale. Maemi saw her father rose his eyebrow at her, "Can you help me out here?"
"Funny. You can handle the bodies at the morgue, not this?"
Without thinking, "That's because they are dead weight not- OH WOULD YOU JUST HELP ME?!" Maemi yelped to her father as he chuckled and helped her roll Shin to his back gently. She stroke some of the dirt away and kissed his forehead. No longer wanting to show affection in public;
"Let's go home. I'm so ready for a bath. I feel ugly and dirty."

Iksin would find himself once more approaching Tanigakure. The walk to this place was quite annoying and difficult if he were being honest. However he didn't feel as...intrusive as he had once felt he could be so to speak. He took the time to make his way and he also didn't particularly want to scare anyone with his primary method of entrance anyways. Not that they'd have any need to be scared, Iksin had heard of the situation. What happened when the samurai's forces attacked Tani. How an army of 5000 was taken out practically alone by the woman who was the kage here. Of course there were other people there, other fighters, everyone that was around at the office when he showed up helped he was sure. But part of him wished he hadn't gone to Zaishin so he could see exactly what had happened that day. Regardless, he was fine with it. Everything happens for a reason right?
That aside, as spectacular as it was. Most of the well known people were probably capable of accomplishing similar feats of power. Displays of strength were not particularly hard to come by in a world such as this one. Iksin himself knew what he could do even if others might not know exactly. He had a reputation for a certain thing, but never has his power been truly assessed in his own opinion. Even at Zaishin he didn't get to do much...although back then he was probably much weaker than now anyways. All this aside his train of thought was quickly interrupted by the voice of a fairly small almost puppy sized monster walking nearby him.
I can not believe you have made me take this form, human. The voice said, despite the appearance of the beast walking next to him it's voice was deep, and wise some might say. "This form is...filthy, disgusting, weak." The beast emphasized his hatred of the weak looking form he was in. Iksin however would merely turn to the small dragon like creature. "We'll you'll just have to deal with it, we can't have you scaring people the moment we arrive. It is rude, this form is much more efficient. Besides what would you do flying around all big and scary in a small village in a small valley?" The beast answered Iksin's question with under it's breath and unintelligible mumbling.
They would soon approach the entrance to the small village. The gates which had been defended by the residents of Tanigakure. Iksin wasn't completely sure why, but he felt this would be where he would end up. And following his own school of thought...why wait for destiny when you can go to it? He would stop at the gates look them up and down and politely call out to the guards...if they had any. Iksin himself was still quite unsure of whether or not they'd have a lot of stuff. Seeing as he could only assume based on their size and very recent feats that there were little in the ways of shinobi here. He could of course be wrong though. "Hello?"
On the other side of the walls, behind the great gates and barriers, where no soldiers stood but no civilians dared to linger, a small girl, small enough to be a child, with a bandaged eye saw the only other person on the long, long road: a boy with pink hair and eyes transfixed as a small rabbit's would be in the face of a wolf's maw.
A small, injured rabbit to be exact.
Though, staring at him as the seconds ticked by, this small silver child had no right to call him out for his wide-eyed gaze. "'Cute,' is that what it is?"
She was no innocent maiden in love, however, nor a young lady flabbergasted by attraction. Upon catching herself staring, the little one returned to her usual self, and stepping forwards with barely heard paces, she called out quietly, "It's dangerous here. Go back." A small cough punctuated her words, the only emotion heard in them.

tab Goosebumps crawled up Coello's back. Under normal circumstances, the bunny might have leaped backwards in surprise, but here? Now? His body groaned in protest at even the thought of movement. "Whaas tha..." Coello started, rigidly shuffling to face the voice he had heard. A woman, young and sporting silver locks of hair that framed a beautifulโif dispassionateโface. Suddenly self-conscious, Coello turned his face, as if he could hide the sudden shades of flush that painted his cheeks. "Oh, uhmโhello." Scratching at a burn mark on his upper shoulder, the bunny couldn't help but search for excuses to keep his hands busy. Hoping it would take his mind off of how easily he had been caught off guard. "Oh, no need to worry about me! I'm a Konoha shinobi. But shouldn't the same go for you? What are you doing out here all by yourself?" Gaining false confidence from spinning the tables on the stranger, Coello straightened out his posture to look less likes wounded prey.
The table spun and spun, but it didn't stop at Stella. It continued to spin until it was facing Coello once more. Without skipping a beat, the one eyed teen retorted, "You're injured, I'm not. Injured Konoha shinobi that don't know what they're doing should return to the hospital."
She blinked slowly. Then, as if coming to a decision, she nodded. "Well, whatever," Stella realized that she had no reason to continue, "I tried." It was worth a shot to try, she had figured, but she wasn't really seeing the point of it. Without another word, she continued walking, walking towards Coello and then around him.

tabCoello's nose twitched, wrinkled even, like a bunny suddenly unsure of his surroundings. Whoever this stranger was, she certainly was sharp with her thoughts. Enough to already burn an impression in Coello, who now felt even more embarrassed at his own growing interest in the girl. Stammering out incomprehensible gibbering, bun-ello squirmed under the pressure of trying to come up with some other witty line or hook. Anything that would give him an excuse to place himself nearer to the girl who already seemed to have sated her curiosity with him. "Err... Iโwait!" Coello called after her, hurriedly matching her pace before she had made it too much further down the road. "How do you know I don't know what I'm doing, huh? I could be on some important shinobi business, and maybe you just don't know it."You say while following her around like a puppy. Nice going, Coello."You never answered my question too. What are you doing out here? You don't look like the type to be a rogue..."

โWell, well, well, what do we have here?โ Iksin would have his attention drawn to two men at the gates. Dressed in standard ninja gear was a white haired man, just a bit shorter than Iksin. This Jonin didnโt let his shorter stature frighten him, as he got up into the Sageโs face with a lip curled snarl. โI see how it is!โ Took a step back after appraising Iksin. โYou think us Tani shinobi are so weak, you have to announce yourself before you attack?โ Behind him, the second man, a taller one with a bald head, was snickering at the shorter ninjaโs antics.
Just when it seemed like he could do something normal, it was like trouble followed him everywhere. He was approached by the one of the ninja who seemed to try and antagonize him. Was this how it was meant to be? If that was the case he wasn't sure about coming here at all. But oh well, here he was so he'd see it through. "Not what I said, but if that's how you want to interpret it fine. I just want to enter, look around, maybe speak to your kage." Iksin spoke, sort of just glaring at the guard who had tried to antagonize him. Meanwhile the small golden monsters simply sat and watched.
