Athena pondered to herself with Elysia's words swirling about. She had left the Barrens for Homewood which, she might add was much more reserved with no quarreling for lack of space. Things were commonly lush here with water and nourishment from one's delicate paws. She certainly nodded to the fact this was her "Home" now too. Still, one thing puzzled her in the deliberation of finding a purpose here. There was random questions of blue stones said to grant power which made her curious. What simple power could these "stones" pull from within her? Some of the nouls carried markings which were given to them learning higher magic. There was even a possibility to them gaining even higher magic if they studied enough. Looking downward at her paws she gazed upon lead her to start thinking of how she'd find one of those "crystals".

Realizing her pondering made her look a bit lost she instantly straightened up lowering her paws. Returning her attention to Elysia she nodded, "That's a lovely idea. I haven't truly figured out my purpose just yet here. But, I'm definitely thinking of traveling to the other areas to do some exploring". She paused rubbing her chin, "Oh I've been hearing abort blue crystals that are rumored to help us dire rats? Do you know anything about them?"

Being a fellow doe from the colony, Elysia would definitely know where to find one. If she was to go adventuring a little magic could certainly lend a hand.

Tempest smiled at both does and nodded her head to Mahpiya in acknowledgement of her reply. So the boys are off doing their own thing. Made sense, though with how Twix is, she’s surprised he didn’t find a way to join them. Bipin didn’t have any interest in coming to a crowded festival, she had left him busy with his tree saplings. At least he had Jade to keep him company, although he’d argue he was never alone among the trees. Cordelia was off exploring her new abilities and investigating stuff left by the Others.

“Bipin stayed behind as well,” Tempest finally replied to Mahpiya. “He’s too engrossed in his saplings. Cordy is off doing who knows what,” Tempest chuckled at that.

Her head swung back towards Kachina, “I am! Maybe some day we can dance the winds together. I haven’t been blessed with the ability to create or direct winds. If I do, then we could dance to that as well. I think it would be truly fun.”

Tempest seemed to have calmed down a bit as she didn’t dance in place so much. The engaging conversation between multiple nouls helped her keep busy in a different way. Her mind was burning the energy now. While she liked being sociable, Tempest also liked staying on the move and that wasn’t always easy unless she traveled with others. But now all her kids had grown and had adventures of their own. There wasn’t any new travel parties in need of a herald either, so she mostly just kept up on her fitness.

Misty glanced at the one that had spoken to her just after she had disposed of her wooden skewer. Blinking slightly she shook her head before opening her mouth to speak. "I have been here for a little while. Watched others make a mockery of themselves while sampling a few of the things here. The skewer was quite good." She said before looking to the vendor to ask for another. Really, they were good and how often was there someone selling them?

"I'm Misty, only really here to see the sites. Then it is back to the bog. Or at least the edges of it." While these were some things that not many needed to know, she just wasn't caring today. She was just there for the food and little else.




Wynter listened to Muse and Brownie talk as he glanced around. It did seem that there were many nouls here. It apparently was one of the few times so many got together. Sounded much like home, though Nouls came together to eat and what not. Shaking his head, sun glinted off his horns slightly as he did. Turning back to his company, Wynter frowned slightly as if he had missed something... Perhaps he had, but he was getting a little antsy to move.

"Adventures are always something that many go on. I have traveled far to see what else was out there. Perhaps someday there will be other Nouls to adventure out to where I came from."

Mahpiya giggle at her mother explanation as to why her brother had not come to the festival. "He really is a lot like our father." She thought as she lessoned to her mother. She could totally see it now in her mind. It was nice to know that her mother knew them both so much even though she had been raised by her father mostly.

With a grin still playing on her muzzle she said "Well can not all be social butterflies. Plus those two always take all the fun out of..." She paused to try and think of an expectable word to use. "...socializing." As luck would have it a buck passed by just as she said the word and she smiled with a wick to the buck not even trying to hide her over playfulness with the opposite gender. Turning her attention back to the group she could feel the event coming to an end. It had been loads of fun and she had met a few nouls which was nice.

"Well mother its getting late. I think I'll go find father and Twix now." She turned to the other two nouls in the group and added "It was so nice to meet you both and I hope to see you around." Smiling to each other them she headed back into the Homewoods.

Kachina smiled as she sat and watched mother and daughter talk about there family. "They are so cute." she thought to herself as she lessoned to them. With a sigh she wondered why she had not seen any of her family her. It seemed like the perfect place for their free spiritedness but none of them could be found.

Putting her attention back on Tempest as she talked to her, she back excited with the idea of dancing with this energetic noul. "That would be most fun she will make it a data." She said with a nod and smile. She really loved the idea of dancing with the wind and if Tempest could make the wind it would be such a wonderful challenge and experience for them both.

As Mahpiya walked away Kachina realized that the sun was starting to go down and she still had yet to find a nice den snack for later. Standing up she stretched her well rested muscles. "Well I think I will go find a yummy snack and head to my den as well. Fiontan it was nice to meet you and thank you for sharing your shade. Tempest I look forward to dancing with you later. " With that she headed out in search of something for later and then home to her den.

Njeri's ears perked with intrigue at the flashy buck's 'follow me' gesture. Of course they'd follow! With the music and celebration so loud Njeri couldn't ask where they were going or why, but no matter, they were always up for an adventure, especially with a fellow so handsome as this! Njeri wove through the crowds, clinging close to the antlered noul's hooves until they were led to a quieter corner and the bittersweet scent of tea filled their nostrils like honey glaze.

"My goodness!" Njeri exclaimed, overlooking the barrels of tea. "You and your sister must be ever so proud of all your hard work, this is simply delightful, my dear."

Njeri teetered to the first barrel and inhaled, eyes fluttering shut at the rich aroma of flowers and herbs that wafted enticingly. Completely unable to help themself, Njeri took their time sampling the different flavors on offer, rolling the warmth and freshness of the ingredients across their tongue. Each new tea was more divine than the last. Perhaps Njeri was being over-exuberant, but the joyous atmosphere and the lovely company made it impossible for their spirits to be anything but high.

"These are divine," Njeri cooed, swirling to face the buck. They cocked their head, coy, lids lowered in a flirtatious moue. They didn't miss that interested look across the buck's face, and Njeri was not one to dissuade admirers! "I absolutely must visit your teahouse at the first opportunity. Thank-you ever so much for sharing your samples with me, Xo."

This was turning out to be one of the loveliest flower festivals Njeri had ever attended. Filled with tea and good cheer, Njeri wandered back into the crowd of dancers, hoping with hammering heart that Xo would follow them. They flung themself into the beat of the music once more, swirling with grace and a flash of petals as the flowers woven into their hair and into anklets on their feet began to fray from all the movement. Xo's tea had warmed their belly and re-energized them, and they spent much of the night dancing and laughing through the crowd of noulicorns, lost in the levity of the moment.

They hoped they would see more of Xo after the festival. Njeri would absolutely have to track down the teahouse in the ruins for more of that excellent tea... and the gorgeous figure that accompanied it.
