He sighed as an image of his elder sibling laughing and smiling filled his thoughts. She had always been a light in the dark, and he needed that more than ever. Axel's mice scurried down from his back and placed one rose petal upon the offering stone. They looked up to him quizzically, as if asking if that would be enough. The stallion nodded and smiled softly in answer.

Flopping on her rump, her shoulders slumped some before turning her emerald eyes up at the sky and the bright twinkling star overhead, "I..I don't know if you're real. If this ain't some dumb or cruel joke the brats playing on me but if it's real..My name is Nene and." Here her voice trailed off again as her ears laid back for a moment before she continued her voice rough with emotions, "I'm old and I'm alone. Always thought I would find someone to spend my life with, but I haven't. My family is gone now, all grown up and moved on. I'm tired of being left behind, of being forgotten. Blight leaves a lock of braided hair from her mane tied with band that held a feather from her mates wings. Short IC Response: Blight looked up at the star, an old friend to her at this point and smiled, her ruined wings moving slightly in the breeze. She turned her eyes down to the altar where offerings from many a different Soquili sat. Some elegant, some bloody, but all unique in their own ways. She reached into the small pack that was slung at her side and pulled out the twisted hair with its feather decor and placed it upon the altar. Her head pulled up and she smiled at the great legend of her world, "My greetings once again Great Star. Its been a long time since I've come to visit you. You have my apologizes for that, however I couldn't help myself since meetings Maya. I've never been happier, but deep down I know that I don't deserve it..." She stopped and pursed her lips remembering how easily she had been separated from the last gift that the star had given her. It was all her fault... She felt the tears, hot and bitter, spilling down her face. "I never found her... No matter how I looked and I felt so ashamed that I squandered your gift... I'm so sorry..." Her head fell in shame, she shouldn't be here, shouldn't be asking for more when she took so poor of care of the last one... She felt her mates nose brush against her cheek, but he stayed silent only being present in her time of need. "I know that I've been an awful mother in the past and that I shouldn't be allowed to try again... But Maya and I really want to be parents again. Our only son is grown and has a mate of his own now. Its been hard seeing him grow so fast so selfish as it is we came to ask for children from you. They will be raised with love and care and given the utmost protection from any that would harm them." Maya smiled at his darling Blight and nipped her shoulder telling her it was enough and if the star heard it heard, if not they'd keep trying the more natural way. It would happen someday... She turned to follow him but not before whispering, "Thank you for listening to me." And she walked away with a heart that maybe wasn't as heavy as before.

"Please, I shouldn't have to tell the star about me, the star should already know. I'm Solem, and I'm a princess; the world bows down to me." Merlin leaves some scented herbs tied with hair from his mane, Morri leaves some pretty flowers tied with hair from his tail Short IC Response: Merlin and Morri always agreed to meet whenever there was a wishing star, to search for their siblings, today was no exception, they stepped out together, eager muzzles turned towards the star as they leave their offerings. "Star, please send our brothers....." Merlin was then cut off by his brother "Or sisters" said Morri, his brother chuckled. "Brothers or sisters, they were many, i was alone in the world until i found Morri again, the fires destroyed everything we knew, our family was scattered" Merlin choked up, unable to continue so Morri took up the plea "We didn't know anyone but ourselves was even still alive, our parents just told us to run, finding Merlin gave both of us hope that we may yet find lost family" he closed his eyes, pain creasing his features for a moment until both stallions looked back up, each taking comfort in the warm flank of the other as they stood side by side. A red rose Short IC Response: Galadel was a practical mare by nature, but a small side of her really wanted to see her mother again. They had parted ways when she was young. Too young to even remember what she looked like other then her wings and gentle comforting words. She missed her. A part of her had always missed her and there was nothing she did that got rid of that feeling. She had Kerberos, her beloved mate, Briar Rose, her son and whole world, and her sister Mei-Ying. But she could remember something so vividly in her mind before she was separated from her mother. It had always stuck with her since that day and she never mentioned it to anyone. As she stepped out of her little forest grove, she looked up at the sky seeing the stars twinkle above her, or at least that is what they did to her. "I still remember...what to last said to me mom..You told me that I would be a great mare even without you guiding me..." She said taking a deep breath as she lowered her head. "Why did you tell me that and leave? I was all alone...I...never truly known if I grew up to be the mare you expected me to be.." She stopped sniffling a little before letting out a soft sigh. "I want to see you again..I wish you were here to guide Mei-Ying..and to reconnect with me. I really have tried being her strong older sister, but I don't know if I did a good job..I also want you to meet your grandchild...he is everything..and I know you will love my mate. He is my whole world..I wouldn't be able to be here without him..or maybe I would..I don't know I lack confidence..." She said feeling herself ramble a bit. "I want you here...one day..I want to see you again mom." She placed a rose down on the ground hoping that one day this would come true.

Kalypso leaves a satchel of some of the jewels and minerals she has collected over many years while traveling in search for her older brother, before she had recently settled down. Short IC Response: long ago she traveled the region with her older brother ever since they where young ,being that she was always quite, not a peep was heard from her though she did express her joy for things she would see while traveling, however a few years ago she got separated from her brother and has been looking for him ever since, but to no avail now she comes to the wishing star in hopes that she would be reunited with her one and only relative left in the world "oh grate wishing star I come with gifts from my travels with a rather big request, I wish to be reunited with my older brother, without him apart of me is still missing, I would rather have him than any rare stone in this world." she said laying beneath the star in front of her offering hoping for her brothers return.

Short IC Response: Akule took a moment to separate himself from Noch and Goy, who were fast asleep. Night time was the only time where Noch was freely able to open himself a little bit to himself and Goy. The strange, bright star had stirred him awake and curious, he ventured out to go look at it. With him, he brought an offering for the star to make a wish. He had heard on travels of a fabled star that could make wishes come true. Of course, he was grateful to find love and companionship in Goy and Noch, but it didn't hurt to want something a little more? He smiled at the thought of a little one that would keep them company. A sleeping companion for sleepy Goy? Maybe a curious companion for Nochtli that will chip away the the spikes to Noch's heart? Or a playful companion for him when no one else wants to play?
