Again?! Rhiyn wasn’t stupid. He knew greens rose several times a turn. They’d get proddy and their rider would get cranky, things happened. And then the flight happened. He couldn’t imagine how scary it was to be unable to control your own emotions. “Right,” he said. “Just give me a heads up next time.”

"Sorry about that, Rhiyn, I didn't know she was going to go up when she did. I figured she would wait a little longer, but I suppose I should have known better,"she apologized to him.

"Yeah, there are usually signs when she is ready to take to the skies. I will be getting a little..well, testy I suppose is one way to put it. So I suppose you are right, we will be ready when it happens again,"she nodded.

Rhiyn wasn't looking forward to a testy Dea. He smiled at her, though, and shook his head. "I'll be sure to look for warning signs," he promised. He leaned over to kiss her cheek. "Don't worry. It'll be fine."

“Hey, just because T’rel had to grab me doesn’t mean I wouldn’t have come if he hadn’t,” Rhiyn protested. “If I’d known I would’ve been there before it happened!” He pouted, and then smiled when she kissed his cheek.

"I'll watch for moodiness, then," he teased. He kissed her cheek. "I should know you well enough to notice when something's off, right?" He'd known her since he'd been small. He thought he'd be able to notice if she started acting out of character.

“I don’t know, any secret,” Rhiyn said. “Not your deepest and darkest secret, because I won’t tell you mine. Not yet.” He wasn’t sure he had a deep dark secret anyway. What was there about him that Dea didn’t know already?

“Almost everything,” he said. “I didn’t know how you felt about me.” There had to be other things he’d missed. He loved her, but he hadn’t noticed that she’d felt the same way.
“I can tell you about how I got Ionan into trouble when we were little. But you know, top secret. I denied involvement.”

Rhiyn blinked. He hadn’t considered whether Dea would know about his involvement. “Your siblings spied on me?” He asked, with a frown. “I kept it secret, no one should know.”
