The bat man looked at the red head as she was charged with nature chakra. Naturally that made her his enemy. He moved to attack, but felt the ground churn below him. A wall of mud emerged behind him, and two slabs of work at either side. It appeared as though this new person was trying to subdue him so that the girl could move in. How interesting. It was a shame that he was a monster. As the two walls of earth collided with him, he extended both arms. His hands went through the rocks as he sunk his claws into them as though they were cotton candy. He then lifted his arms as the rocks lifted from the ground. One rock was thrown at the girl in the air as the second one was thrown at the red head girl. Of course, the man was too prideful. He did not destroy the wall behind him because he felt that it was impossible for the girl to do anything. What truly did she have plan making such a haphazard move?

In the moments after her arrival, a group of supporters had massed themselves around Rinka, many of them offering plans of attack and devious ploys to create openings. They could employ whatever strategies they wished; Rinka had her own idea. As the stone thrown towards her closed in on its target, Rinka would make a quick hand seal and vanish into a puff of smoke. In an instant, she would appear above the bat monster, eyes wide and grinning with an eagerness to prove her worth to the kage.
Rinka would level her puppet arm at massive bat creature and create a quick hand seal with her free hand. Smoke plumed from the socket that connected her false arm to her body as a blast erupted from the base, propelling the arm straight towards the Bat Monster. With a quick snap of her fingers, a string of chakra would extend from her free hand and connect to the arm that was now rocketing towards her foe. "GO!" the oni would shout through her jitters. All she needed to do was make contact with the bat, and what better way to close that gap that with an entendo-arm?

tabΒ Of course thebat lord wouldn't be going down easily but watching the monster punch through her stone like paper made her feel like she'd have an easier time fighting the kage. Even so the first bits of emotion started to shine through on her face, a smile. Getting to mash it out with another always did have a way of clearing her mind. Using one of her clones Ferrah quickly substituted herself with one as the chunk of earth caught into her web and slammed into the now clone in the air. Kawarimi no Jutsu [ Substitution Technique ] Then with her flivht still active Ferrah formed a few handseals while on the ground to cause clouds to rapidly form in the sky as if she were preforming some kind of fuuton jutsu. Zettai Tenkou Kansei no Jutsu [ Absolute Weather Control Technique ] Taking flight once more off the ground Ferrah started preforming a few more hand seals in the air. If she couldn't trap him then she was going to have to be more clever than. At least if this one failed I can still use it to get closer to him With that Ferrah disappeared into the clouds. Or rather made it look like she did, instead using part of a phantasm genjutsu to turn invisible. A giant hand white that appeared to be made at least partially of the cloud itself descended from the sky. Surging down to collapse it's fingers around the bat lord and hold him in place for the demon girl to end this. Kakou Kouten no Jutsu [ Descending Heaven Technique ]
Wide eyes looked down at the demon girl. He felt his entire body become tense. All of the sudden, his skin became hard. The hardness mutated into stone, and the sky became bright with sunlight. The blood moon slowly dissolved into nothing, and then the day was saved. All of those still tainted by the corrupted chakra were cured.

In a moment, the battle had ended. He had not given into the primal hunger he felt...but was unable to act freely to assault his opponent. The shortcoming plagued him as his gates were closed just before he moved away in a blur.

tab Zipping past the broken buildings Lahlil's orb body colladed with another white orb that seemed ro be another,copy of it. A flashbang of light flared through the area and the two white orbs mixed with each other until the shape of a woman gradually formed out of them. A young Lahlil was seemingly created out of thin air, her body sitting upright and wide eyed like she had seen a ghost. Did I just... Did I just teleport from across the village? Looking around her double check her surroundings Lahlil slowly picked herself up and walked away from the destruction. Her fingers mindlessly playing with the edges of her shirt.
As Niko and Hisashi made their way to the steakhouse, they were quickly approached by a man. "Are you a shinobi? Can I possibly hire you?" Niko looked down at Hisashi and he up to her. They both smiled as they listened to the man's request. Apparently some thugs were going around causing issues and needed to be taken care of. If Niko could run security for them, she would get paid handsomely. No objections there.
Niko would start to patrol the district. She walked down the street and saw the destruction that the thugs were causing. It was pretty bad. Niko was starting to get upset herself. This made no sense to her. "Who would do something like this?" As the thought ran through her mind, she began to grip her hand tighter. She knew what she would do when she saw the men.
She would soon get her wish. Niko and Hisashi came upon a small group of three thugs. They were trying to break into a shop. "Hey! Leave before you get hurt!" The men turned to her and cracked their knuckles. "Oh?! And who's gonna make us?!" Niko looked down, her face shrouded in darkness, and waited for the men to make their move. Then, one of the men rushed her. He throw a punch, but Niko quickly parried it and hit him with a spin kick to the head quickly knocking him out. The man was out cold. The other two man thought about it for a second and then ran off.
Niko continued on to find the ringleader of the thugs. She was on a mission and wanted to protect the streets since there was a lot going on. Niko Knew that she was going to be the one to settle this situation. She would just have to take on everyone till she got there. She then came upon some more thugs. They were terrorizing a young couple.
"Come on girl! Come with us! You'll have a great time! This loser can't do anything for you anyway!" One of the men punch the guy in the face as the girl screamed for them to stop. Niko quickly fell upon the man with a strong punch to the face. The two other men weren't as cowardly and attack when Niko came back with a two quick punches that stopped both men in their tracks. They got up and ran away.
Niko walked over to the couple. "Are you alright?" The woman nodded as she looked over her man. "We are thanks to you." Niko bowed for the compliment and moved on. She was doing good work and would earn her money well.
She kept up, running into another group this time there was six men. "You can't stop us all!" Niko, not intimidated in the slightest, quickly ran her current of lighting and took out all the men in the blink of an eye. "So... fast..." The men soon hit the ground. They didn't even have the choice to run. They were looting a store that had it's windows smashed. Niko was making progress, but things were looking worse.
Niko would continue, getting close to the end. She stopped to help an old man who was struggling to get up. She grabbed his cane and sat him down for a moment. Hisashi brought over his bag and placed it next to him. There was tears in his eyes as he would start.
"They came and tore everything up. They wrecked the place. It was so horrible. This hasn't happened in a long time, since I was a kid in fact. You've got to stop them. I'd hate to ask a young girl like you, but you are a shinobi. Won't you please?" Niko nodded her head. She then went on in her pursuit. She would find the men who did this and make them pay.
Niko continued on and the damage was getting worse. The buildings now were showing signs of graffiti too. The disrespect shown tonight was enough to make Niko sick to her stomach. Still, she kept her cool. She knew she had a dragon bolt waiting for someone. She tried to be patient but they were testing her gangsta and she wasn't having it. Niko would soon happen on a couple more thugs. They had weapons this time. "Good." Niko said as she dropped the whipblade.
"Alright we give up! We give up!" One of the men began to cry out. The other just dropped his weapon and ran. Niko was getting closer to her target. The boss had to be around here somewhere. She could feel it. Hisashi, had done almost nothing but watch Niko go on a "I'm a super bad a** yo" run and didn't seem to need much of his help. He was okay with that. Hisashi might have killed someone that night. There's no excuse for that kind of behavior.
Niko ran into one more set of thugs. This time they were picking on some kids. That was the last straw for Niko. She quickly lightning stepped in and dropped all the men there with quick elbows to the gut. The men hunched over in pain, but Niko wasn't done. She gave the men roundhouse kicks, as well as side kicks with the bruising sky leg. Those men were going to the hospital for sure.
She then checked on the children. "Did those men hurt you?" The kids shook their heads. "N-no... But we're scared..." Niko smiled as she bent down and rubbed their heads. "You don't have to be scared anymore. Now go back that way and try to find your parents. It should be safe now." The kids nodded and were off.
Niko continued on her war path. These thugs had gone too far. Vandalism, looting, assault, causing civil unrest, these men were racking up charges left and right. Niko was the one to dole out the punishment though. And the punishment in her eyes, fits the crime perfectly. She would make sure the leader of the thugs got his. That was for sure.
Niko came up on the last set of thugs. The man that they were treating like the leader was rather small. "You're the one behind this?" The man laughed. "I paid these men here to cause as much damage as possible since I was so disrespected here. I have a problem with disrespect you see. I will not tolerate it. This is just the consequences of others actions towards me. Now, someone please take care of this little girl. She's really starting to piss me off." The men rushed Niko. In a flash however, they were all beaten and fell before the man, who was now in shock.
"N-n-n-n-no w-w-way... You took out ten guys like it was nothing... what are you?" Niko raised her left hand and charged it with lightning. "Someone with a problem with disrespect." Then the dragon blot flew from her hand into the man. He was shocked immensely as he fell to his knees and then onto his face. Niko had finally dealt with all the thugs. It was time to celebrate.
She went back to find the man that requested her help. "Oh you wonderful shinobi you! Here! Here is your payment! We can't thank you enough! Those men were really causing a lot of trouble and you took them down. For that I'd like to pay for your meals as well. You two a welcome to free steak whenever!" Hisashi's eyes lit up. Even though he didn't do anything, he was still apart of the reward. He barked in joy. "Hell yeah baby!"
Niko bowed and they soon sat down to eat. It was really good food, and Niko felt like they earned it. She did stop quite a few of those guys. She also managed to keep this area safe as well. She had been doing a lot of things lately. It was like she completely forgot about Itsuki. As he came across her mind she began thinking out loud. Hisashi started to laugh as Niko became confused.
"I wonder how Itsuki's doing. I kind of miss him..."

Niko and Ryota sat at the steakhouse and ate as they recounted the happenings with Don Juan. They had no idea who the Don was or where he was operating from. All they had was a man claiming to be him and property damage to all of HIS buildings. This was a nice scheme to get money, but for what? That was the question.
"We don't know what he's planning or where he's at. He's been behind all of these riots but with that stand in, he can just say someone was trying to discredit his name. Is there anyway we can get an address?" Ryota shook his head. "Not in the slightest. I doubt he would be there anyways. I don't think we should worry about his location so much as his next target. I've looked into all the buildings he owns, and there's only a few left. I believe if this is really about money, some of those may be targeted next." Niko thought for a moment. They could possibly steak out, but that could take too long and Ryota was a busy man. They would just have to beef up security and hope they were around if they were attacked.
"Well there's not much we can do now. So tell me, how's the training coming along? Fine I assume?" Niko nodded. "I would be able to show you if Itsuki were around to spar. What was his mission anyway?" Ryota smiled as he thought. Then, his look became saddened again for a split second. "It's top secret. But I can tell you he was handpicked by the Kage herself." That made Niko feel better. Maybe he wasn't the fool she thought him to be. Niko and Ryota would continuing talking as they ate. Hisashi was just mind his business as he chowed down on some steak himself. "STEAK BABY!"
"Here Red. After seeing how strong you've gotten, I found these scrolls to help you finish your training. The sharingan is a tough tool to use as well as all your other styles. These scrolls will be enough to help you finish some of them out. I can't tell you how proud of you I am Red. I know Itsuki would be proud too." Niko accepted the scrolls and bowed. "Thank you sensei.""You train up for now. I'll be in contact with you if anything happens. Don't worry, we'll catch this guy." With that, Ryota patted Niko on the shoulder and was off. Niko and Hisashi would go home afterwards. Niko had a lot of training to do if she wanted to catch Don Juan. That was the new goal of hers, for right now at least.
γMission: Kitchen Preparation (D)γ In the kitchen of his parents' noodle shop, Yoshiro was hard at work preparing the space for the day's work. While the housing portion of the shop was still being repaired, the restaurant and kitchen section had been made functional once more. This meant that his family could resume their usual operations, including the prep work that Yoshiro was responsible for. It had been nice to have a bit of a break during the reconstruction, but even so, Yoshiro was thankful to be back in the kitchen. That was the part that truly felt like home.
To begin his task, Yoshiro made sure that the kitchen was spotless. This involved going over the counters and grill with a rag and making sure that he removed any traces of stains or other blemishes. He then made sure to sweep and wipe down the floor. When all was said and done, he could have sworn the place was sparkling in the light.
Once he was done with cleaning the main surfaces of the kitchen, Yoshiro moved on to some of the finer details of the work space. First, he went to the sink and began washing the dishes. Plates, bowls, knives, etc. they all had to be thoroughly cleaned. Yoshiro even made sure to sharpen all the knives before putting them away. He then sorted the rest of the dishes and put them away as well. With everything cleaned and in their proper places, Yoshiro took a moment to admire his handy work. γMission: Kitchen Preparation (D)γβ
γMission: Food Preparation (D)γ However, Yoshiro's could only spare a moment of admiration, as his work was only half done. With the kitchen now clean, he still needed to prepare various ingredients for the day. Laying down a cutting board and grabbing a well-sharpened knife, he gathered various vegetables and meats and laid them out. He then began the process of chopping and dicing them all up one by one.
Beginning with the meats, Yoshiro made sure to cut them into the proper portions for the dishes they were associated with. He was just thankful that his father had already taken care of skinning the meat. Not that Yoshiro necessarily minded doing such work, it was just a tedious task and one less thing for him to worry about in his morning routine. Once all of the meats were taken care of, it was time for Yoshiro to move on to the vegetables.
By comparison, Yoshiro found cutting vegetables to be a far easier task than cutting up the meats. This was mainly due to the fact that it required far less thought on his part. For the most part, each vegetable had to be cut one way, typically diced. This meant that he could allow his muscles memory to take over and just lose himself in his work. The only vegetable that gave him any sort of trouble was the onion and that was because his eyes always watered while cutting them.
When Yoshiro did finally reach his dreaded foe, he took a moment to prepare himself for the battle to come. Setting his knife to the side, he grabbed two scraps of paper from a drawer and rolled them up. He then stuck one into each of his nostrils, blocking his nasal passage. "Ha! I've got you this time!" he proclaimed. He then picked up his knife and began the task of dicing up the onions that lie before him. Unfortunately though, while the scraps of paper did help a bit, they ultimately proved useless against the onions, their aroma overpowering the blockade and causing his eyes to water as usual. Still, he managed to work through it and finish his task. After he finished cutting the last onion, he put them away along with the other foods that he had cut, completing his preparation work. γMission: Food Preparation (D)γβ
Having finished cutting up all the various foods and washing the small number of dishes he had used in the process, Yoshiro let out a soft sigh. "That should do it." he said, wiping a bit of sweat from his brow. With his morning duties complete, he was finally free to move on to the training he had planned. Thus, he locked up the restaurant and set a course for the dojo. [ Exit to School of Earth]

Koutetsu had taken a leave after the incident, in order to focus on additional training and studies. Coming back to the site of destruction and watching the repairs being done, it filled the genin with hope. While he may not have been a significant help, he hadn't hesitated in his first engagement and followed orders. There was an open mission contract, for any Uzu-nin that wanted to pay their respects. A few murals had already been done in support of those who had died in the attack,
Koutetsu sighed, as he headed to the designated spot to place his work. He had spent a great deal of time considering what design he was going to make. An image ingrained in his mind of a shinobi who stood tall in the face of overwhelming power to protect the youth of the village, whose strength only gave out when they were at a safe distance. Koutetsu formed a handseal and closed his eyes. Mentally heating, hammering, and shaping away a statue, as Black Steel poured from Koutetsu's skin and began conforming to his mental image. By the time he was finished, there stood a 7 foot tall steel statue of a shinobi standing defiant, armor and clothing damaged, their body covered in wounds.
Koutetsu wiped his brow, before doing a few touch ups. Bending down to look at the stand, he molded lettering into the base. If one were to read it: An Image of Kairi Sisigou during the restaurant district battle, a symbol of Uzushiogakure's enduring spirit. Satisfied with his work, Koutetsu left to return to training.

Ren is walking around, while staring at the restaurant signs. Her mouth getting watery from the smell of food, but Ren realize something, she probably doesn't have enough money to buy herself a meal. She notice sweaty guy bypassing her, and chuckle to herself with this comment, " he kinda of smeaty". It's temp to combine words smell and sweaty together. After chuckling at her lame joke, went to the count money in her coin purse.

Arriving at his family's noodle shop, Yoshiro made his way around to the back of the structure to make use of the kitchen entrance. "Mom! Dad! I'm ho-" Suddenly, he found himself in his mother's grasp as she forcefully pulled him into a hug. "Oh Yoshi! I was so worried! We saw the kage's tower fall and I just couldn't bear the thought of my baby boy getting caught up in all that destruction!" she cried, her arms tightening around him. Honestly, Yoshi was surprised his spine didn't break from all the pressure. "I'm fine, mom. I wasn't even at the tower when it went down." he reassured his mother as he wormed his way out of her arms.
"Come on, Yumi. Let the boy breathe."
With these words, his father entered the room and stood next to his mother. "Besides. The boy's a full-fledged shinobi now and more importantly, he's a fighter, just like his old man. Right, son?" his father continued, offering an extended towards Yoshiro. "Yeah. Yeah. Just don't blink or I'll pass you by, old man." Yoshiro replied, bumping his fist against his father's. "Awwww. Look at my two strong men." his mother cooed, lightly pinching both of their cheeks. While his father beamed proudly from his mother's praise, Yoshiro groaned and lightly swatted his mother's hand away. "Alright, well I've got a friend coming here for lunch so I'm gonna go make sure I've got everything I need." he said, making his way past his parents to begin his prep work.
γMission: Kitchen Preparation (D)γ Finding a bit of empty counter space on the far side of the kitchen, Yoshiro began making a mental list of everything he would need for his undertaking. Unfortunately, he had neglected to ask Emiko what she wanted for lunch so he didn't actually know everything he would need. 'Guess I'll just have to make a bit of everything.' It was going to take quite a bit of work but he was certain he was up for the task.
First things first, Yoshiro needed to make sure he had the proper tools for the job. It would have been easy for him to easy for him to simply grab the things he needed, but looking around the kitchen, he noticed a pile of dirty dishes that were beginning to pile up in the sink. With how busy things had been at the hospital, he figured that Emiko would have her hands full for quite some time so he had the extra time to lend his parents a hand. Thus, he made his way over to the sink and got to work.
γMission: Food Preparation (D)γ Once Yoshiro finished drying the last of the dishes, Yoshiro set aside a few knives and cutting boards that he would need for his prep work. The rest, he put back in their proper place for future use, whether he or his parents needed them. He then gathered up the various ingredients he would be working with.
Beginning with the simplest of items, Yoshiro rounded up several vegetables and set them next to one of the cutting boards. He then began skillfully slicing and dicing his way through the pile. When done, he separated them into individual containers and put them away.
With the vegetables out of the way, Yoshiro switched out the knife and cutting board he was using and set himself to preparing the meats. These were a bit tougher to cut than the vegetables but even so, he was able to make quick work of them. Then, as he had done before, he put them away in individual containers.
Finally, Yoshiro moved onto the most important part of any of his family's dishes, the noodles. Fortunately, the dough needed to make the noodles had already been prepared earlier that day, saving Yoshiro at least thirty minutes of work. With that out of the way, all that was left for him to do was roll the dough out and cut it into the strips that would later be boiled. This was an simple enough task Yoshiro was able to breeze through the process, having plenty of experience. γMission: Food Preparation (D)γβ
With all his prep work done, Yoshiro made his way back to the sink to clean the various dishes he had used. It wasn't entirely necessary but still, he made it a habit to wash dishes as he used them, rather than letting them pile up. It made things easier on his parents and it always preferable to work in a clean environment. Thankfully, he had only used a few cutting boards and knives so there wasn't too much to clean and put away. γMission: Kitchen Preparation (D)γβ
Once all was said and done, Yoshiro took in a deep breath and slowly exhaled it. "That oughta do it." he told himself reassuringly. Now all that was left to do was wait for Emiko to arrive. Rather simply sitting on his hands though, he wanted to do something meaningful with his time. There were a few doton techniques he had been reading up on and this seemed like as good as a time as any to practice them. Of course, the kitchen was no place to work on them so he quickly made his way outside.
γMission: Learn a Jutsu (D)γ γLearning: Doton Bunshin no Jutsu [ Earth Clone Skill ] (E)γ Starting with perhaps the most basic of techniques, Yoshiro first took on the task of creating an earth clone. From his understanding, this style of clone was more durable than the average clone but at the cost of its speed. Since he already knew how to make a shadow clone, he figured the process couldn't be too much different. Focusing his chakra and forming the necessary hand seal, he watch as a replica of himself formed from the ground. Seeing just how slow the clone was though, he had some serious reservations on if it would ever actually be useful, given the fast paced nature of his fighting style. Then again, it couldn't hurt to have in his arsenal. γLearning: Doton Bunshin no Jutsu [ Earth Clone Skill ] (E)γβ γMission: Learn a Jutsu (D)γβ
γMission: Learn a Jutsu (D)γ γLearning: Ishi Yoroi no Ude [ Stone Bracers ] (E)γ Moving on to another technique, Yoshiro set his sights on one that he actually felt would prove to be useful in combat, stone bracers. While he had absolutely no intention of ever wearing armor because it would weigh him down and to spike Kairi, he had no admit that having some added defense would probably be nice at times. That's why this technique was so appealing to him. Sure, the stone bracers were less effective that traditional metal ones but they were temporary, so he could apply them and drop them as needed with relative ease. Performing a sequence of hand seals, Yoshiro then plunged his arms into the ground and watched as stone covered his forearms. "Wicked." he whispered to himself, beaming. He rose back to his feet and threw a few quick jabs to get a feel for the added weight of the bracers. γLearning: Ishi Yoroi no Ude [ Stone Bracers ] (E)γβ γMission: Learn a Jutsu (D)γβ
γMission: Learn a Jutsu (D)γ γLearning: Iwa Tounyuu no Jutsu [ Rock Throw Technique ] (E)γ Once he was satisfied with the results of his new bracers, Yoshiro moved onto the final technique he had planned to learn, the rock throwing technique. While this jutsu wasn't powerful by any means, he figured he needed at least one ranged technique in his arsenal. On the positive side, the technique didn't require any hand seals, so there was that. All that was required was a source of earth and a small amount of chakra. "Seems ease enough." he said with a shrug. Focusing his chakra and envisioning himself throwing a small rock, Yoshiro made a pitching motion and sure enough, a small rock wizzed through the air. While he was impressed that the technique had worked, he was a bit disappointed that the rock had not followed the trajectory he had intended. "Guess I need to work on my aim." γLearning: Iwa Tounyuu no Jutsu [ Rock Throw Technique ] (E)γβ γMission: Learn a Jutsu (D)γβ
γMission: Target Practice (D)γ Setting his sights on a nearby post, Yoshiro once more used the rock throwing technique to hurl a rock towards the target. However, like before, the rock was off by a considerable margin. "Dang it." Perplexed by what he was doing wrong, he decided to inspect the rock he had thrown.
After retrieving said rock, Yoshiro began looking over it, tossing it up and down and from hand to hand. It was lighter than he was expecting, maybe two or three pounds. That was probably why he was missing his mark. It was definitely hard to be accurate with a projectile that he didn't know the weight for.
With this newfound information, Yoshiro returned to his original position and took aim at the post. Again, his shot was considerably off, but it was noticeably more on target, even if just a little. Fueled by this minuscule accomplishment, Yoshiro could feel a fire ignite within. He was definitely going to get this. Thus, Yoshiro began hurling rock after rock, each showing the slightest of improvement. Little by little, he knew he'd get there and would continue to practice until Emiko arrived. γMission: Target Practice (D)γβ
Emiko had been busy training to her heart's content after her and Yoshiro had had their little moment at the hospital a while ago. The young genin made sure to stop by the orphanage prior to shower and get herself looking not like hot garbage in front of her fellow team mate. A nice hot shower after a rough work out did wonders for her body. After making a few flexing motions in front of the mirror and doing her best to let her thoughts wander away from her own self, Emi soon was out the door and walking towards the restaurant district from before. She had been here many times before thought never on her way to meet with a friend! It felt pretty cool. It also beat sitting around and sulking all day as well.
Her feet guided her to the crowded halls of the district, cursing as she for got to ask Yoshiro about where his parent's shop was in the first place. Thus, the child bounded to shopkeep after shopkeep in search of an answer. "Hey! Can I ask you a question? I'm looking for..." She didn't even know Yoshi's family name! This was why she was always so bad at names. "I don't know. A boy my age named Yoshiro. Know where he lives?" Her answers were colorful, to say the very least., If they didn't outright ignore her in favor of a paying customer, they responded with things like "Beat it, kid." "Who? No clue who you're talking about?" "STEAMY PORK BUN ROUND AND READY!" "You're in the line kid. Pay and get food or get outta the line." After a few asks, Emiko sat with a pout and would glance up at a nice old woman sitting beside her in a stall, selling...memcakes, of all things. "Hey! Ma'am. I'm-" She was interrupted by a boney finger pointing towards a rather nice looking shop. "Little Yoshiro stays over there, child." Emi smiled widely and gave a knowing nod, mouthing a silent "thank you" to her as she hurried over.
Whether it be by a knock or entering the store, the red haired kunoichi stood at the doorway and looked around for her friend. "Yoshi! I'm here!" She called out. Her right hand moved some of her long, flowing locks behind her ear while the scent of noodles and other food had made her starving.

Upon entering the restaurant, Emiko would be met by a relatively empty environment, a few customers placed sparsely at various tables. While there were just enough people to occupy each of the tables, the bar was completely uninhabited, except for a woman with short navy hair, Yoshiro's mother, standing behind the counter by the register. When the young girl first entered, Yumi would have instinctively started to welcome, but upon hearing the girl shout her son's name, she'd pause. 'Oh? So Yoshi's friend........is a girl?' she thought. It took every ounce of self-control the woman possessed to keep the impish grin that was trying to creep its way onto her face. "Hello! Welcome to Takashi's Noodle House. You must be Yoshi's friend she called to the girl, putting just the slightest inflection on the last word.
Beckoning the girl to come to her, Yumi would wait until she had reached the counter before continuing. "Hiiii! I'm Yoshi's mother, Yumi. He's out back training right now, but I'll have his father call him back in. One moment." She then looked back over her shoulder towards a opening in the wall that lead to the kitchen and called out,"Taka, dear! Can you call Yoshi in? His little friend just got here." Looking back to Emiko, Yumi would offer the girl a warm smile, though beneath her composure, a million questions were swirling about in her mind. Yoshiro certainly had some explaining to do.

Meanwhile, while his mother prepared her interrogation, Yoshiro continued to toil away, practicing his aim with the rock throwing technique. At this point, he had become quite accurate, having roughly a seventy percent hit rate. It was far from perfect, it was definitely a major improvement.
"Yo son! Your mom says your friend just got here!"
Hearing his father call out to him, Yoshiro put an end to his training, wiping the sweat from his brow. It would seem that Emiko had finally arrived. While he was happy to hear she was there, a horrifying thought dawned on him as he made his way inside. His mother would be the first one to great Emi if she came in through the front entrance and he had definitely not mentioned earlier that the friend that was coming over was a girl. That was absolutely a recipe for disaster. 'Oh crap!' Quickly dusting himself off and washing his hands, he rushed out of the kitchen and towards the seating area. Maybe if he was lucky, his mother wouldn't jump to any conclusions. However, as soon as he saw the look on his mother's face, he knew that all hope was lost. Just like his father, Yoshiro knew well the schemes that lurked beneath her smile. He was a goner.
"Oh! There you are, Yoshi. I was just introducing myself to your friend. You didn't tell me she was such a beautiful young lady." his mother said to him, motioning him to come join them before looking back toward Emiko, still smiling warmly at the girl.
Yep. Total goner.
Letting out a soft sigh under his breath, Yoshiro trudged his way over to where his mother and Emiko were. "H-hey Emiko.....How was your training?" he would force out, doing his best to remain calm though there was a hint of shakiness to his voice. Who knew what sort of intrusive and embarrassing questions his mother had in store for them. At this point, his only hope was to get Emiko fed and then make up some excuse for the two of them to leave as soon as possible. "So uhhhh what would you like to eat?" he asked, hoping that she already had something in mind.
