misaki showed up to the kage's office looking for the kage of course he wanted to get his ninja head band for ranking up he was now a step further in his training he wanted to be acknowledged for it so he went to the office in a hurry to get his stuff as he knocked on the door of the kages office he waited there to enter in.

She inhaled sharply to catch a laugh before it could flourish. Chie's response directly to Sadayo was simply one a sand shinobi should find insulting. The very thought to being accused of for going soft for a rogue after an upbringing in the Hidden Sand was not one to be taken too lightly, for a jounin. The sand was a place where runaways were swiftly branded for capture with seemingly little remorse of the runaways's very title. "If she were a troublemaking rogue, Kyomei would have been treated rightfully so in the Hidden Sand many years ago. That is unless you're going to try to convince me that my leader was a naive mother hen who took in lawless strays." Sadayo was beginning to bid her last threads a fond farewell for the teacher and her expression was a little ways from neutral and subtle glower. She repeated a similar phrase that was present in her previous plea but her tone was ridged. "Consider this," Sadayo said before a moments pause to breathe. She decided to show she took a bit of a lesson from the spirit of Aramara. "Even a monk with the most pure of heart can learn the most rigourous ways of combat and learn the same knowledge as you and I would. Exhibit A." The tilt of her head bounced a pony-tail in Kyomei's direction.
The leader's expressions and final response seemed to give truth to some of Sadayo's callous thinking. Although the thought in question wasn't something she could fully form but revolved about the biased nature among peers which could breed false trust, hope, and built false conceptions that could blind one's perception but that way of thinking was the nature of the beasts in power and not just the leader. The way of thinking comes with the job, Sadayo learned and reflected on these ideas from her experience and own former standing, and it was a seething stab that there was little in the way of proving anything against such barriers.
But the ultimate conclusion wasn't preferable, to say the least, and after Sadayo's expression nearly soured into obvious disgust. The punishment felt like a means to make a joke of and embarrass herself by, most likely, being asked to forego her passions and teach the bloodline blessed youth of the island. That issue itself was a pretty sizable drop in the bucket of... the metaphorical bucket that is Sadayo!
"I will not dismiss the insult that accuses me of being soft to a rogue nor will I dismiss your lack of... adherence to a peaceful protest. Despite."Then again the image of a Rashomon gate coming and going in her minds eye wasn't really a truthful definition to anything "peaceful" that Sadayo could stand for. With the operatives piling back the thought of anything else was smothered. Sadayo turned to face the door and for a moment thought it necessary to rally the weepy eyed excorist, who had long finished her lecture, to follow. The hesitation to tap her shoulder, gently, was more than obvious in her hand as it hovered beside Kyomei. The door was opened and the a vortex operative would lead the foreign duo out of the room. Sadayo followed through the doorway before indulging herself to pause in the moment. She stopped walking and allowed herself to get an eyeful of a youth who had been waiting outside. Eager. Dark. She didn't eye a headband on his person. Yet. One thing in common. Sadayo broke her stare at continued to leave with Kyomei, hopefully, in tow.
The second face, one she caught by the glimmer of an earring more so than the unbroken wash of red. He wasn't a child and whether or not he had a headband was beyond her sight. How many of these faces would she have to call a student is beyond her but not much about either of them gave her hopes for puppetry. {Exit - Academy? .}

Chie ignored the ninja as they left. When she was left alone with San, the Uzukage instructed her to take a seat. Chie sat with her arms on the sides of the chair as she casually allowed herself to relax with her village leader. Since the village leader was the same person with who Chie knew back in Konoha, it was easy to trust her. San sat with her hand on her desk as she looked directly into the academy teacher's eyes.
"Thanks for coming. You know how much I dislike paper work." San said exasperated. Chie smiled and nodded.
"Of course, Lady Uzukage." She replied.
"Funny you say that, actually." San said casually with a bit of laughter in her voice. She then pointed at Chie.
"Because I actually asked you today to make you the new Uzukage."
There was absolute silence. Chie had a look of absolute shock on her face. San's eyes were dead serious and her face was stern. After a solid minute, however, San broke into a smile and laughter, and Chie's nervousness caused her to giggle wildly.
"Lady Uzukage! Please do not play like that." Chie said through her growing blush and embarrassed expression as San continued to laugh. However, once the laughter faded, San's smile resumed, but her eyes returned to their cold, stoic stare.
"For real though. You're going to be the new Uzukage." The woman said. Chie once again found herself perplexed. Her eyes went around the room as she tried to analyze how to even began to reply.
"Lady Uzukage~"
"San." The woman retorted.
"San." Chie said. The name was foreign on her tongue, since it was only when Chie first met San that she addressed her by her first name. After the incident where she directly confronted San for lying and hiding in the academy, she never used her leader's first name again.
"You cannot be serious about me being the Uzukage. I am just the academy teacher." She said. Her arms folded in front of her as she shook her head. San stared sternly at Chie as she acted up.
"You're an academy teacher who has trained over a dozen new ninja. You also have done impressive work with Vortex operatives, and when there was a threat of Rogue espionage, you thwarted it by exposing the operatives to our Vortex agents. You have gone above the typical call of shinobi service, and that makes you the most eligible candidate for the title. After myself of course."
"But what about Kya? Or Sumika?" Chie responded. "Or hell, any of the half a dozen former Suna ninja?"
"Kya is my right hand woman, but she's already the Vortex Captain. To make her the village leader as well would provide too much power to one ninja." San said with a dismissive wave of her hand. "Sumika may be strong, but she's way too wild to lead a nation. Finally, the Suna ninja are fine, but I haven't worked with them as diligently as I worked with you."
Chie started to let it sink in that San was serious. She was making her the new Uzukage. She had thought this decision out. Chie's arms parted and she grabbed onto the arms of her chair for support. San took a breath as she stood up.
"Well, you're the Kage now. Best not mess up, since you now have at least a dozen of ninja waiting for instructions." Chie looked up at San.
"Are you leaving?" Chie asked.
"No reason to stick around. The official paperwork is going to you now, so I can go to have fun." San said with a smile. She then brought her hand her head and saluted Chie.
"Sayonara, Uzukage." She said as she bolted.
Meanwhile, the desk clerk provided the boy asking for a headband one. "The Lady Uzukage is busy. This is for you." He said gently.

Chie stood up as she approached the Uzukage's desk. As she approached her desk. She paused as she moved to the chair. The moment she sat down in this chair, everything became for real. She would become the Uzukage and resume all of the responsibility of the title. Her hand glided along the rims of the chair as she sat down in the chair. It was then that she became along as a woman appeared directly into her office. She rode on the back of a giant wolf-dog which caused the new kage to be surprised.
"I am looking for the Uzukage." The woman with gray hair said. Chie looked around before she answered.
"Well, you're looking at her." She said with a shrug of her shoulder. The woman crossed her arms as she departed her canine.
"You don't look like her." The woman said.
"I'm a new recruit. Sorry to disappoint." Chie said. Her hands moved to her desk as her fingers interlaced "And you are?" She asked.
"Ayame. This is Daichi." The woman said as she took a chair. Ayame sat in the chair and kept eye contact with the new leader. Daichi sat down and looked at the woman as well.
"I am here because the former Uzukage previously made a decision based on the actions of two of my former ninja, Sadayo and Kyomei."
Chie took a second to determine who these ninja were. She then perked up as she recalled the names.
"You mean puppet girl and the exorcist rogue?!" She snapped.
"They have names you child." The dog retorted. Chie snapped alert as she realized the dog's capacity for speech.
"Daichi, down." Ayame snapped at her pet.
"Apologies." She said politely. Chie kept her eyes on the dog for a few more moments before she looked at the former Kazekage.
"My companion is right, however. I would deeply appreciate you showing respect to two of my finest shinobi." Ayame said.
"Noted." Chie stated. She felt as though she wanted to throw in the lady's face that these ninja were no longer Suna ninja, and that their fate was in Uzushiogakure. However, as a new kage, the last thing she needed was to make enemies.
"Well yes. I did make a decision." Chie said. " She then added, "Well, technically the final call did come from the Lady Uzukage..." Chie realized that she forgot she was the Uzukage. She took a deep breath before she continued.
"For clarity. San was the Uzukage when the decision was made, but I was the one who suggested her action. She agreed with me that the best case scenario was to have the two work at the academy until they realize that ninja are not inherently evil, and that they can see the prospects of village life."
"Good luck with that." Daichi said through laughter.
"Daichi!" Ayame snapped.
"One more retort like that and I'm having you wait outside. Do you understand me?" The woman waved her finger at the massive creature. It was obvious to Chie that the woman must have had incredible shinobi strength in order to speak so freely. Once the dog nodded, Ayame smiled and resumed contact with Chie.
"Now then. I appreciate you being gentle on my former ninja." She said. She then added, "I wanted to discuss with you the state of my other former ninja that exist in this village, since you are new."
"Like Tetsuhiko and Masato?" Chie asked.
"And the dozen others that reside here." She said. Ayame continued to explain all of her ninja that began from Sunagakure. She even included several of the ninja who had not arrived at the village yet. When she finished, Chie asked for official records for the ninja. Ayame nodded and provided the information.
"Oh. And one more thing." Ayame stated. She then took out a scroll and placed it on the desk.
"The former kage had a contract with the turtle summons. Might I ask if you have any animal contracts?" She asked. Chie shook her head.
"I would hope then that you would take hold of this scroll then." Ayame said. She then stood up and placed the scroll closer to the woman.
"You see, these summons are important to the people of Sunagakure. They take part of the snake contract. I gave this contract to Kya, my friend. I want you to take it as well, and become a sage of the contract. This will allow you to better take care of the village."
"And what do you want in return?" Chie stated plainly.
"Sonyo Rue. She's a wanderer of this village." Ayame said as she returned to her seat.
"Keep her safe, and if you get any more refugees from Suna then I expect them to be as open as the previous Kage was."
Chie looked at the scroll as she looked back at the woman. She paused for a moment before she nodded.
"Fair enough." She said as she reached for the scroll.
"Thank you. That'll be enough." Ayame said as she returned to the back of the dog. As the dog stood up. Ayame smiled and nodded. "Have a lovely day." She said.

After his endeavors in the Uzuhiogakure business sector, Shinsei determined to meet Sanae to discuss his status within the village, content with his actions outside of the village's typical mainframe. However, upon arriving in the political realm of the village, he was surrounded by declarations and whispers of the coronation of a new Kage... Chie Saegahara.
His surprise was not evident upon his face, but as his mind was filled with questions and contemplations, he wondered whether or not he should even go to the office now. He knew that the woman had a strong distaste for rogues, and he wondered if she would even tolerate his presence, yet alone any requests to be either re-instated or... to maintain the illusion that he never really left. However, being unafraid of consequences was a trait he held securely, and so the man decided that he would make his way into the office. With a polite series of knocks, he parted the doors, observing the woman as she now maintained the seat of the previous Uzumaki oligarch.
He wondered the instability that Sanae's departure would bring. She... was strong; incredibly so. A great bulwark for the village.
With her gone, things would be different. He could only wonder in what ways.
"Chie," he whispered, before clearing his throat. "I'm back. I see things have changed since I left."
Chie had only begun to start the paperwork of village leader when a man entered her office. Apparently the person thought he was too good for the secretary. Naturally she was pissed. At least the former Kazekage offered something. When the man approached her with familiarity, the woman was even more revved to start swinging. However, when her eyes finally recognize who the man was, her jaw dropped. She slowly got out of her chair as she walked over to the man. She then darted away, however, as she moved toward her office door and stuck her head out of the opened doorway, her face now stoic.
"Hold off anyone else who wishes to enter, please." Chie said to the secretary as she also created a shadow clone which discreetly left the office with the gift from Ayame. She leaned out of the doorway and closed the door. She remained silent until she got back to her desk. She then ushered for Shinsei to take a seat. "We have quite a bit to discuss." She wouldn't wait for him to seat before she began. "Let's start with the fact that, according to the nice Vortex people who now report to me, that not only brought another rogue into the village, but it's also the same rogue who's part of the organization that is part of that group my brother runs. So combined with the fact that your sister apparently is also a wanted rogue for Uzushiogakure, I am really fascinated to see what you're going to pull out of your hat which you are going to use to justify all of your actions." She said with a smile. Despite her bold words and confrontational manner, a huge part of it was a facade. She was a flurry of emotions now that her former student has finally returned. She has been punishing herself ever since the boy left to be a rogue ninja. Now that he was back, she had no idea whether to hug the child or smack the living daylight out of him.

Shinsei bit his lower lip, and observed... and listened. Chie was . . . stern with him, but somehow he knew -- or at least imagined -- that her demeanor, and her words, betrayed her actual emotions. "They didn't bring the rogue into the village - I did," he said. His words were not confrontational, they were truthful. "I brought him here to help the village uncover the truth behind the Kogarashi. I myself still don't know all of the details for certain, but I know that their actions go beyond what you know in their pervasiveness; Taylor will be the evidence of that. He was... manipulated by them." He spoke with eyes meeting hers, his posture firm and his lips moving without pause. There was no deception. He was no ally to the Kogarashi, and he had already expressed that to Kya. She believed him, so Chie could too.
"As for my sister... I haven't seen her in years. I'm not responsible for her actions, just as you're not responsible for Takumi's." He said this not only because it was true, but because in that way, he and Chie could understand one another; they both had dissident, fractional families. They were divided, split apart, and certainly far from level ground in terms of the ideologies of their siblings.
He shook his head. "I have nothing to pull from my hat. No excuses. I left the village because I wanted to grow on my own; I desired to have an adventure that could not be acquired within the walled confines of the village. The Kogarashi didn't take me away, nor did they plant the idea into my head. Unlike them, I never became a 'rogue'. I never performed vile deeds. In fact, I spent much of my time cleaning up the countryside of the Whirlpool Country, disposing of criminals and violent organizations that proliferated drugs and otherwise marketable forms of violence. I left because I felt that I could grow exponentially faster with my own feet guiding me; I was correct." He spoke with full transparency.
There were no lies, and truthfully, no excuses. If Chie wasn't content with his answer, then that was fine. He could leave, as inconvenient as it was, to go somewhere else. But she wasn't illogical, and he knew that he was an asset. Somehow, in that short time away from the village, he'd become one of the strongest shinobi around. That meant something -- to Uzushio, and its future. It meant more than a few months of separation. At least, he thought so.
Chieβs fist slammed on the table the moment Shinsei patted himself on the back for his own actions. βYou took the law into your own hands!β She shouted. Her eyes were feral and her face was mean. She had listened to everything her former student said, and a great deal of it was serviceable toward forgiveness. But the vulgarity of his actions. βI have Vortex for a reason, Shinsei. As did Lady San when she was in charge. We, as a society, worked together to make this new village. We bled, and wept, and fought who we had to and what monsters came our way as a group. You are not above the village itself, Shinsei. There were venues for you to excel swiftly if you thought for more than five seconds.β Her voice was in a low growl as she spoke. βYou sound just like my brother.β She really wished that those who fled villages to do their own thing would stop using the justification of righteousness. Takumi also claimed that he was above the law and that the actions of Kogarashi were necessary. Chie took a deep breath before she spoke again.
βWell, here we are.β She said with a forced smile, a chuckle, and folded hands. It was then that a vortex agent appeared and let her know that a new ninja was crowned champion of the arena. βThank you.β She said as the agent left. Even though she stated no visitors which was why the fourteen year old boy remained on the outside of her office, she always made time for new information. Chie took a deep breath and looked deeply at the boy. βI want nothing more than to believe that you are not a rogue.β She said honestly. The tension in her voice broke a little. βThereβs nothing I would like to believe in more. That you were misguided, that you thought you were doing the right thing, and that you came home to apologize.β Chie felt like the words exposed a weakness of hers. She wanted more than anything to believe in the good of Shinsei. She wanted to believe that any student she raised would know better. She wanted to be sure that Kyomei was wrong. βBut youβre not here to apologize. You donβt think you have done anything wrong. You stood here and told me that you were correct in your actions. You are a sign of weakness in my village. You are what I hope to fix moving forward.β
Chie stood up from her desk when she finished. She moved away from her symbol of authority and created a shadow clone. βAddress any issues that arise. If anything dire occurs create a new one and pop to let me know.β Chie ordered. She then looked back at Shinsei and sighed. βI will not throw you out of the village. Nor will any vortex agents harm or harass you further. And I will verify your story about the Kogarashi boy to make sure he truly was being used. Maybe he has some hope left.β Chie moves away. As she got to the door, she paused before she opened them. βI am so sorry that I failed you.β She said as softly as a weep. She then left and plowed past the boy. She felt a Molotov cocktail of volatile emotions. Pain, regret, sorrow, anger, disappointment. The only way she knew how to vent that out was to hit something or someone. And the last time she checked, there was a new champion at the arena.

He sighed. It was evident that Chie, by now, was so used to the feeling of failure - and the expectation - that before she even witnessed it, the feeling encroached upon her gut and she wept hyperbole. He understood why she felt the way she did -- particularly as, at one point, Shinsei had become a nightmare realized; she had always wished to safeguard her students against the influence of rogues. He had, before, brought her to her knees in stress and anger as he informed her of her brother's actions against the village. Then, instead of remaining in the village and putting her mind at ease, he left and became all that she feared.
But she was not listening to him. She was not understanding -- this was only his rationale, not the full picture. This was the rationale of a then-seventeen year old Genin with few talents, and a great deal of longing to be free.
As she pressed past him and headed for the door, he stopped her, throwing his arm outward so as to gesture for her pause. "Wait," he asked.
"I never said whether I was misguided, or wrong, or if I felt sorry. I do think that I was correct in that I would grow faster while away from the village, but you don't even know why I feel that way, as of yet." The Senju's brows were stern; it was clear that he did not believe it was right to leave things half-complete. "There's so much still left unsaid. If you want to be intentionally disappointed, then you can go. But if you want to know everything before you make your judgment, then I don't think we're finished." He was not a liar, and perhaps sometimes that was difficult. It would have been easier for both of them if he'd groveled and begged. But he wanted for Chie to understand -- to really understand. It was the only way he could return.
"Chie," he exhaled, lightly. "My chakra is corrupt. My Mokuton is foul, black and twisted; it grows corrosive fungus, it excretes poison. The reason I left the Academy when I was younger, before graduating, is that I found myself deeply afraid of my own being... and insecure that others would find me in the same light. Upon graduation, here, I found that many of my insecurities were prudent -- that there was, is something wrong with me, even now. And that it was unsafe to continue to progress within the village, lest I halt my progress to prevent others around me from being harmed." And it was a valid fear. He would not explain to Chie why, as it involved invoking many of the criminals he'd killed on his own accord. But...
"Many of my fears were equally correct. It turns out, my Mokuton -- the Blighted Thicket -- spreads like wildfire, growing miles in minutes. Even grazing the thistle drains chakra from the victim, instantly killing a non-shinobi. As I learned my jutsu and expanded upon my abilities, I discovered that -- untrained -- I was an immense threat to all around me. If I hadn't left, I could have resulted in countless corpses, from the walls of our village to the coast. I was a hazard, and I isolated myself to prevent destruction." His eyes lowered. That wasn't everything, there was a great deal more. More reasons, more youthful rationale. But pertinently, this was the reason he knew he needed to progress elsewhere. For everyone's sake.
"Was I right? I don't know. I should've said something to someone -- you, Kya, Lady Sanae. That's true. Perhaps I would've been accommodated. But I felt that I couldn't take the risk, Chie. I still... hear it calling for me, all the time. The Blight. My chakra is alive, and it's not merely my imagination. The Insects... the Summons I now control... they see it too." But back then, he was far more ignorant on all of it; he didn't know what the full truth was, nor could he even grasp it. All he knew was that he was volatile -- dangerous. His wood had a tendency to seek out other shinobi like a beacon, and absorb from them. Now, finally, he had control over it. He could do all that he liked, and more.
And that was why he could return.
"As for those criminals, well... the Vortex didn't even really know about them. Many of them were ruling large swaths of the countryside as business moguls, or even nobility. Many of them exploited from the suffering refugees of Konoha, Hi no Kuni, and other lands. I'd known their exploitation myself, back when my family was fleeing the destruction of the Old World. They thrived, the village unaware of their foulness, and the Daimyo complicit. That is why... I want to return to the village. Because I have a gift for uncovering the truth, and weeding out darkness. If you allow me to return to Uzushio, I can extend the arm of the law. I can hunt down rogues; I can destroy the Kogarashi. I've been to Gimangakure, and I've seen things that no others here have. All I ask is a chance. If you're not content, then tell me, and I'll go."
Chie saw the hand which reached up to stop her. She was tempted to break it. But, this was still her student. All children need to be heard. All children need to be validated. She moved back to her desk and silently gave her clone the commands she needed. The clone left the office and headed toward the arena. Once the clone left she returned to her desk and allowed Shinsei to say every last detail his little heart needed to say. When he finished she sat there in silence. She was still not completely composed from her previous outburst, but she knew one thing was for certain. Shinsei Sanada would say anything to justify his actions and win the graces back with the village. Perhaps that was something which could be used.
"You want a chance, and I want information. But first, let's put a few facts on the table." Chie stated plainly. She then called forth a vortex operative and the agent came in a moment. In the masked figures hands were a half a dozen folders. Chie took the folders and thanked the agent. The agent nodded and then left. "The seven operatives you see before you are agents who died in the pursuit of trying to find you, Shinsei Sanada." Chie said as she opened each folder and placed it opened on the desk. It showed the mortician pictures of each agent dead on a metal slab. "The squad and their leader thought it best to go into Kogarashi for information. However, as you can see, the rogue organization showed kindness only so far as allowing us to collect the bodies from the side of the road." She said sternly. She did not want to undersell at all the consequences of Shinsei's actions.
"These are the results of you choosing to leave without giving anyone any warning, even though by your own admission you knew that there was something wrong with you. This is what happens to the good people who were charged with tracking you, since you were still considered one of us. Now you did not kill these men and women, but their blood is on your hands." Chie waited to make sure that the faces of each person were memorized by Shinsei. She then closed the folders and placed them in the corner of her desk. "So yes, I do have a use for you. In short, I want you, as an official ninja of my village, to gather information on other rogue activity. The abridge version of my plan is that I want Kogarashi to face competition from more than Uzushiogakure by the time I'm ready to make a move on them." Chie reached into her desk and pulled out a headband. She placed it on the table as the metal symbol gleamed the light from the overhead source. As soon as she did, however, she pulled out a second headband and placed it right next to it.
"I'll be assigning you as a konin, which gives you a lot more freedom than the average ninja. Abuse this, and it'll be the last time I will trust you." She warned. "In addition, I want you take one of these headbands and give it to Taylor Childe. If you can gather information on at least three rogues or wanders not connected to Kogarashi or affiliated with Uzushiogakure and can at least guarantee that they might cooperate with our village, then you can make him a village ninja." Chie waited before she spoke further. "Know this, however. You have permission to leave my village, but if I find you or that other boy brandishing rogue colors then consider our agreement off. And I will have shadows lurking by you to make sure that my information is updated. Remember that the next time you see a spider without a web, or a bird without a nest." Chie of course was referring to the stealth division of Vortex, which specialized in using every trick available to hide in plain sight. At this moment there were four Vortex operatives in her office. There were two by the secretary and two in the very office that Shinsei and Chie spoke casually in. Uzushiogakure may be small, but its military has grown to an excellent size.

Weaving through the traffic of the rather busy administrative offices, Koutetsu steadily made his way to the largest tower. He always found the waterfalls to be soothing as it reminded him of life at sea. He took his time climbing the stairs to the the top.
When Koutetsu arrived at the office of the Uzukage, the doors were closed and the secretary waved him over. "Hello, I'm Koutetsu of Kajibamaru, Genin. I'm here to speak to the Uzukage if they have time." The secretary gestured to the seating area and said, "The Uzukage is currently in an important meeting and may not be available for some time. If you wish to wait, please take a seat." Bowing slightly, Koutetsu found an empty chair near a window. Gazing out, he took in the amazing view and quickly was lost in reverie.

Chie offered him a chance, and that was all that he -- the disobedient rogue he had been -- could ask for. It was, of course, saddening to see the lives that were lost in pursuit of him. He honestly didn't think that anyone would care enough to give chase, nor that the Kogarashi would be so blatant as to engage them in combat.
But he was wrong. It was a sorrowful lesson to learn, but now he knew: the village actually cared about him. They risked the lives of so many -- all stronger than he was, at the time -- just to bring back one of their own. To spare him from the clutches of darkness. It was unbelievable to him, now. "I'm sorry, Chie," was all he could muster. His own freedom had stripped everything from several others; as if he'd forgotten that the world they lived in was cold, and violent, and unfair.
But he could avenge them. That he could do, for certain.
"Understood," he responded. He would be gaining information on rogues outside of Uzushiogakure, and pointing their weapons towards the enemies of the village. Essentially, Shinsei's role within Uzu would be to act as a liaison and informant between neutral and friendly rogues, and the village. A shadowy broker of alliances, loyal to his institution, but still free to act with his best judgment in mind.
To put it simply, the role was... perfect for him. It was all he could ask for.
And, perhaps best of all, he would be allowed to free Taylor -- and if they did well, place him into a position within the village. Chie had been gracious, for certain.
He wrapped his headband around his neck, and tied it, hanging somewhat loosely atop his collarbone. Then, he nodded, and prepared to step outside of the room, now that Chie had given him his orders. "Thank you, Lady Uzukage," he spoke politely, with a bow. "Know this, however -- if I do encounter the Kogarashi directly, it may serve us all best if I simply take their heads. Taylor and I together will be enough to take down their organization, if it comes to direct confrontation. Of that, I am certain."
With those words, he left the Uzukage's office, making his way to the Temple of All Gods.
Shinsei exited the office and left the doors opened. From her desk Chie rose and moved out of the doorway. She then saw Koutetsu who had taken a seat. "Hey kid! How's the genin life treating you?" She asked with one hand on her hip. Despite the intense moment she just escaped from, she felt herself come back at ease at the sight of her former student.

PassiveEffects: _β Korabo S-ranked ___β Able to use Korabo up to A-ranked with herself. _β Electric Resistance Training ___β Negates harm from own lightning ninjutsu _β Ninjutsu Alchemy ___β This technique allows Chie to passively Korabo two jutsu together. The limitations of this are as such. First of all, the technique works passively only up to one rank below Chie's current Korabo level. This means that if Chie's Korabo level is A-ranked then it can only be used at a B-ranked potential, which means that Chie can only Korabo two B-ranked techniques to use the korabo skill at A-ranked. This assures that this benefit does not allow the user to passively perform techniques one rank higher than they can usually. Second of all, this technique only applies when Chie korabo's with herself. If she korabos with an ally or a clone then this benefit is non-applicable. Finally, an additional charge of 10 chakra per rank of the final product technique is required to be paid. So if the user Korabo two B-ranked techniques, (the user must also pay for each individual skill), then the final technique would be an A-ranked skill, and thus would cost 50 more chakra to perform this way. Overall this technique's only purpose is to make Chie more cool by utilizing all of her elements and having them combine into super cool ways like a wizard should. _β Hidden Mist Vision ___β Sees clearly during hidden mist technique, or mist in general. _β Fire Resistance Training ___β Negates harm from own fire ninjutsu _β True Belief ___β The user has meditated and trained long enough in this monk art to understand how important true belief is. By understanding the power of the spirit over the mind, and the mind over the body, the user has increased their stamina by sheer will power alone, as well as increased their toughness and durability. Increases Stamina by +25 for every style mastered. _β Enlightenment ___β Meditation and spiritual exploration and understand yields interesting results. Due to the greater understanding of the self, the user is more aware of the connection between their mind, body and spirit, and how to utilize that connection. The user is now slightly more skilled at just about everything. Striking, blocking, moving, absorbing, and taking damage. The user's strength and fortitude is increased heavily. _β Impact Resistance ___β The user acclimates to using the cestus in a battle setting by pounding away at a training dummy with the cestus. By analyzing the feedback of different forms of strikes, the user finds a way to minimize any damage they may take from their own strikes. Upon completing this training, the user suffers no recoil damage from techniques from any non-Rigorous Taijutsu or Bukijutsu Style up to either the highest trained rank in this Style or the highest trained rank in the Hard Physical Formless Style, whichever is lower, and does not suffer damage from striking anything harder than their fists. _β Focal Point ___β The user meditates through combat, taking time to narrow their focus to their Chakra pathways. In so doing, they become innately aware of when they are being observed in combat, and can pinpoint the locations of anyone below their rank observing them within one meter. _β Thread Walking ___β By using Chakra to focus the mind, the user becomes able to balance enough on thin platforms to use Bukijutsu techniques without any penalties. Had a few other incidents and adventures."
He gestured to the Kage's office, "I was hoping to speak to the Uzukage about a couple things: particularly my career options. I know I still have a lot to learn, but having a plan helps. How about you? How have you been?"
