Eridia took point this investigation, choosing where they would go. Not having any pressing desire for any section herself, Mera followed suit. The real question was why Eridia let Mera stick around. But she didn't ask.
Instead, she opted to take notes and try to stay aware of her surroundings.
Too bad her surroundings seemed to be out to get her.

Hemera paused at Eridia's question out of the blue. Well, maybe not that out of the blue. They did have that ill-fated meeting... Still, she was cautious in her response. "I agree with their message and I support their efforts. They're good trolls." And they had given her a chance to do something meaningful.
The tealblood let silence fall, as if that was the end of it, but in that silence she hit another hazard. Partially to cover herself, partially because she was curious, she couldn't help but add, "Why do you ask?"

Hm. Interesting response. But she had a hard time believing that it was idle curiosity, fueled by literally nothing than just wanting to know. Why would Eridia of all people care what Hemera did with her time?
However, tact was important. "Ah," she responded, preferring to stay polite. "I do understand that you do not have the best impression of them..."

Polite as she tried to be, Mera had to frown at that. Terrible was a strong term to use, and would need evidence to back up versus a negative impression. "Are they terrible based n more than the conflict you had at the meeting?"
She had to think for another moment. "Who did invite you to that? You don't seem the sort to have mingled with Panili before..." Maybe a bit blunt, but Mera had a hard time imagining Eridia at Panili's booth.

Somehow, somewhere, Odette found the courage to start investigating the mansion on her own. She was a big girl right? She could defend herself, there was nothing to be afraid of.
Looking out of the corner of her eye, she spotted her reflection for a brief moment, but it split into two. No wait, it was normal again. Was she imagining things?
