Comments:
"YOU HAVE SOME NERVE!" Doraci screams at Tea, who was still in his werewolf form.
Sea was stunned by the sudden yell, and it took a split second before he could warn her,
"Doraci! Get back here!" It's dangerous. Who knew what Tea would--
Doraci's head swiveled back to face him, "Shut up, Sea! I'm talking with him."
Sea wanted to protest, but after spending the past month with her, he knew she was a girl
to be reckoned with. If Tea wasn't a giant wolfman, he'd be afraid for him.
"TEA! How
dare you!" she continues to scold him, "Just because you turned into a
wolf monster, you think you can quit your bodyguard job? Honestly, you should be
ashamed of yourself! You needed your best friend to fill in for you!" she points behind her
at Sea and Sea shrunk back.
Leave me out of this, Sea couldn't help thinking. Then, he shifted his eyes to Tea, did
he understand any of this. The wolfman was staring down at her, tail twitching slightly,
then lips spread out into a grin. That was enough for Sea to know--
"Look out!" Sea dashed forward, mini jets alight on his prosthetic legs and grabbed
Doraci by the waist as Tea's claw came down onto the concrete where she was
standing. The ground cracked beneath his nails and he could hear Doraci's teeth grinding
against each other in her mouth.
"Put me down! I'm not leaving him!"
"You can't reason with him right now!" Sea kept his grip on her, "We have to come back on
a full moon. Just... Don't... Please stop. I have to keep you safe."
"I have to."
