Meet Al'ndru
Name: Al'ndru

Physical Description: Al'ndru is a tall man, standing at 6' 3 feet tall. With broad shoulders and a lean physique he can cut an intimidating stance. His hair is a dark black and he always wears it short and slightly spiked up. He has scruff of a beard that isn't fully and he keeps it groomed enough so it stays that way and doesn't grow out of control.
Personality: Al'ndru is a bit strange when most people meet him. He doesn't worry about getting off on the wrong foot and he could care less what people end up thinking about him. At first glance, Al'ndru only cares for himself and doesn't care about the plight that effects most other people. A go to tern for him is simply 'I don't care', which is true, he really doesn't care about other people's problems and cannot be bothered to worry about them. This changes some if he is more invested in the person or if their problem somehow begins to involve him more then it should. Once this happens, Al'ndru will do what he can to help them.
Al'ndru also is very confident in his abilities, to a very pompous level. He knows he is good and is able to back that up. He doesn't worry about being shown up by anyone and struts around with the confidence of what he believes he deserves, which is a lot. He isn't afraid to show anyone just how good he is either and a lot of times they find out that his level of being pompous is rightly deserved. The man doesn't show this level of confidence for a fake achievement.

History: Born of two aged-out candidate's now Drudges during a gold flight, Al'ndru was a weyrbrat through and through. He has only known High Reaches Weyr as his home and spent the majority of his youth terrorizing around with the other children. Although his parents were drudges, the boy never let that hold him back, focusing on the potential of his future. He looked forward to being a candidate, even with his parents as a cautioned tale of what can happen if you don't find your lifemate.
At the age of fourteen, he entered the candidate program and took to it easily. He worked hard to learn everything that he could and began to excel in his studies. Working hard and doing chores wasn't anything knew to him and he hunkered down to take care of that just as well.
He stood multiple times on the hatching sands, never finding his partner, until he was seventeen turns old. The hatching was going just like the other ones, almost all of the eggs had already hatched and Al'ndru was sure he was not going to be one of the lucky ones this go round. He more turns to go yet, so he did not begin to despair as some of the other candidates did. Just as he was resigned to march back to the candidate barracks, an egg hidden within the sand burst open. It was hard to see what came out of it at first, the dragonet inside was small, a gangly looking creature with wings a bit too big for it's body right now, but to Al'ndru the little bronze was beautiful.
The bronze reached for him, a whinning creel coming into the shared bond as he tried to right himself, tripping over his wings. "Al'ndrumine! They laugh at me! We will show them just how formidable we can be!" All the while, Al'ndru made his way towards his bronze mate, kneeling down to help him untangle himself from his own wings. A grateful creel was earned from this and the two began their life as weyrlings.
Alucarth was a force to be reckoned with. Although small for a bronze, he had the personality and ambition to make up for it. He pushed Al'ndru to try knew things, to reach higher for the both of them, and the two began to rise, to be known more and more among the other bronze riders.
With the return of thread, the pair are working just as hard, if not harder, to make a name for themselves. Al'ndru tries to work closely with some of the gold riders, though most of the time he spends it with other bronze riders or even starcarfters, working on trying to figure out where the next threadfall will be. Alucarth does his best to posture and pose, showing off his strength and ambition. |

Meet Bronze Alucarth
Name: Alucarth
Age: 18
Color: Bronze
Size: 35'
Physical Description: Small for a bronze, Alucarth isn't very striking in his appearance. His wings, though they have finally grown to where he doesn't trip over them, seem to be a bit bigger then the rest of him.
Personality: A loyal dragon to his rider and his home weyr, Alucarth can be considered a typical bronze. A very strategic mind is housed within, one who strives for ambition and a higher calling. He will help those he feels deserves it, although he may be asking for a favor down the road. Always thinking two steps ahead, it can be very hard to get the jump upon Alucarth.
Of course, being a smaller dragon, a small bronze especially, Alucarth does not take kindly towards any slights. Be they about his power or his size, especially his size. He has been known to lash out at anyone who makes fun of the fact he is small, showing them that it does not matter the size of his body, he has just as much fight in him as the larger bronzes, he also has more room to maneuver so he can wind around them a bit more in a fight. He isn't known for letting someone off the hook with just an apology if they have slighted him, one to hold grudges.
Alucarth also prefers to do things on his own, or hold a very tight leash upon those who are doing it for him. He likes things running a certain way and doesn't take kindly for anyone to mess up the plan he put together.
